Thank you for watching. The hole is from the shaft. I cement it closed later.

That rebar wire surely adds strength to hold up. Thanks for the enlightenment.

I made a concrete bird bath by using a round plastic trashcan lid. I placed a small bowl inside the middle then poured concrete around it. Then used rocks and concrete for the stand

Great video, may I ask what kind of sand you use or add to the sand so it shapes better, I have tried making these but my sand keeps falling apart I have plenty of water but it won't stay together. I use the play sand.

Holy Moly. You could be my twin. I did a double take when I first looked at this video. I haven’t had bangs in about 4 years but we definitely look alike. Great

I don't get how this is a bird bath with a hole where the pivot arm came through. It won't hold water.

I've read that you need to treat it before using it for birds. Like a wash of some sort to neutralize the chemical in concrete. Do you know what that is? Like vinegar or something?

I didn’t see where you placed the wire in? What kind of wire? I tried watching the video but seem to miss the actual wire placement part.

I use coat hanging wire and form a circle and just place it in the cement. Thank you for watching.

? I have my dad's old bird bath pedestal. No bowl. Looking for one. When I measure the top of the pedestal it has a round 8-inch circle to set a birdbath bowl on. Can't find one. They are standard 4-inch. What is that called underneath the birdbath bowl called? Thank you

Thank you for watching. That piece is part of the pivoting arm.

Great video! I have been "wanting" a large bird bowl and this looks easy enough to accomplish with little elbow grease..my only "meh" moment in the video was the cloth used to smooth the surface. I get it, but a small set of trowels could give a much smoother finish? Then again, think of the moss that can grow in the little nooks and crannies ❤❤! I havecseen a fella that took a cheap stainless finger finger guard for chopping veggies and he worked the edge of it upward just so slightly so it wouldn't gouge his medium, clay, and it seemed to have worked beautifully. Just a thought. Keep up the great videos!

Thank you for watching. I really enjoy making these videos. I used a soft scrubber using the plastic side. I get them from the dollar store.

Thats awesome work you're an artist. I would love to see a detailed video on your table. I'm wondering if my wife would notice the lazy susan missing off the table 😂😂

I reckon it’s to deep unless your having storks using it. When the water evaporates the smaller birds won’t be able to use it.

I thought the same, that it'd be too deep for small birds. But you never know she might stuff it with stones and what not to raise the bottom

The birdbath came out wonderful! I see you take your time and do everything right. It really shows in the final product. I didn’t take my time with the birdbath I just made, and it shows. 😉

Excellent video thank you for this great idea. One note is the white writing you put for a description should be red or blue or black. Couple times i couldnt read that pesky second word.

Thank you so much for the video, May I please ask what is that shaping tool called?
Is it available on Amazon? Or did you make it yourself?
    Thanks you :)
