100 cords is definitely somthing to be proud of! Keep up the good work Derek. I usually do 20-30 cord a year. I think the limit to what I can sell a season for the price I want is about 30 cord. If I dropped my price I could double the sales but I don’t have a way to double the amount of wood I get or the time it takes to process the wood.
@765Guys Thanks Genin! 20-30 full cord is a good amount! In order for me to get good dollars per cord, I need to deliver it all around 20 minutes away. Lots of people, not many trees=more$
About 10 face cords (3.33 full cords) for personal use per year and for the last 4 years or so another 30 or so face cords per year for neighbors but that is just blocked and not split and some in log form to neighbor that I can skid them over to...all free just to get rid of it, mostly from storm damage cleanup.
like your vid..we are 2 old farts and do 100 cords every year for hobby..wood from tree service free..me 65 partner 62 ..keeps us in shape cheers from canada
Ya wow that’s a lot of wood, face cord or country cord? Still a lot of wood either way without a processor. I bet that splitfire is making all the difference in your operation. Great job there!
I usually do 8 cord for personal and 5 +/- for my customers. This year I backed off. Wood was tough to get early on this Spring and I refuse to sell green. I’d like to be in the 30 cord range just as a side hustle. Definitely won’t get rich that way. Haha 100 is SUPER bud. Yessir
@@dereksstuff8395 and for the record I appreciate you doing the vids on the 1165V. I’d love to get one order but winter is approaching quickly and I tend to stop spending money soon here haha
It’s never enough 😂
That is so true!
Sounds like you're feeling better! Good deal.
