      The more I learn about how money, credit, passive income and debit actually play a role in the security, stability and growth of the current cash I receive presently.
      Strategies to fund saving through passive income streams is very important while I'm learning at 61 yrs old to really educate myself since I don't have a retirement nest.
      You're a wonderful blessing thank you

    I budget, automate my savings, and invest into retirement(Roth & 401k) each paycheck from my emergency fund to some of my sinking funds and that is part of my motivation in my financial journey so I can have a peace of mind in the future when I’m older.

      You could place a savings in a ETF. Since it takes 3 days to get there and takes 3 days to transfer back out. I know it may not make a lot of since for emergency funding but what’s the point of an emergency fund if it’s used for everything that’s not an emergency fund. You could let the etf grow to $1,000 take it out in liquid cash the start building another $1,000 in the etf. And every $1,000 you make in the ETF reward yourself.

    How to stay motivated is to believe and know that you can and you will reach your goals. To know that you have power to change your life your future and don't give power to society. Your future is just in your hands so be motivated by yourself. Be healthy and be smart if your thoughts you can do it until you will believe it.

    How do I break my bad saving habits I am frustrated with myself.

    • @insightfulmind958
      @insightfulmind958 2 роки тому +1

      I think say you want to save 1000 dollars by the end of the year, create a separate account for it and work bad wards. So you can break it down a minimum amount you're to save a month to achieve that goal. Say 10 dollars a month,to make it realistic . Save the moment you recieved your money not after when all your bills or splurges have taken a huge chunk

    I make a challenge with myself I get paid every week I worked for 2 months to have have 1 month of payroll saved.. now the challenge I'll take 1 paycheck and I create that mindset that, that is all I have for the month. creating that stress and tricking my mind to believe That's all the money I have. I also did away with online access so I can't login and see my balance or call to check my balance. If I still have part of my first paycheck by the time the second paycheck comes I can't touch it then the 3rd and the 1st and I do this every month Last year I tried this. Learned how to go cheaper and cut things out I would normally buy. I was able to save $32,000 last year. now it's almost 2023 and I have not checked my bank at all I know I have enough for bills so the automatically come out. I'm still living off 1 paycheck a month. January 1st Checking my balance then won't check it until 2024

      It's a LOT easer to save money when you don't see your balance. You know you have bill coming out so you don't wanna overspend to be able to pay your bills..... This I have found to work extremely well...

      ohh I go onto adp and see how much my paycheck is and that is what I withdraw from the bank for the month.

      Really like how you have been intentional about saving and aware of what your money leaks are. You have a strategy that works. Keep at it and you will continue to make progress.
