"The Richest Man in Babylon" is an exceptional book. Is a must have for fundamental financial planning.

I have started doing that “pay yourself first.” I set aside 10% of my income every month into savings, first and foremost, no matter what, and vow not to touch it except in dire emergency. That suit which looks good in the window of the store is not an emergency.

Exactly, I agree! In spite of the pandemic I have about 130k in my investment account and $3000 at least every month as dividends and profits generally. I’m 26 years old. Started working at age of 20 and i always liked to save. Now I have a 401k, Paid my car in full, saving accounts, and 2 investments accounts as well. Still working as an agent/realtor making around 90k-100K a year

@@kookibreze6834 a lot of savings, but it comes with a cost. Not going to parties, working 6 days a week. Having 2-3 friends. Also working holidays as well. But most importantly consulting with an expert. I see my self doing good in the long term working with a financial adviser, I was assigned working with Merrill Lynch, well licensed with proof. Now is not go time to lose money 💪🏼

completely disagree with most points made in this video. the more you earn, the more you will be paying in tax to the point where all those extra hours worked will be wasted as all the money made will all go towards income tax. if you buy your own house, you will need to pay extra taxes and repairs as well as the massive investment of your hard earned money which will sit there in the property.
governments have levied taxes on every aspect of your life to the point where your income has completely vanished and you are unable to save anything

The problem with guarding your assets against loss - stay away from risky investments etc - is that the poor and working class “poverty lovers (as I like to call them)” see and call every opportunity, even simple investing, as “that pyramid scheme stuff, whatever it is haha.”

Doable tips of becoming the top 1% from the bottom without being a CEO.
If my grandparents earn 80k after-tax a year. They would be able to save at least 77k includes house tax, utility, and food. (no cars, ride a bike most of the time.)
Being rich is a habit that you find joy living it. I know this is extreme but it is possible if it is important enough for you.
