- Scooter riders everywhere have this problem, but when will drivers realize that scooters are here to stay. They are faster, cheaper, and simply superior to cars for getting around town. There will only be more and more riders as people try scooters for themselves, it is inevitable.
If you are a rider, stay vigilant when you are out. Ride with others if you can, there is safety in numbers without a doubt. I named this channel Scoota Gang for a reason, we are all in this together. As Jordyn and I come ride in more cities this year, we invite you all to join us and show everyone that scooters are here to stay!

Yeah i feel the same way like they own the street. Probably because they pay for a license and scooter riders don't so maybe just maybe it's annoying for them to accept we have the same privilege but without the license so they feel the need to bully us around. Happens to me in Grinnell now every once in awhile.. their inability to adapt is ridiculous. Had one pass me at 25 on a side street, so you know I had to assert myself back in front of them at 45-50. I’m a man of principal.

Scooters are a lot closer to bikes than motorcycles, this is why people pass you. Also you guys were having a lot more road rage than the cars. In that second clip, you're literally driving all over the road in every lane.
I have a scooter and they are more like a motorcycles by far. Control wise / the angles you take, balance wise, speed, wobble, torque, no pedalling. An expensive e-scooter can take the road easily but an e-bike would struggle to keep up
I understand that it’s a small vehicle, but when it’s going at or above the speed limit, there is no reason to pass it.
It’s not impeding the flow of traffic and I bet you that you shouldn’t be that enraged doing the speed limit if the scooters weren’t there.

This is why I stick to fast scooters and even if I go 50mph on a 40mph road, they are still faster than me. I sold my Emove cruiser because of something like this. I ride bicycles on sidewalks and I don’t ride them on where I ride scooters at. One time I was signaling to get people to pass me and hearing the horn the mad way and I wasn’t having it. I was on the white line and was no shoulder soooo yeah I had few Karens here

I think you should kept your Emove Cruiser they're designed for commute sidewalk sometimes on road when there's no vehicle. Emove latest scooter is Emove Roadster is their fastest scooter this one is built for racing. With this you can out run those idiots Emove Roadster is extremely POWERFUL scooter much faster than ordinary vehicles.

I rather have faster scooters. I have roads here some people are not patient as they are not patient for bicycles. They never heard of sharing the road. I dont like how the scooter is made.
In my town even if I do 50mph in a 25 zone someone will do this to me every fucking time. And yes mirrors are broken and sometimes I will dent the shit out of every panel on trucks and cars. I'm on an electric bike in Maine, I have to gear my bike up with semi off road tires just in case ass holes here try and run me over. Back in 2019 I had to ride with a shot gun visible on my back pack at all times to keep people from raging against me. Lucky I'm a big guy and don't get messed with much. Right now I only have one or two incidents a day. I only ride bikes or ebikes. I sold my car last year because I didn't use it for 4 years and it was just going to rot.
To other commentors, I to believe most of the rage is because they "wish" they could ride and have fun, but they are so brainwashed into have a Giant car to haul them selves around in. It is so funny , they look like cyborg beetles, so reliant on a cage of metal to protect themselves from the evil outside.

I used to ride an e-scooter on the road, but not anymore. I haven't been pull over by a cops and also haven't get caught by a road rage yet. So, I'm lucky. This is the reason why I don't want to ride on the road again!
I'm riding a high-speed e-scooter on the bike lane now. Bike lane is safer because there's no road rage. Road rage can't do anything on the bike lane. Cops are mostly on the road, not bike lane.
I'm unlucky. I'm in an area in Illinois with no bike lanes whatsoever.
I’ve had similar experiences. Unless I’m speeding, people in cars seem to get irritated that they’re behind a scooter they perceive as slow. Even then it doesn’t totally eliminate dangerous close passes, despite consistently beating cars off the line and getting up to the speed limit or above faster than they do. I’ve had people yell at me out their window saying that I should be on the sidewalk, and that I’m not a car and shouldn’t be on the road, all while we’re going 30-40mph. It should be obvious to them by my speed and motorcycle helmet that the sidewalk is not the place for me to ride. In fact, it’s specifically where I’m not supposed to ride. So far I’ve been able to fight the urge to take a mirror, but it’s definitely tempting after a driver puts me in danger on purpose.
In Germany its even worse. Our scooters are limited to 21 km/h by law AND we are forced to drive on the street by law aswell. You can imagine a lot of drivers are not happy.
What if you imported it from another country? Or would you be stopped by police
@@samanimations2002 You could, but you wont be able to get insurence (so no licence plate) because they check the serial number. Without license plate you will be stopped sooner than later.

The problem is you can't outrun road ragers in cars by going "faster". You go 40 MPH they go 50 MPH, etc. In addition, most states won't let you legally ride any kind of e-scooters over 15-20 MPH. If you are riding responsibly, let the ragers rage.
i cannot tell you how many times ive been flicked off, honked at, people swerving, at me. ect. its been my experience that the average motorist hates us scooter folk
Recently had one dude curse at me while I was riding in the bike lane, turn around, and told him I had a gun. His ass didn't even turn around he kept on driving 😂😂😂😂

I drive trucks, cars, and ride motorcycles, snowmobiles, ebikes, and escooters. Following someone to their house is asking for big issues, basically as bad as road raging. You mention owning the lane, but you dont really own it by hugging the curb. It literally entices a driver to go around you... most people won't hug a curb or roadside unless there's a problem, you are going slower, you're lost, whatever. Hug a curb and I'm going to go around you. If you want to own the lane, then own it and ride right in the middle of the lane or even towards the left of the lane. I get your point totally in the vid, just sayin.
wow you be careful out there. you have more road rights than those cars, since the government is pushing all-electric vehicles your trying to make a difference or complying with that concept and the general car transportation bozo's don't like change, it seems. I like your videos and scooters. Im 65 and a CDL driver. I will give you room and not try to run over you. I used to ride a Harley through Atlanta traffic. the cars would consider me a moving target driving the city perimeters were like driving on a NASCAR track.

My brother was going the speed limit on his Vsett 10+. Guy in a PICKUP got angry and tailgated him for around 3 blocks before almost RUNNING him off the road!

where I live escooters are legally treated the same as a bicycle. But I’ve noticed that drivers here are WAAAAY more angry and aggressive towards scooter riders than cyclists for no real reason. I only ride in residential areas only 25mph speed limit and I ALWAYS stay farthest to the right and still drivers will blow their horn and swear at me for no reason.

Yeah I've had people ride next to me to check out the speed on my previous scooters. Ever since ive had my Fluid Vista Scooter i let them pass me and then i accelerate they are in shock. So far i haven't encountered any road ragers when i ride my scooter only curious people. A few days ago i was riding my car and some lady pass the stip sign she almost crash into a green car and i almost crashed her. I tell you alot of crazy people around. Passing when there is a stop sign some meters away, they drove on the right side and drove pretty far in on the side.
If you're riding something that, if you get hit, you die, there should be no speed limit for you.
That’s the most stupid thing I’ve ever read in my life. You ever heard of a motorcycle?? They have speed limits and they can die way easier than you can on a scooter that can’t even break 70.
