Glad to see you’ve been cleared and back at it!! I know the feeling of “not as young as used to be” I’ll be 47 end of the month myself! Havnt had much time this year to cut or split ourselves had a major unexpected remodel take place this year at the place so the ole 35SHO has just sat in the back of the shed waiting to be put to use. Stay healthy Mike!
@@nebraskawoodstr I was just down your way a couple weeks ago as well. I should have looked ya up and swung by and checked your place out and visited alittle. We could definitely use alittle shot of rain in our neck of the country lately. Sure jealous of your wood yard. Hopefully next year we can transition more to cutting and splitting instead of pouring concrete in the side instead 😂 not as young as I used to be I’m learning also! LOL
54 on NYs Eve, yes start slowing down. Dairy farming has done a # on mostly my shoulders, but back hates me from time to time too. Work smarter not harder Don't put $ update on air, big brother watching
for chemical firestarters i prefer varsol and paint thinner to traditional fuels. varsol is a good one. if i was teaching a young person to start a fire on a wet day i would show them to use varsol. the volatility is much less and it still lights quite readily
Back in the saddle, good for you. I was 50 once but can’t remember that far back.

Glad you have healed up and using the equipment . 👍🏻🇺🇸

Almost 50, welcome to rethinking how you achieved the same results as when you were 29. Might be an extra step or two but you got this.
@@MtTopLiving thanks. Take care.

@@scottbrooks2351 I will give that a try.
The woodyard is looking good Mike. Pretty good inventory going into heating season. Good luck with the bow and regular season.
