Hello friend :) Yeah those are kind of wierd setup. the hydro are actually mounted backwards compared to regular zero turns. So forward is actually reverse. And more aggressive tires with fluid in them will help in the traction department, lol. Thanks again for sharing your projects, take care. Darrell :)
That’s interesting! I didn’t know that. I have two of them that are similar. You are right that they aren’t very common… unfortunately, I don’t think they are worth as much as other brands either
Hello how are you doing today hope all is well but my Question is do have body parts for one of these mower are do you know where I can get one if so please let me know thanks man.
I don’t have any for sale right now. I think your best bet is to buy a non running one with good plastics. Maybe check eBay and see if anything is on there. I have another brand of more that looks like it has the same rear plastic piece, but I haven’t confirmed that it is the same.
Any chance you can show where the choke cable connects to? Bought this mower last year and finally got it running, but it was missing a lot of parts and I'm a novice at this stuff and can't figure out how to connect the choke
The choke cable should run to a little metal bracket that is on the underside of the plastic intake manifold. The bracket assembly has a rod that goes to the carburetor to actuate the choke butterfly.
Where in Oklahoma are you located? I'm in Gainesville Texas and want to meet you and pick your brain on things. I'm rebuilding a Toro z5000 zero turn and might want some parts.
I’m not sure…that’s probably a pretty expensive part to get new. I think Craftsman could have done better on there design for these mowers - the plastic can crack too easily. You might be better off fabing something up.
I’m shocked at the major brands that are now just junk period It’s a shame America has failed so badly in pride and respect to ward the population here
Hey is there any chance you still have this mower? I got one in my shop and it's been 2 months, I cannot figure this thing out. Would love to chat with you about it thanks
@@garagestory It's going to be a long story but at the end of the day there's something going on with the electrical. In order to start the machine I have to disconnect one of the safety sensors on the control lever. But the moment I pull the PTO switch it immediately kills the engine. The other safety switches have been replaced, bypassed. I've actually put a new harness in as well and still same exact issue
Hmmm, those kinds of issues are a pain! This is probably over my head to try to help remotely. But you can drive it around fine, it’s just when you turn on the PTO that it kills it?
@@garagestory If you get a chance and you feel like hearing the rest of the story. Feel free to reach out. I own and operate JC's small engine repair. Very fluent in working on these things but this one has really got me stumped. Look up JC's small engine repair in Knoxville Tennessee. Give me a holler anytime. Thanks
@@garagestory to answer the question more directly. Yes it dies the moment I engage the PTO switch. Now with that being said I have an OEM new PTO switch, ignition switch, and PTO. I'll installed absolutely no difference
Looking good I like your enthusiasm and hustle Hope you keep doing well
Thank you!
Like it! Great project!
Thanks!

Interesting! I didn’t know that.
Thanks for watching!
I have a ZTS-6000 and would love to see you change the hydro transmission fluid on one of these.
😬that’s outside of my normal scope… maybe in the future!
Not bad for 100 bucks.
Fire video
This is strange and rare mower they weren't too common back when these came out and after digging around on the husqvarna actually made these.

Hey man I just got the same one and it tarts and runs but it’s shaky and jumps when ever I try and move

@@garagestory Hmm..ok sounds like I'm missing more parts than I thought. I'll have to try and find a diagram. Thanks for the info!
No problem!

Where can I get a Craftsman ZTS6000? Actually looking for the plastic fender which is called the seat deck plate. THANKS!

Have the same one. Why would mine bog when I engage the blades?
It might only be running on one cylinder.

Yes, I still have it. What’s got you stumped?

What’s the spray. Carburetor cleaner?
Yes, it’s carburetor cleaner for cleaning the carb, and I use a penetrating oil for lubing the gaskets.
Check the key switch
I do later on in the video. 😉
What did you end up selling the ZTS for?
I still have it….Hopefully we will find out this year!
Is that a LT2000 Craftsman?
The red one.
I believe it is, if I remember correctly.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍👍😁
Sell it to me
