- In this game of Civ 6, we’ll be playing as Tokugawa’s Japan, and we’ve finally arrived at that wonderful time - it’s the 40k sub special!!!
ALL 50 civilizations on one massive true start location earth. We’re playing Tokugawa, and we’ll be abiding to a strict home island policy - we’re staying put and not letting anyone in!
I mean, that doesn’t mean we need to behave ourselves though… We’re playing also with the CYP wide and tall mod to boost the yields of struggling ai, and we’ll also be playing with Fuzzle’s brigand court secret society to allow us to do some entertaining pillaging across the world! This game will be amazing!

I've been saying that since i subbed to him when he had around 3 or 4k. His work ethic and creativity is by far the best for any civ UA-camr, and up there among the best for gaming period.

The other way to level your aircraft carriers is to save the great admirals who give promotions from early in the game and use them on the carriers late!

Think about it: Island nation under a constitutional monarchy, which has had significant conflict with its much-larger continental counterpart, which itself had a republican revolution relatively recently. Obviously, there are differences, but there are also parallels nonetheless.

(18:51) In my experience, resources icons aren't displayed if there was formerly a district built/under construction on them (city centres included). In this case, Kupe was building a water park on the oil tile prior to you capturing it.

Game suggestion: Civ of your choice (or random), domination victory, but you are only allowed one unit of each type ever. So 1 warrior, 1 slinger, 1 archer, etc. to 1 giant death robot. If the 1 unit dies, you cannot replace it. So if your archer dies, you can't build another archer. Corps and Armies are allowed as long as they are built using encampments/harbors. I think it would be fun to watch how you would use the most diverse army ever.

watching you now I remeber in my playthrough whilst playing along I had this rediciolous situation where foreign spies were massing in my cities and performaning all kind of actions.
Almost every turn I killed at least a single enemy spy. I myself had five own spies placed into the city to counterspy. Most popular was the neutralize govoner mission, but breach Dam or insurgence were popular as well.
During one instance I believe a spy successfully killed Pingala in Tokyo. I immediately transfered Liang from Kyoto to Tokyo but before Liang was established she was killed as well. Which is a real nuisance with the tall mod where you need these govoners for cities to thrive. In hindside I also played this kind of stupid, but I was never before under such a spy bombardment like in that game.

Great game! Always fun to build a semi-useful Golden Gate. And I can't even imagine the frustration of India being pillaged every turn for like 150 turns. Did we ever get a Samurai?

Nope, he hovered over the upgrade to one from a warrior for a brief moment. That was as close as we got to it. Ultimately wasn't even necessary for the era score.
I cant imagine your computer trying to power this game lmao. My little nintendo switch absolutely struggles just on a 6 player game!

You should play a similar game where you have a core region that you build tall, but then go out into the world and raze as many cities as possible (maybe use the historical start dates mod and bull moose teddy and role play returning the world to it's natural state?)
I'm very tempted to give something like this a go!
As long you Replay tsl but with that religion modifier, you MUST play as Steam Vicky with production pantheon.. You have to beat earliest record of that snowy city 🤣🤣
(Admittedly, if I remember correctly, your records was Mongolian with all that trade routes giving you like 2k production, don't you?)
