Today only I went to the terrace to see my plants OMG I can't believe to my eyes all my potted plants are good and no matter logging in pots
I used only light weight soil (soil less )suggested by U pots soil looks as if I have reported them recently drainage is too good In that soil great sir

Great video. Coco peat alters ph no matter how much you adjust the ph of your water/ feed solution. So some lime would help to keep the medium.close to a neutral ph wich is 7. This will make sure the beneficial bacteria can continue the symbiotic relationship with the roots. Great information as always. Thank you.

Sorry Dr Saab instead water I wrote matter it's ok no problem
My potted plants in ground are good but some plants shredded their leaves it's only a minor thing these pots I used Universal potting mix it's wet but no stagnation of water no loss in my garden iam Very Very happy I made Universal potting mix ,+, soil less mix +mix for Adeniums and sacculants cactus each. 50 to 100 kg no worry for me (Dr Saab irukkirar bhayamenna,) Regarding the sprays and fertilizers mine is only 3,point policy 1--once in a week
    2--once in ,15 days
    3---once In a month

My roots rot and the soil smells terrible, like rot. I am trying to dig out some of the soil and want to replace with one of your recipes. I see you have a few different ones. For replanting the rose bushes what one of the recipes do you recommend. I think I should add sand because as I mentioned my ground does not drain well at all. so frustrating!

Also for roof top gardening the suggestion is for cocopeat 50%, compost 30%, perlite 20%. I've created my potting mix using cocopeat 30%, vermicompost 30% and perlite 30%. Also I've made nine holes of 6mm diameter. I'm not putting any stones or gravel at the pot's bottom. Still I'm seeing that the potting mix is holding a lot of water. If I squeeze the potting mix with my hand water starts dripping from it even after an hour. I think this is too much of water. Can this result in root rot ? What alterations can I do to make a well draining but water retaining potting mix ?

My main challenge in growing seedlings is Fungus and small ants. They just kill the plant and its so disappointing. All my efforts go down the drain. So someone told me that my potting mix was not correct. I used red soil 60%, cocopeat 30%, 5% vermi and 5% neem cake powder. No sand. Within a few days ants and fungus would come and if the plant germinated, it would die in a few days. I have tried mixing Turmeric, cinnamon powder but it hasn't helped. Hopefully with good fine sand, I will have less fungus. I don't want to use chemical pesticides yet. It will be the last resort.
