Plot twist: This is the life of an immortal person that can't die
More like a life of a person that live through all of his reincarnation without dying

"No. There needs to be a mountain."
"What if I don't want a mountain?"
"No. It's the only rule."
1:57 "Screw your mountain!"
nice take on it
What about the location of the character? Or the angle of the camera? Or the pace of movement? Also the existence of a character.
😂😂😂nice one bro
1:57
As the creator of that entry... this is very accurate
:D
1:15, the timing with the music was insane.
Ikr, perfect.
On so many videos the timing is perfect, so, isn't the music made FOR the video ?
Not to mention, that Greek/Olympus is the only one with that kind of effect. Definitely one of my top 5 among them!
1:31 that's so crazy bruh
Yeah lol

Interpretive storytelling's just such a powerful form of the medium
Saving this for when Im super high
Sounds like my everyday life
Das deep bro
Something about this one is so raw the way it’s drawn
4:03
Ikr it has a shadow fight 2 vibe too
3:21 Definitely the most detailed, a lot of work was put into that, great job, Christopher Shultz.
Agreed
Thanks!
It’s actually always the same guy, he doesn’t care about the surroundings and the continuous dimensional change because infinity made him fearless and he now either wants to die or finally reach that distant mountain.
Great analogy
Reaching that mountain means the very end of his journey.
wow so sad and deep:(
The mountain: A pillar
The guy: That one white truck
@SaphiraSeraphina "It was the friends we made along the way."

@Just Some Communist With Internet Access yeah but still funny to me. and it's not hurting anyone so i think it's okay bro.
@Just Some Communist With Internet Access i guess too
Me going to school:
Can confirm, it's all true.
LMAO
2:26 is my favorite. One of the only to break up the flat landscape
I relate so much with this one as ive walked along train tracks alone myself just letting the time pass.. i think the character feels lost and wants to find purpose
i like it too but I wish some snow would splash onto him from the train passing
Yup, that along with @1:53 win for their activity and depth use.
I like this 2:26 and also 1:45
For some reason, these all give a feeling of hopelessness. Maybe it's the way the characters plod along with their shoulders slumped and their feet dragging, maybe it's the metaphor that everyone tries to climb the mountain of success, maybe it's the art itself. Whatever it is, the works are all amazing and mind blowing.
Ikr , They are so scary yet peaceful at the same time
I think this is metaphor of humans life. We are all going to this mountain.... Each one of us have their own way.
For me it's the opposite. It gives me hope. Even if we don't know if we will reach the mountain, at least we can enjoy the view.
And the journey is as cool as the destination.
I mean, might as well enjoy it.
it's mind boggling how there is so much talent in this world that is going completely unnoticed. each year they release remakes and sequels to the same movies and games, i just want something creative and new to be appreciated. these were all so beautiful...
There are tons of completely original indie ideas being posted in reddit or itch.io every day, unfortunately people just don't care enough about them unless they are connected to an already existing IP in some form.
Imagine if this was a VR game
@@jaydenrussell7491 epic
Careful on what you judge. A sequel can be just as creative if not more than a new idea. Building on an idea and creating something new is amazing.
Each one so detailed that it could spawn a whole movie...
Some look infinitely better than others. Not even talking about the art style. There are some scenes here that look like they were made for a Unity game.
@@commentingchannel9776 so true
lmaoooo "Cars"
@@commentingchannel9776 those look good in their own right. realism and shiny doesn't always mean it's better art.
3:19 the idea and execution of this is amazing
1:53 is probably my favorite. That one really stuck out and is just a unique concept
I’m completely blown away!! Every single one of these shots are works of art and Clint inspired over a hundred artists to participate in something special. Round of applause to everyone involved!

how i can get longer videos of animations
The walking character walks like they've been walking for a while. They seem so tired.
They have been trying to reach the mountain for their entire life, but they don't seem to see it get closer, when they feel like they do, the mountain suddenly stretches farther into the horizon

Well hello there
Hello there
I love the transition from 1:16 to the next shot
0:25 Mile Eror is my personal favourite, the style just pops! Looks amazing, they are all incredible but that one really caught my eye
It's crazy how each one tells a story. But most of them give that feeling of loneliness just with the way the characters walk.
for me its like they are moving with a lack of direction or apathy I def see lonliness too, nice music btw man
The exact same walk is done in Joker. At 0:09:15
Kinda fascinating really
Jesus Christ is coming soon he loves you all please repent and accept him
I wanted to comment the same thing so I will just add to this one. This video for me captures loneliness like nothing else. For me loneliness isn’t about feeling sad or happy or actually being alone. It’s feeling like you aren’t leaving any mark in this world. Like this character walks always in the same way towards the mountain, loneliness can feel inescapable, no mather how you try to aproach it. Here are scenes that are busy with life, abandoned places, wonderful sights, funny easter eggs, spooky places, but none of them feel like they interact with the main character, he is just a being which percieves but leaves nothing behind.
@@eh9009 When you say "soon", is there a given date or at least an estimate?

For shure. It's a masterpiece
This feels like we are seeing a glimpse at different timelines, all featuring the same mountain.
Mount Atlas?
Right? This looks awesome!
This is an amazing comment
That's not a mountain , that's a wave
it is.. thats why its titled PARALLEL DIMENSIONS
2:26 I love the one with the train! I think it's the asymmetry; so many others have the figure walking down the middle of the road, so this stood out in a good way.
so hard to pick a favorite tbh.
he is still walking in the middle of the scene though, but just due to composition your brain ignores the unimportant half
so i also agree, it stands out in a good way
Bro me too
And the one right after is dope
I thought the same thing while watching this one!!! And the fact that the convergent lines still point to the middle is just so outstanding to other ones

1:55 magnific 😍
2:18 majestic😍
2:26 most reality ever😍

1:33 most religious
this most beautiful 1:45
this captures the feeling of wandering so perfectly.. this is exactly why i travel. It's literally perfect, there is nothing more beautiful than seeing something new and exploring.
Imagine a game that just forces you into other realities randomly as your “character” progresses towards the mountain which is the nexus of the multiverse.

God between all the render videos that I've watched including the almost 3 hour one it makes me really wish I could get into this. Wish I had a laptop that could actually run what I want to render but even then work would turn one single render into a year long process.
Such amazing talent displayed in a short amount of time, each of your videos has shown me different perspectives and it is just absolutely awe inspiring.
3:21 is by far my favorit, it is absolutely beautiful
2:26 this is so beautiful :O
I got movie vibes straight away - some guy down on his luck. There's definitely a story in there.
The best.
The power of good lighting.
Amazing.
2 things are certain:
-humanoid creature
-mountain in the distance
The rest is up for interpretation. I love this. The perspective this creates is of a character on a mission of surpassing their obstacles and overcoming their ultimate goal (the mountain). The idea that this obstacle can be anything and this person can be anyone, in a way, can be understood as a metaphor, and that's what I love. I could imagine myself climbing those mountains. And that's powerful.
Well said.
Nice words, monokuma
The lense of the camera, the movement of the camera and the movement of the humanoid are also certain.
weird I got the feeling that the character was tired but had to keep moving.
The storytelling on every clip has a lot of potential that's why it feels nostalgic because you create your own world using just a 3 sec clip. I love this videos, And the way they walk seems like a beginning of something
I come back to rewatch these vids on occasion and the sheer creativity and variety of these entries is truly amazing and inspiring. There’s always something new each time you watch this.
1:55 damn that explosion was beautiful
indeed, but I feel like the neon lights are too distracting
@@lastyhopper2792 true that, the focus is divided
The synchrony with the music was also perfect
Wasn't all
i think it's inspired by Star Wars
"A Man of 125 Lives: Journey to the Mountain Peak" sounds like a title for a possibly cool book
Agree
His Undesirable Destination with 125 Lives Does this sound better?
"125" sounds like a Blockbuster movie that only comes once every 10 years
"A man who walks alone, no need for his home. He who blows and drifts like the breeze. A mere traveller like you and me, but his destination, even he doesn't know. Travelled from land to seas, and as time will one day stop it's flow. In that day he shall run, from his fears, for his dreams, because his journey shall be done."
Yes I agree.
I'll stole that concept
I still come back to this from time to time. The challenge which started all the challenges! The music and mood of this montage is just incredible.
Watching this just gives me a nostalgic emotion that seems to be like each and every clip has a heartfelt story behind them
0:44 Howl’s Moving Castle?!
YES! YES! YES!
And 1:01 was Grave of Fireflies, another Studio Ghibli reference
@@flamingooooo Oh really! I didn't notice it at first.

Yeah unlucky that the most boring one won
This is why everyone is unique, they have their own unique taste, personality, ideas which is amazing to think about it. For someone who calls themself weak, useless, and wanted to die...No! You were unique and great from the first, so cheer up ^^

Yet some people compares and generalise.
So right!!! Great way to say it!
Love the Hal’s moving Castle at 0:44
I think it's fair to say that everybody has their favourite render. But can we appreciate all the creativity on display here? The awe, the inspiration. Each one of these renders makes me wonder: "What's happening here? What's the story behind this?" It is truly fascinating
1:53 it feels like you’re actually on the battlefield, I like that one.
Same
Definitely my favorite
It reminds me of 1917
Remind me of those old 80s action medieval movies
And the ones immediately after are completely insane.
I would play this as a game, literally to just walk to the mountain while transitioning through each of those scenes. Amazing stuff!
That would make one boring game lol it’s a nice art piece though
@@kylemuncal7047 depends, the scenery and variety of art styles make it so satisfying to play if it were a game.
That's just death stranding without the scene transition thing
Would be so cool

I really wish I knew how to do something like this. This is so amazing, it’s a perfect reminder of how creative people can be.
2:03 is so incredibly stunning
3:19 I just wonder how many landscapes like that our ancestors enjoyed, and to know that those landscapes are nothing more than ruins...
The atmosphere is magnificent, I really wanna stay there to enjoy the view.
this is my favourite one
I’m thinking: what if when they reach the mountain they all meet up because that mountain connects all the alternate/parallel universes and that was the journey or reason why they wanted to go there
Like related to “your name” where they can all speak to each other for a minute?
Jesus loves you, person :)
It would be The Dark Tower.
Now we kan make a movie out of this!!!
Was thinking the same thing
All incredible. I think 1:04 takes the cake in terms of realism - just an incredible level of detail. Almost looks photo real
So many talented people out there. I hope their future is so bright that they can contribute to the world even more with their creativity.
I just imagine this as a person who keeps getting rebirthed to end an entire dimension and while walking he says, "Aw shit, here we go again."

YOOO SAMEEE
I seem to remember coming across this awesome, visually pleasing video at the height of the pandemic almost 2 years ago, at the time me and a buddy of mine were just browsing through the tubes here in our own free time and were lucky enough to stumble across this absolute masterpiece, we were both absolutely mind blown by the breathtaking visual effects and rendering of it all, we can only imagine the workload that must have gone into all this to make it happen, it totally slipped my mind to subscribe to this channel at the time, then totally out of the blue, something really quite bizarre happened recently & this video came up in conversation again, the mountain in the background always reminded me of one that I'd seen in a racing car game as a kid, I think it's Artesonraju if I'm not mistaken, or as some may know it, the Paramount mountain, the scene where Zeus bangs his staff down and day changes to night was really quite memorable too, as well the one where Surtr is sat looking around at the foot of the mountain with sword in hand, I've noticed something different and new each and every time I've watched this, that's awesome stuff, pleased I found this again, now subscribed! 👍
Saw this for the first time! I am so impressed... amazingly gifted CG artists. Visionary !
I wouldn't mind to pay money just to explore the worlds these artists create. Even if there's no quest. Just adventures.
