Good video. Can we use rca video splitter to use both camera and video-in ?
As far as quality which is better asp or hdmi when it comes to audio and viewing quality with rca
There's a problem. You said to use the backup camera input jack on the radio. Unless your radio has a camera button right on the front of it, you'd need a 12V signal switch to the reverse signal input on the back of the radio.
I'm sure all radios that have the camera option have a button somewhere, but I've seen many where you have to dig through the settings to find it.
you only need to do that if you want it to come on when it's in reverse. otherwise just change the source to camera view
just make sure the camera source is turned on in the settings
and if it DOESN'T, get rid of the radio and get a decent one that does. none of that DUAL or BOSS or Chinese white box bullshit

I'm an electronics installer, I know what I'm talking about. Unless you wanna dig through the players settings to find a camera option, or have a camera button right on the front, you have to use the reverse wire on the back of the radio for the REAR CAMERA input.
There's no need to connect the reverse feed wire if you are not installing a backup camera.

I did this but I’m not getting any sound, I did connect my phone to Bluetooth and then did the screen mirror but I just hear a little of the video and a lot of static. Any advice for this ? Thanks!
Static is a bit odd, try restarting the phone.
I just recently bought a double din car stereo ,Odell CA-71BT when I try to mirror everything works with on glitch Netflix only has sounds but i only see a black screen what should I do to correct this?

What about if u have a backup camera installed?
Then you're SOL :( you'd have to sacrifice it, that's why this method isn't ideal
Get a splitter and make sure you have access to the switch

if your stereo has a front camera view like mine does you can use that or if it has audio video inputs you can also use those if you don't want to use your backup camera and those options are available to your model like mine.

I have a spa300 how can I work to mirror a galaxy s9 plus? Do I just need the hdmi to USB c cable?
what i want to know is, is there a way to mirrow the double din onto another device like an ipad or tablet. I want to have the tablet be my glorified backup camera screen but also be usable for navigation and use the double din for all stereo related functions.
If your stereo has a video output it is possible to send that source to another display

Warning for those with Pixel phones, this won't work. Pixel phones won't allow you to do video out thru the USB C

Blue screen means no video signal. You need to trouble shoot power to the camera, reverse trigger, camera power and ground.

Pretty confused by that you mean. Android Auto is not a screen mirror. And you can't mirror via USB. Android Auto is a integration software in the stereo
Yup I'm well aware of that... But apparently there's an apps called AA mirror which allow you to mirror your phone within android auto by via USB... However it require root access and debugging... Which kinda need a Tutorial... And works only with android auto 2.9 and below and a developer access thru android auto apps

I used this set up on my radio but it has a delay that is about .5 of a second the video goes faster than the audio

If your phone is off, there will be no screen mirroring because the source is off :)

Yup :)
PSA: This trick won't work on Google PIxel phones as they don't support HDMI video out over USB C.
From further reading it looks like you can get HDMI / DVI out of Pixel using a Displaylink USB adapter. So you'd need two external adapters to hook up a Pixel phone to composite video.

The Pioneer MVH-A210BT? You'll need to get the RCA Mirroring adapter detailed in this video. It will connect to your rear AV AUX input using an RCA to 3.5mm adapter. You'll also need a Lightning Digital AV Adapter for iPhone with an HDMI cable or a an HDMI to USB-C cable for a USB-C Android phone.

How do you bypass the Parking brake?
All you do is take the wire that is supposed to connect to the parking brake, and instead connect it to a ground. It’s as simple as that!
