Love the electrical diagnostic videos, it's definitely the part of small engine repair that I'm the least confident with. Nice to see this one running! Looks like a good mower that'll have some good resale value when it's finished.
When people don't know what they are doing with repairs, they just start rigging stuff, throwing parts at it, and making it worse. Get it running and sell it in March.
It is surprising sometimes - but I know I probably do stuff like that at times in areas that I don’t know much about… Yes, this should be a good one for selling in spring!
Yeah, you got the aftermath of somebody not really understanding how those safety switches work. It's usually always a safety switch bad when we have a no start condition. You did good though buddy
Could you please tell me where you found the relay switch on the Husqvarna that you look checked and found out it was bad and you had to replace where it's located
It’s under the right hand side panel. I accessed it by taking off the piece of plastic on the front, right behind where the handle bar when it’s in the out position.
How do i bypass the safety in the pto? I bypassed all the safeties in the brake and steering arms and can turn on the mower and drive just fine. When i engage the blades the mower shuts off.
The control arms on this one are messed up pretty good, they don’t want to go all the way out. I’m thinking to get some new parts and see if I can fix them.
What is really funny about this is I get that previous owner's frustration. Have a 3 year old Husqvarna zero turn and it cuts like a champ but the electrical system is garbage. Have had multiple switches go bad already which causes me to hot wire it straight to the solenoid. And now the seat switch is acting up, where I need pressure on it even if the other conditions should not require it, like when performing the aforementioned hot wiring. Needless to say I will never buy another Husqvarna mower product.
Oh, yes, I certainly don’t fault the previous owner for trying to fix his mower to the best of his ability/time. However, in general, I think Husqvarna is one of the better offerings at the price point for tractor style lawn mowers. I’m not a huge fan of the Husqvarna zero turns yet…
@@garagestory sweet! Darn I was hoping to buy a mower off of you.😂 how are you able to find free mowers?? Cause I’m learning myself for now cleaning carburetors and things.
Lol! Well, a couple of things: free mowers don’t happen every day, but to find them, it’s mostly about getting word out that you’re interested. You might check with family and friends and see if anyone has an old mower sitting around or maybe they know someone who does.
this young man is the best, thanks Lewis

It’s been awhile! That was a fun video getting it and the Kubota

Thanks! This one turned out to be a relay that had gone bad. Not something I see every day!
I'm betting that the seat safety switch is the answer

@@garagestory ok Great Thank you! Love the channel keep doing what your doing!!
theres a handle on the left side ,,, on and off ... must be off position to start ,, then push down to make the mower work
This one doesn’t have that. The only thing on the left side is the deck height, and, of course, left steering bar
