With the ‘By the Sword’ belief introduced by the Religions Expanded mod, you need to take a city with a melee unit for it to trigger. It used to say that on the tooltip but one of the recent updates removed it for some reason.

South America is way too small in this map. In real life NA is 1.4 times bigger than SA. That is an Alaska difference (SA is bigger than NA without Alaska). In this map, SA is like 4 times smaller than NA and Alaska is not even present in the map. Rubbish.

The fishery is actually useful and can be combined very effectively with mausoleum
It's good! I find though it can often be negligable when you have a shipyard - similar sort of effect
yes it's most useful before shipyards. But don't discount the 0.5 housing either. Can be very handy.
