Thank you for really helpful tutorial I have a question could you give a hint how to create a possibility to start ("emit") a moving wave from a point or a null object?
Thank you. This is the best tutorial I found for creating fancy waves without Trapcode. It is also a very good workflow lesson. I have one question: Is it possible to make these waves follow vectorial motions ? If yes, what method would you recommend to do so ?
Check out this new tutorial: ua-cam.com/video/bfsmw7riVtk/v-deo.html that has been added recently, where you can create the same effect but with greater ease and improved results and flexibility.
Pro: This is what I exactly needed. Thanks. I have been searching for this kind of tutorial for a while. Con: There is something in your tutorial which makes it hard for me to follow it. It's not the language, because it is clear enough. I don't know why but I easily lost my focus and needed to go back to the beginning of the tutorial several times. The pace seems logical. The explanations seem logical. But why I had to go over it several times, I cannot explain.
Thank you for your feedback . i understand it can be confusing, but please make sure you have watched the whole tutorial series it will help you to follow with me to understand card dance effect and what you can do with it bit.ly/AbstractMG
I think one of the reason is that there is a little too much use of "these" or "this" instead of saying what it is and/or naming if it's about the layer or the effect named "glow" for instance. If you want to follow with listening, that doesn't help. That said it is a good tutorial anyhow!
8:30 I dont know why but after drawing the curve and disabling Glow 2, my wave is still bright, for sure no cut as much as here. After switching off both Glow and Glow2, I got a close effect but it was grey instead of blue/teal. I have checked all the settings, and colors, and seems the same as in the tutorial but probably I missed something...
hello. thank you. it is awesome. you explained it very well, simple and clean. i really wanted this effect. so thanks. i wonder how do I add this to a path? i want this like light streaks
hi, thanks for sharing this tutorial, I'm making some kind of cough "air" and this helps a lot! btw, how to make the wave line disappear from end to start?

Hey there! Thanks for this awesome tutorial. It was super detailed, and I learned about a lot of new effects that I have never used before. Now I still have 2 questions left after watching the whole video: 1. Is there a way for me to bend the wave? I would like to make it curvier and twist it at certain places. 2. How can I take this wave and use it as animation on my website? I have a website already and I just want to paste it on certain areas of my website. How do I do that? Thank you in advance, and please make more awesome tutorials like this.

I have added the second Venetian Blinds and it helped a lot but still, had to miss something.
Is it possible to do this same effect with trap code particular?
Your scene menus are blurring. What happens at about 2:50. It looks like you combine layers but I can't understand what you said here.
You are the best, thank you for this tutorial!
how much RAM do u have dude?
Thank you for the video! I have a problem: after creating Orbit Null I don`t have the same wavy lines(( (it’s looks like a road, not a tube)

You are welcome. This was using AE native effect . Would be much easier to use particle system to create this effects on paths or masks
