I’m always amazed at what you have found at thrift stores. Our thrift stores here are just overpriced junk. I’m always hoping to find something that’s remotely close to your finds and yet it’s never anything even close. Your dupes are amazing!
Same here in Miami nothing especial and highly priced check during and after Christmas time ,after new year this is time I usually find few good things
Tasha ... you did such a great job upcycling items to match your inspiration pieces!! That was an amazing upcycle using the branches!! I am fairly new to your channel & I look forward to your new videos when they come out ... thank you so much for the inspiration!!!
It was tricky but I just used hot glue and e6000 on the bottom and placed them holding them as leveled as I could while the hot glue dried. Thankfully that's fast, so I only had to hold it steady for a minute or so. Then I waited for the e6000 to dry completely also before moving the base around.
@@katherinekavouris9847Well I first attached only two together. I held all three up to test how they should fit together, then just let go of one so I was only working with the first two. I dabbed hot glue where those two intersected. Then I went around the area with e6000 also. After glueing those two together I laid them down horizontally to dry. Then I did the same thing again when attaching the third one to them the next day. It would have been easier if my husband was there to help hold for me!
This is the first videos of yours I’ve seen… these finds are amazing. It’s almost as though someone placed these things specifically for you to find. I’m never this lucky lol. You’ve definitely earned a new subscriber !! Thanks❤
Hi! New friend here! Amazing job with the placemats, napkins and branches with tealight candle holders! 💜 Small world, I spent 18 years living near Raleigh. 😊
Fantastic, so glad to have you here :) Thank you! I have "met" several folks on youtube who are or were from this area--so interesting. Thanks very much for watching!
Recent subscriber here. I’m always happy to watch your videos for inspiration and I can’t wait to try many of your idea for home decorating in the new year. Thank you for posting.
I just got one of their catalogues in the mail. I have never bought such expensive products. I don't know who they bought my address from but they guessed way wrong. Your pieces are spot on. Great work. I'm subscribing. Don't want to miss any of your videos. Thanks,
I go by TASHA as well,I Love all if your content and have been binge watching your previous videos, they are do inspiring to say the least, please keep up the good work...I'm here for it😊
Thanks! Oh good idea, that would work. Since I was using real candles I made sure none of them lined up vertically with a branch above--each is placed so it sends the heat straight up into just air--yet another reason this project took me a while to lay out haha :)-
Great idea on the placements however, I would suggest prior to removing the threads that you see a boarder around them to stop them from frame more during the wash.
Hi, I'm a new sub and I think I will really enjoy your videos. You really scored on the glasses and I love how you turned a curtain into place mats; so clever! The stick candle holder turned out Amazing!!
Hi just found you and this video really impressed. The tea light stick holder dupe turned out so well. I live on 10 acres and I really think I might have to see what branches I have out there for that one. And after you cut the fabric placemats, I loved your idea of cutting the remnants into strips to have ready for tying up a gift - great idea. The teak bowl was gorgeous too! Thanks
Wow, you did it on all of them. What are the chances of finding Magnolias like those at the thrift store and you really did it on the branch candle holder. Totally awesome on all of your crafts. Wow :)))))

Hi I absolutely adore your dupes and your talent for creating them what a gift!! I'm wondering about the branch candelabra. Could your lovely dupe not handle 5 small glass votive holders?
Thank you! I later did a simple straight stitch around the perimeter just a tad inside that frayed edge 😊 I've also made several sets of frayed napkins and I do that each time.
I've been all over the triangle but mostly in Durham now. I always found that Cary / Apex had the best stuff generally but it's a bit far for me now. I still find plenty of treasures in Durham but I also go very regularly which helps. 🙂 Hope you find some treasures soon!
I usually don't clean them other than dusting them or wiping them off, and then I use my steamer mainly for fluffing. But that also sterilizes of course so that's a wonderful idea!
Ok. Let’s just be honest….your dupes are BETTER than the expensive inspos…. Truly. Come to my house. I need your help! ❤
Aww thanks so much, I really appreciate it. Thanks for watching ☺️
Come to my house. I have homemade cookies 😁❤
@@debbymodd4579 😁😂
@@debbymodd4579 LOL, you make a good argument!
I came back to watch again because I really love Arhaus. They're quality and designs are just so classic.
Oh man yes they have some beautiful things!
You really opened my mind up when you used the curtain for making placemats! Now I know to open my eyes further to look for possibilities.
Yay that's great 😃. I think curtain panels and tablecloths etc at Goodwill are some of the most overlooked sources of cheap fabric around!
I couldn't agree more!
I am repeatedly blown away by what you find and diy. Your dupes are amazing. This is my favorite type of UA-cam. Thank you!!
Yay! Thank you. So glad you're here 😊

Man, that's got to be so disappointing, I'm sorry to hear that 😭 But thank you for the kind words and for watching!

You truly do such a beautiful job on all of your projects. I like many of your dupes better than the originals!

Your candle holder far surpasses that metal one! It's much more organic and lovely! Great job on all your dupes!
Oh thank you! I really appreciate it ☺️
They were all fantastic, but the branch tea light holder was the best one of all! Incredible!
Thanks so much! 😊
The branches used with tealights is beautifully done!
Branches with tea lights is beaUtifullll!!!

Ok. I'm REALLY impressed with your stick candle holder. I mean, wow!
I love it too! Thanks very much ☺️
Oh my goodness, you are SO creative! 😊
Aw, thank you! Cheers 😊
I enjoyed your dupes, but I would have loved to see how you attached the can lids securely while also keeping them level.
It was tricky but I just used hot glue and e6000 on the bottom and placed them holding them as leveled as I could while the hot glue dried. Thankfully that's fast, so I only had to hold it steady for a minute or so. Then I waited for the e6000 to dry completely also before moving the base around.
Also how did you get the tree branches to firmly stay upright?

Your ideas are fantastic. How did you keep the placemats from continuing to fray?
Thank you! I later did a simple straight stitch around the perimeter just a tad inside that frayed edge 😊 I've also made several sets of frayed napkins and I do that each time.

Do you / how do you clean faux florals and greenery from thrifting? I was thinking of using my steamer?
I usually don't clean them other than dusting them or wiping them off, and then I use my steamer mainly for fluffing. But that also sterilizes of course so that's a wonderful idea!
