    An initial reading of dissolved solids needs to be taken of your water first to determine a baseline. Clear water can contain a high solids content

    Thank You very much bro, I heard that we can use direct Coco coir in the bottom of the pot and then put soil mix on it, so m I suppose to wash Coco coir for usage. Also as I'm planning for succulents I brought construction sand some says use directly and some says that wash it nicely and then use it. Kindly guide for above 2 queries

    Hi sir,
    Thanks for the awesome video. I have a query around recycling green coconut.
    We are a family of 5 who have green coconut water each day, so 5 green coconut shells go to waste from our household each day. I do not like recyclable material like coconut shell going to landfill and want to use it in my garden. I have tried composting coconut shells but they take so much time that it doesnt make sense as I can use that space in my compost bin for vegetable waste.
    Is there a way to use these green coconut shells?
    Thanks again for your replies on comments and the awesome videos.

      Thank for your feedback.
      I’m plant to grow ginger with cocopeat by using dripping fertigation system. On your video information, it’s not recommend to use cocopeat directly growing plants. It need to wash cocopeat for few times to remove the salt level. Is it any calculation on these method, i.e. 10kg cocopeat, need to use 1 litre of water to wash? Or can I rinse the cocopeat for 15 minutes, then test on the water ppm?
      On which ppm level is good to grow or ginger? Do I need to check on the EC value of the water as well?
      I’m really appreciate your information. Thanks.

    • @organicgardening
      @organicgardening  3 роки тому +1

      Dear@@keiyeanliang5410 ,
      Thank you for kind information.
      If we will wash cocopeat more then one or two time with this method then it's PPM value would be automatically come between 150 to 200 TDS.
      So we can skip other things.
      - For ginger or all Vegetables if TDS value is below 200 is best. And letter we can control it by adding nutrients.
      - ginger also can be easily grow in this value but we need to add other nutrients as per plant growing stages and it may be between 300 to 900 for good growth.
      Thank you
