Thanks for watching Tool Live FULL CONCERT 4K from the PIT Powertrip 2023
The sound is incredible! Thanks so much for posting this. Won't be able to see them on this tour; I'll gladly take the next best thing 🙏💙
Thanks!

Audio is on point! Sounds Amazing
Totally agreed sir!
Imagine for a moment seeing Tool live at The Sphere in Las Vegas. That would be an unforgettable experience.
They have to do that!
Imagine those prices 😳
I saw the U2 show at the Sphere. Tool would be great there for sure!
Better fuckin happen
@@k7climbingThey’d be a better show than overrated U2.
Hope everyone there realized how incredibly lucky they were to see Rosetta Stoned live. Wow!
Saw em play it in sLc.
They played it this past saturday in Charleston, WV. It was awesome.
yeah they play it everynight it seems. and almost identical setlists
I saw em on the 10k days tour and I'm pretty sure they played it every time.
@@HugoStiglitz88 but that was years ago lol!
justins tone is just massive. hearing his bass lines was what got me into tool back in the day.
Best part of the band for me
I've never seen Tool. This is probably the 3rd time I've watched them in a day on UA-cam.
I'm a new fan!
Yeah, that bass!!!
Yeah, those drums!!!
Yeah, that FN guitar!!!
Yeah, his vocals !!!
I hope I get to see them.
Justin and Danny really kill it live. Absolutely mesmerizing.
Very True, each is such an integral part though. Take one away and they are not Tool. All are masters of their craft
Love gramps bass
Danny carey has got to be one of the most technical precise drummers i have ever listened to, one of the best all time drummers in my opinion hands down !!!
He's Neil peart level
@@LiveRockMusic that is the biggest debate on drummers, Carey or Pearth. I vote Carey and do not take anything from Pearth and his capabilities. Different times, different music. I am sure Danny Carey would be humble and say he looked up too Pearth and was his drumming idol if asked.
Pert not Pearth. Auto correct is ridiculous. Danny Carey is the drummer and the anchor of each song they build.
Peart not Pert.
Haven’t you ever heard of a guy named Lars Ulrich 😅
It’s hard to find bands that sound better in a concert than in an album, but there is Tool. Their concerts are out of this world. 🔥🔥🔥
Agreed!
Gojira is amazing live too.
There’s a band called Amenra that’s brutal and vulnerable that’s well known for having good live performances. They’ve been playing for years and the band plays their music as if it was new each and every show. I suggest “a solitary reign” (beautiful song) and “ritual” (one of the most intense song I’ve ever heard). Have a good day 🥦 remember to eat your veggies.
@@III-db2zz thanks for the recommendation! I’ll listen to them right now! Have a great night, and eat plenty of veggies too! 🥗
Primus would be a good example of a band who have both great studio and live sessions. I was lucky enough to see Primus live with Danny Carey as a guest drummer. They did a cover of Moby Dick with both drummers trading off in an epic drum battle as well as combining to play in perfect unison. They started the 2nd half of the set with both drummers doing a cover of Hot for Teacher.
3:12 Jambi
11:27 the pot
20:36 Rosetta stoned

52:40 the grudge
1:01:35 invincible
1:14:33 stinkfist
1:19:37 Swamp Song
1:25:32 Ænema
46&2 should have started at 46:20!!
Thanks
What a setlist!!!

I wonder why no Sober?
TOOL is legit one of a kind and up there among the best. For many they are the best. In my personal opinion they are the best band I've ever listened to. Each of them are true talents and actual artists. The fact that they've managed to recognize that they are better together and figure it out along the way is inspirational. It's insane the longevity they've had.
I can't wait for the new album!
I'm 35 and the list of bands and artists i've liked have been many, some stuck around in my rotation while others I grew out of. All this time, there are two bands that have been the pinnacle of music to me since my teen years, still frequently listening and sometimes even learning something new as I've aged. TOOL is obviously one, the other is more solo but plays with a band live, Nine Inch Nails.
At this point in my life, I'm sure I will go to my grave saying that these two groups are the most influential of the past few decades. There are of course some contenders, many of which I love like Radiohead, but TOOL and nin are top shelf.
They certainly take their time making albums...that's probably why they've lasted so long...and why every album is so unique.
@@TheFos88did you see the fundraiser concert they did with Primus? Danny Carey and the Primus drummer have a drum battle in the middle of the show..epic
You're creating a great second hand experience for the long time tool fans! Thanks!
Dan's drums sound so clear and powerful
Man, after putting on some headphones instead of listening through my phone speakers i am impressed with your phone's ability to capture the sound so well. And the video is top notch.
I use a Shure condenser microphone😎. It's amazing in headphones or a great home theater
Just did the same thing. Sounds so fucking amazing man...
Listening on Beyerdynamic DT 1990 Pro and the sound is exceptional!!

Rosetta Stoned is my favorite Tool song!
Great song!
Banger after banger after banger, what a set, what a recording! Thanks for sharing this!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Extraordinary performance. Brilliant sound and camera work, thanks for posting this for us!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you so much for recording this! It looks and sounds amazing coming through my home theater system. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
The sound came out great! I use a Shure mic
We need a Tool concert at the Sphere in Las Vegas.
No kidding it's the perfect venue
to kick off the apocalypses? epic!
We need a new album
I saw tool last night Nov 6th in Rochester NY and it was PHENOMENAL and you hardly saw one cellphone out. People danced and enjoyed the music. The sound at the show was phenomenal and 24 hours later my ears are still ringing. Pneuma was phenomenal.
in fact i don't understant how is possible so many people with their phone recording the performance
@@sam_music555 I don’t get it either. I want them memories myself and not likes on FB. Show was amazing
Probably the best quality video of tool on youtube. Sonically and visually this is amazing. Thanks a ton!
This sound quality is amazing. I can't thank you enough for sharing this
Glad you enjoy it!
The best live band ever period!
when i first started watching this video i was concerned because Jambi is a very vocally intense song, and I know Maynard has been having trouble screaming like he used to. and holy crap he sounds amazing. made me tear up.
I saw them a couple weeks ago and he was in TOP form, unbelievable! Pushit makes me cry every time!!
I was there and was wondering how his screams would be. 2nd song The Pot, that little scream was perfect and I was like well he's 100%. Amazing performance by all 4 of them. I'll never forget it
You can tell he isn't how he used to be, not to take anything away from the guy, it's still incredible especially considering hes in his late 50's but definitely at a noticeable level of mileage
The last 3 shows the stopped playing "The Pot" I assume for voice reasons. His voice broke in Milwaukee
dude me to I got all emotional and shit no other band causes me to actually get emotional
All the bands at this show are solid. Hopefully Powertrip becomes annual. Southern California needs a good hard rock festival again.
Looking forward to the next one but what lineup? How do you top this? Rush? Zeppelin?
@LiveRockMusic who says u have to top it
More like central California needs. Instead, it's dead around here
Gnr had issues. Like axel. Acdc rocked for almost 4 hours straight. Maiden was fucking incredible. Judas priest was great and metallica never disappoints
Literally seeing Tool for the second time in two months tomorrow 🥰 the love is real! Gotta listen to the live videos to get myself ready 🤘🏻wish I could’ve been there for this one !
Thank you for posting this! Awesome quality video and sound! I can't wait to see them 1/13 in NYC! This will be my 5th time seeing them and they never disappoint! Best band ever!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Given how good this sounds in my living room, the audio and acoustical quality achieved by this festival must have been an all-time experience. I’ve seen some absolutely incredible acts on this stage at Coachella over the years and nothing has come close to the quality of sound they deliver. So happy (but jealous) for everyone that got to be there.
Couldn't agree more!
Just found out after seeing Wutang Clan that tool is performing on Friday at the Tacoma dome. Am gonna try and get out of a previous plan to go see them cause tool has been very monumental for me these past 6 years when I first found their 46 and 2 song and free fell in love with their music ever since. That's awesome.
The crowd was so lame though, they should have all popped their anti-depressants before going to the show. 90% of them were just standing there like zombies not moving a muscle.
I can't overstate how good they sounded there. It has to be experienced in person
I was in that crowd just to the right of the camera person, an insanely EPIC performance 🤘😎🤘
Nice!!!
Walk way madness. Thanks for taking the time. Glad they’re comin to Phoenix soon
I helped set up their show in Portland with a crew of 120 from the union. That star looking thing was in two pieces off a truck and is just a really heavy metal piece that looks almost aluminum, and has lights projected on to it. We flew the truss, mounted the lighting, built the LED video wall, set up all the infrastructure. It is like a small city in rapid motion. Like ants we had it all up in a matter of hours. We were not allowed to see the show or look at Maynard. When they were live, we were sent on a walk away, and when we returned for the tear down we had to go into a side room to await instructions for tear down. We were instructed to stay in our area, and if Maynard came through to look down. He does not like crew looking at him or talking to him. I just did what I was told, had no idea what the thing looked like when it was done, so thanks for posting the video. Interesting to see it all going live...
Thanks for the awesome back story!!
Yeah, Maynard has his quirks...it drives him crazy when people's lights are on when recording the last song( the only song he allows) other than festivals....
You did an amzing job recording this. I feel like I'm there already. I cant wait to see them on tour when they get to my city. Thank you for sharing so I know what I have to look forward to seeing.
I hope so too!
Best Maynard performance since 2006...
The visual experience goes hand in hand with the majestic musical performance of 4 simple individuals ...makes you go away mentally to places that you have never imagined existed and put you through feelings of anger nostalgia depression anxiety and freedom ..all at the same time .. Wish i could go someday to a TOOL concert ..meanwhile this is the closest i´ve been ...THX !!!!!
Appreciate this. They’re not coming anywhere near me soon, so this is great. Wow, chills!
I was there and this 3 day concert was so fun and met some of the coolest people
me too lots from other countries
Good job on this recording...giving me chills and I'm only on Jambi! Epic. Tool is the GOAT.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Another great video, Mr. Perry! Thank you so much! 🤘🤘🤘

One of the best concerts of all time i saw in Albuquerque 💯
My nephew just got me tix to Tool at the end of January! Xmas/BDay gift! I am so so excited!! 🤘

Lucky!!
This whole performance is beyond fucking amazing. Maynard's vocals on Pushit are just perfection!
He did his best!

I just got back from their concert tonight. Absolutely stunning. Amazing to FEEL Danny's drumming go through your body when you hear them live. Walked in my house and pulled this video of their concert that you posted. Thanks for this! Now I'm reliving it.

I'll finally hit big number 10 on january 23rd. I saw them for the first time on September 8th, 2001 and it completely saw concerts.
Nice!!
The drop right after Justin’s solo gives me fucking chills every time.

Thanks for posting. I saw my first tool concert two days ago in Knoxville and they knocked me out. This sounds great and I had to put the headphones on.
thank you for recording this!!! can't wait to see them in denver!!!
Our pleasure!
Saw them last night in Spokane. Absolutely incredible night. Maynard has awesome vocals. Danny is such a spot on drummer/percussionist. Adam, what can I say, you are a genius, and with your creativity. Blows my mind. Justin is a great bassist, all those great riffs. But I do miss Paul. And not just because he's a fellow Spokanite. Paul playing bass is what got me hooked on Tool.
Saw them last month at Louder Than Life in Louisville. I tried to film a few clips, but just couldn't stand not watching the show without having to worry about it. You have some great footage here. Thanks, man. Really. You guys got swamp song? Nice.
Like a fine wine, getting better with age. Amazing show!
just amazing job getting video and audio. thanks for posting ! spiral out …
WOW!! Thank you for this!
another one for my archive XD
It is truly the best time for fan made footage ever! This is incredible, I was really close to the front at Aftershock, but your zoom lens still gets a better view of Justin than I had XD
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you, Scott!!

All i can say is I've been tooled that was my concert experience 🤘🤘
I love TOOL!🤦🏻♂️ from the first time I heard them back in 92, I was hooked and done. from that point I found my band. 😎
