      I want that 450SR. I want this 300ss too, I sat on one Saturday, I love the weight and looks. But here in Texas, everyone drives crazy around Dallas, and I don't think the 300ss has enough HP/Torque to get me past SUVs or Trucks at higher speeds. However, I am curious to how the 300ss responds to mods. For example, my last small motorcycle was a 2017 Hyosung GD250R. Weight reduction is key to small bikes. It responded very well to a exhaust swap, high flow filter, lighter battery, rear peg removal, front mirror swap. That dropped about 18 pounds. It was a little faster, handled better and the top speed improved. I topped it out at 113 mph, for a 250 that's pretty impressive. So the 300ss is near the same weight, with a little more power. I'm very curious how the 300ss responds to the same type of treatment.

    • @ROBSOLUTELY
      @ROBSOLUTELY  2 роки тому +2

      @@JimmyPtheman The 300SS is not really a fast bike, but it's decent. I can tell you that it feels fast, but then when you ride with someone that has a 1000cc and they zing past you like you are standing still, you realize it's just never going fly like that. Larger bikes can fly faster, but the 300SS is more than capable of highway speeds or faster if you really want to. I like the fun, gas gas mileage, initial low cost to purchase and low cost to insure mine. There's a lot of wins, with the only compromise that it's probably not going to go 150 MPH without some kind of crazy mods. The new 450 looks like it will be a big win for CFMOTO. That will be big competition for the Ninja 400 and Yamaha R3.

    One more day of MSF course here in Brooklyn, ny.. Was considering a triumph trident 660, but now realize that the CFMoto 300ss is the perfect bike for me since I'm a beginner! You just got yourself a new subscriber :) Keep making more vids of your amazing bike, can't wait to get mine.

    • @ROBSOLUTELY
      @ROBSOLUTELY  2 роки тому +1

      It's a great bike! Beginner and beyond! I am glad you are taking a MSF. I took mine about 3 years ago and I learned a lot. I'm not really a beginner anymore, however I also don't feel the need for a bigger bike. I ride with guy with 650s and 1000s. They can get to highway speeds faster than me and I know they can go well over 100 MPH with their bikes, but I'm satisfied sticking to lower speeds and going with traffic. My CFMOTO 300SS is perfect for that. It will still go and you could get in trouble speeding if you aren't careful with it. I truly love it. If you get one, I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine. Thank you for subscribing!!

    You know, I certainly think it looks amazing... As a matter of fact, tomorrow l will be hopefully cutting a deal with a trade in for a CFmoto gray/blk 300SR superbike !! This one is offered here in Europe Spain!! 6 years ago I moved out here from California in order to take care of my folks (they are at that age where they need help) so I sacrificed everything in good ol' California 😢 but I've always been into bikes so we'll see if I can get a deal cut tomorrow 😊
    I absolutely love the look of the 300SR superbike! I've always had big bikes but recently changed in what to ride... I'm done with going 250 kilometers per hour, I love the feeling of a smaller sporty bike especially out here in Europe! The roads were made for the bikers!
    The scenery, mountains, Twisties out here are just bliss!!😊 It's always nice to be ecstatic, excited about a new purchase on a bike.
    Take care, and safe riding!!

    Thanks for this info. My beginner bike was an 1100GL Interstate. I'm having hip problems as I'm getting older. I find I like the touring and cruiser bikes for looks but they really hurt my back and hips on longer than 45minute rides. A friend suggested going to a sport type of motorcycle as he found it easier on his back and hips. I also don't need huge cc's. So this 300 is on my radar as a contender. Only you can make the decision. I can tell you from my experience, that it's been a great bike. I'm happier with it every time I ride. I've been riding with groups over the past 2 weeks. Sure does get a lot of attention from everyone. Obviously, if you want a bike that flies, it's not going to keep up with a 1000cc or even a 650. I mean it'll go, but just not as quick as a bike with a larger engine. I've hit 3 digits on the highway with it. That's plenty fast for me.

    I have the 300nk from 2021,in the teal, see profile pic. And I LOVE my bike. I was unlucky and got a lemon straight up, so this is my second bike and I would still choose cfmoto over the other big names. Price, build quality, performance, body style and the comfort. On top of that this bike is a brilliant commuter. I don't own a car so rail hail or shine I ride and this bike is magic in the wet. It hugs the road and has very little spray. It even handles torrential rain with ease.
    Nelson-Riggs gear can fit and carry well on the pillion seat and the tank.
    When the 450SR comes to Australia I want one but because of price I can afford to keep my 300nk as a daily workhorse/commuter. 🤔 and a bit later if they create the 800MT Sport R then I will add one of those as well.

      We don't have the Keeway sport bikes in the USA yet. I believe they are the same by looks. I think Keeway USA only offers scooters and 302 V Twin in the USA.

      I don't really like to give the exact price, because every state has different sales tax and other fees. I will tell you that I only paid MSRP plus the required state fees, nothing more.

      YES. I'm about 200 and have no issues. It's never going to go as fast as a 650 or 1000cc, but for a 300, it has a good strong suspension and it'll get up to well over the speed limit if you want it too. I love the bike.

    The number one top reason not to: Chinese.

      To a point, however CFMOTO builds motors and parts for many other manufacturers, including KTM. In fact, CFMOTO owns KTM now. And there is the fact that most brands, no matter what country they are from, have Chinese parts in them. Heck even Buick vehicles are being made in China now. Wish everything was American made, but the only way to get that to happen is to clear the swamp in the US government. Keep in mind that CFMOTO does have a headquarters in the USA that employs a fair amount of USA workers, plus their US dealer support is very good.

    Chinese bikes are far away from the Japanese in terms of build quality. CF moto needs more stats before we can start comparing quality and reliability. Perhaps they can release the failure rates from transporting prisoners from Xingjang to labor camps as a start 😂

      I've owned 2 Kawasaki Ninjas, 2 Hondas and one KTM. I can tell you that CFMOTO is as good of quality as Kawasaki, and I think better than Honda. CFMOTO is the parent company of KTM. The bikes are built in the same factory as KTM Dukes.

      Speaking baseless lies in an arrogant and ignorant tone to cover up your inner discrimination and hatred? As an adult but without independent thinking, what American politicians say must be true, not political rhetoric used to suppress other countries? Too childish.

      I get what you are saying, but realize that Yamaha uses A LOT of CFMOTO parts, because they are parters. Most all machines bought today, have parts from China in them.
