Lifting the 49 Chevy body off the chassis

- I'm finally lifting the 49 Chevy body off the chassis after a lot of planning and preparing. I had to plan out a body cradle to set the old girl on, I built a heavy duty wood table out of 4x4's and 4x6's and lag bolted it together. I ran two heavy steel beams across the span of the table to support the rocker area of the 49 Chevy. I'll be welding the rockers to the steel beams so it can't slide off and keep the support straps hooked up for back up safety. I plan on being under the heavy body doing a lot of work and the last thing I want is to worry about the car falling on me. I can roll the chassis out from under the support table to work on and roll it back under when I'm not working on it for more garage space. If you guys have any questions on how I built the support table just ask, it was pretty basic so I didn't want to bore you with video of it. With the 49 Chevy body off the chassis I can start cleaning it up and get ready to install the 3 link from Murray Kustom Rods which I'll be ordering very soon.
