Hello again Angela. I watched this lovely video yesterday whilst on my stationary bike for an hour. First workout in a while. Anyhow, even though I'm vegan, I loved your video as it showed a wonderful atmosphere in a market setting. In fact, it made me think back to your truly lovely video of the Kingston Market and river walk, something that's on our to do list...if mum and I ever get the time that is! What a lovely friendly atmosphere in this market, with lots of cheerful banter. And as you showed, a lot more going on in addition to cheese. Thank you for this and I look forward to continued viewing (and commenting) on your lovely cheerful channel. Ibrahim in Canterbury
Thank you Ibrahim, glad you enjoyed it, even if you can't indulge! I must say, I had hoped for a vegan cheese stall, but couldn't see one. There is a new Kingston video coming out soon; I thought I would catch the last proper hot week of summer, so filmed along Kingston Riverside and through to the market place, plus I managed a few cheeky shots of coffee and cake! All the best, Angela
Well I'm in a cheese coma now without even one morsel of cheese passing my lips! What an excellent market Angela, thanks for taking us along with you. I honestly could live on cheese and good bread for all meals throughout the day! I'm speaking to my son later today and I'll tell him what he missed in his neighbourhood yesterday haha Take care 😘 xx
Hello Debra. I also read your comments in Instagram. Glad to hear you enjoyed this video. I'm vegan but I still loved watching this to see the market as a whole. Ibrahim in Canterbury
I love that, cheese coma! And I'm with you, why can't the health experts tell us bread and cheese are better for us than avocados and spinach! I too could live on it. It's on the third Sunday of every month if your son wants to check it out. All the best, Angela
@@ChattyWalkswithAngela Whilst staying in Chiswick for a few days last December, I remember visiting a flower market on the High Road. It was lovely, and that was on a Sunday too! xx
Watching this whilst eating my customary breakfast of feta cheese wrapped in a freshly cooked flatbread. I love cheese too. Nice to see a good Cornish representation. Thanks for another nice video.
And might I say, the Cornish representation looked rather excellent! I love the sound of your brekky. May I ask which flatbread recipe you use. I have huge dietary issues and am always in search of recipes! Glad you liked the video, Angela
@@ChattyWalkswithAngela Hi Angela, I just mix up some flour and water; I put about 25% self raising flour to plain flour, mix it to a constancy like paint, and pour it into a frying pan lightly coated in oil. I fry it until the mix begins to solidify. You'll see it shrink in the pan. Then turn it over, turn the ring off, and by the time you've cut the feta up and put it on half the bread that side is sufficiently cooked too. I'm not a recipe cook: I just make food that I enjoy. I'm so used to making these that I do it without really thinking. I guess if you have food intolerances this won't be much good for you.
@@cornishhh Thank you, that is really helpful. I'm a sort-of, half-and-half, ish recipe cook - use a recipe for the general idea then mess around with it! I'll give it a go:) Thanks again, Angela
Hello Angela & greetings from Canterbury. I'm still playing catch up on your videos and to also comment on the actual content. Rest assured I will do so and that I am just as fully subscribed and interested in all your videos as ever. Mum and I have just been very busy lately. We were at London Excel for a home show on Saturday. Parked at O2 North Greenwich Peninsula to avoid the Blackwall Tunnel and took the cable car across, with great views. It actually always reminds me of Vancouver. Coming back we took the DLR and underground. Browsed around O2 Arena on the way home as well as window shopping at the nearby IKEA in North Greenwich. One of these days, I very much hope to visit the Greenwich Market, which as you know is in another area of Greenwich to O2. Yesterday Sunday we attended at a huge car show in Palm Bay Margate followed by a visit to a large garden centre...where Christmas decorations are all fully up! Anyhow, I will most certainly catch up on your videos and comment. We did actually watch your Chinatown video but I will rewatch in order for my comments to be fresh. You depicted the area in a lovely and inviting way. I recall you mentioned WW in one of your narrations, regarding gimbals. I'm very interested to get a gimbal myself actually. Not for making any YT videos but for all my outings and trips. BTW regarding Vancouver in winter: The climate over there is very similar to here in the UK and not at all like the rest of Canada that has a full blown winter. That's one big reason why I chose Vancouver as a place to live. It does rain a lot there and as such, often dubbed Raincouver! Neighbouring Washington State as well as Oregon which is south of Washington State, also have very similar climates. Having said that, once you start travelling east towards the mountains in British Columbia, Washington & Oregon, as well as further north in British Columbia, then yes, the winters are more severe there but not on the West Coast of the Pacific Northwest (PNW). Interestingly, Seattle actually has a series of restaurants aptly named Rain City Grill. I remember an episode of Frasier where he was complaining about the Seattle rain and said "Oh for goodness sakes dad, the State flower is mildew!". Anyhow, I look forward to catching up on your videos. I am actually vegan and as such, only eat vegan type cheese but I'm still very interested in your video. I heard part of your chatty walk whilst typing this, and it already bought a smile to my face hearing the cheerful way you say "Cheese!" Hope all is well with you and family. Talk soon.
Hey there Ibrahim and yes, I remember that episode of Frasier, it's the one where he is complaining about Seattle and upsets his listeners; it also features Eddie wearing a yellow raincoat! Sorry that the video is all about cheese and you're vegan! As a family, none of us can actually tolerate lactose, but I just can't resist cheese! For 16 years, Luke was a vegetarian who couldn't tolerate dairy! It's a great idea for you to record your experiences as you travel around to so many places. Gimbals are definitely helpful for steadying the camera, but do bring their own special challenges... I really fancy taking the cable car, and also Greenwich Market... So much to do! All the best, Angela
Hello Angela Watched your video in two parts as we begun the video before where leaving to go work. Sandra is craving cheese now. She always gets the mac and cheese at Byron's. Canadians eats more Mac and cheese per person then any other county. Sandra is looking forward for your next cheese video. Thanks and take. Chris and Sandra of Canada.
Hello there fellow Canucks! How goes it? I must be one of the few Canadians that doesn't eat cheese. I'd love to but I'm vegan. At least these days there are vegan cheese alternatives. Hope all is well with both of you. Mum and I are headed back to Vancouver in mid January. I just renewed my Canadian passport here in the UK. Pleasantly surprised it took just 14 calendar days! Anyhow, take care and speak soon! 🇨🇦🇨🇦
Now that is an excellent statistic! Canadians really are folk after my own heart. In the end, we bought the macaroni cheese from the Italian couple to eat when we got home, it was very good. I hope to livestream on Saturday 14 October from day one of the big cheese weekender at Borough Market, will need to do a practice run first. Are there any days or times you are available if I need guinea pigs on UA-cam? All the best, Angela
