    I've made this mistake before. My soil was of clay type but I used coco peat thinking that drainage will be better, but the opposite happened. Then I had to use sand to make that soil well drained. Thank you for sharing such informative thing.

    When dealing with clay dirt, aerate the soil, then you can sprinkle cocopeat over the top surface to still benefit from the anti-microbial and water retention benefits of coir.

      please wash cocopeat properly before use and it will give good result.
      Calathea grow well in moist soil but it should not be soggy. generally it required more water then other plants.

      Use less water. Watering everyday is a mistake. Only water if you see the top soil is completely dry and measure water not add too much water. Like one cup water for a small pot everyday or as required by the plants age and health.

    In our green chille plant , there are many flower but they are just falling ftom the plant .They are not becoming chille. How to stop the falling of flowers.

      Ma'am, most commonly chilly and tomatoes flowers drop down due to these 2 reasons -
      - Lack of pollination and nitrogen deficiency (high then requirements)
      Please check these two reasons and all flowers convert in fruits.

    Ghar ki jitni bhi sabjiyo or fruits ke peels hain unko sukha ke fir grind kar ke plants mein dala hai
    Par mujhe dar hai ki kuch kharab na ho Jaye.kya esa karna theek rahega?
    Maine khoob sari vegetables or fruits ke peels sukha ke dale hain

    Sir I use potting mix in 1:1:1 ratio of soil , vermicompost , sand then also my soil remains wet for many days even in this scorching heat , I have also made 2-3 drainage holes per pot I am clueless what to do.....

    Sir , plants purchased from nursery are grown in soil .But at home I want to grow it in cocopeat with compost . So I should plant it with it's original soil or not ? I mean will the soil of nurseryl do any harm in plant's growth . Please suggest

      Ma'am,
      If plants are small then we can grow them in cocopeat + sand + Compost will helpful.
      But if plants are not small and required large space after taking growth then please use soil.

      But here soil is alkaline in nature . So how to fix it , any solution ?

      Sir, if soil is clay then please do not use cocopeat with it and use sand equal to soil amount.
      If soil is sandy then use cocopeat and compost in equal part and it will help.

    I need help with my soil.
    I have used 50:50 clay soil and cocopeat in a 12 inch clay pot.
    Have sowed multiple pothos cuttings and some are growing but at slow pace.
    How to make the soil well drain ? Any solution ( I cant repot)

      Sir, seaweed fertilizer provides sufficient amount of trace elements.
      So we can use it and it will help.
      And if already using vermi compost and neem khali then please maintain gap atleast 10 days between each application.

      My Golden pothos new leaves are suffering from leave curl issue, I don't know how to fix this problem,

      Sir, in pothos it generally happen due to watering problem.
      But as you have mentioned that watering is OK then please check for any pest attack or light condition.
      If leaves are curling upward then it may be due to dehydrating environment.
