The sentence feels a little light considering the planning that went into the murder! He cut a mans throat and stabbed him 13 times! He got as much time as a drunk driver in a vehicular homicide would get! Pretty disturbing! It should have been life without parole!
The Prosecution should have said to the jury Live without parole instead of telling them it was up to the jury. Wrong decision 😡 he doesn’t deserve parole .
With parole or without parole doesn't matter - he will have to admit his crime in order to be paroled, which is something a raging narcissist like him cannot do. He's never getting out.
Only time he teared up was for himself. No parole until he gives a full confession and details what he did and gives a real apology to the victims and his own family
If he has all these patience helping his kids homework, where did he get the time to cheat? Oh wait... nevermind, he abused his work hours for his cheating...
Clark County District Court Judge Michelle Leavitt can invoke sentencing enhancements because the killing was found to be with use of a deadly weapon, willful, deliberate, premeditated, by a person who lay in wait and on a victim 60 years or older. That could raise Telles’ time in prison to a minimum of 21 years and a maximum of 28 years. Please contact Judge Leavitt and ask her to impose the MAXIMUM sentence of 28 years to Life before Parole!! Justice for Jeff German and Family!!
He will be around 67 years old at his first parole hearing, which is likely to be denied as long as he continues to deny any involvement in the crime. If he ever admits to what he did and takes some accountability, he might be released in his 70s-if he survives in prison. Some gangs don't take kindly to those who kill elderly people; there isn't much respect for that. And to all you commenters, where will you be 20 years from now?
Scary he was so sloppy to wear the sneakers and have the bag he used in the killing. I think he thought he was so smart.. nobody could catch him...! 20 yrs with parole.. not good!! He is a murderer. Sick 😫
That one lady didn't believe anything she wrote down. She stumbled over every word that was claiming how great he was. There wasn't one sentence she got out correctly.
What a show , their was not one tear from his eyes. . He would look over at the jury then cup his hands again and pretend to cry. . Also his wife didn’t seen very upset that her husband was convicted of murder!!!
It's only a "possibility" of parole after 20 years. Not a guarantee. He'll be 67 when he can ask for parole. He has to walk the straightest of lines at Nevada DOC for the request to be entertained. Of course, Telles' life isn't ruined as Jeff German's was. He can still interact with his family. Jeff German can never do that again. There's some semblance of justice, we'll just have to wait and see what the next 18 years bring for Robert Telles.
When if he gets out he will be 67, almost two years away from the age if the man he killed. I think that’s a fair sentence. I hope that he can find a way to redeem himself in prison and atone for the life he took.
Just thought about this - he might be closer to 65 when eligible (assuming he makes parole). He'll get credit for the two years he served at CCDC, so 18 more to go before he can ask for parole.
The official sentencing date is October 16th. The judge can alter the sentence the jury recommended, possibly adding time for the two charge-enhancements. I trust she will add at least another 5-10 years.
20 years for that amazing man’s life??!!
Absolutely disgusting!!

Agreed
The man he murdered will never get paroled from death. Neither should this monster.
The Prosecution should have said to the jury Live without parole instead of telling them it was up to the jury. Wrong decision 😡 he doesn’t deserve parole .
Exactly!!!
I agree. The prosecutor was pretty wimpy on the sentencing phase.
the prosecution was so weak
First he beat his wife, cheated on her, bullied his coworkers and ended a life. God said enough.
Parole unjustified. He lied and denied to the end and showed no remorse or empathy.
Justice has finally caught up with him.

He should remain locked in a dark place forever.
He "IS" a "dark place"!!! So WHY should there be a light at the end of the tunnel for him???
Mr. German doesn't get to see any light. PERIOD.🤬
You mean like living inside his mind until he die?
Eligible for parole doesn't mean he will get paroled after 20 years. He probably won't even survive 20 years in the pen.
If he has all these patience helping his kids homework, where did he get the time to cheat? Oh wait... nevermind, he abused his work hours for his cheating...
Brought them n the back room after he was done.
@@djroberts6792there’s video. It was also in the backseat of a car

This journo is so talented. Very big on talent.
Hold out juror probably compromised their guilty vote for minimum sentence.
Objection!: Speculation
Sustained 🤣

I will likely be dead. Or I'll be 81 years old, wishing I was dead.
It sounds like a real journalist.

It's only the possibility of parole - he could very well be denied when he asks for it in 18 years.
Possibility of parole??🤦♀️. He won’t. It was a hit man🤷♀️🥴
That one lady didn't believe anything she wrote down. She stumbled over every word that was claiming how great he was. There wasn't one sentence she got out correctly.
Already saw this news.
he's already been in jail for 3 years now, so it's 17 not 20 years. Also with good behavior he will be released in 10
Jeff didn’t have that opportunity, your son sentence him to dead…

20 years for murder....you get more for jaywalking....he's lucky he wasn't a shade darker or he would have gotten the death penalty

It's not supposed to be fair; it's supposed to guarantee he will never do it again.
Ended a man for an inconvenience.
Bye-bye comfy lifestyle, luxuries, n side ho3's
Though 'Life' should be life!
he'll be out in 10-15
7 with good behavior and he already served 3 nearly so he's out in 2028
Purple Hair 😂
