Just bought this exact car here in Australia and it's pretty good with all options. Coming from a Mercedes 2.0L turbo it definitely a lot better sounding. The infotainment is not nearly as intuitive as the MBUX and I find the sound system to still be not as good as what the bermister is in the Mercedes. However, you can't fault the sheer power it puts down when needed and then how efficient it runs for highway driving.

I do miss some of the infotainment the Mercedes’ had and I miss the 4matic because in the wet it can be a little slippery if you don’t gently accelerate but all in all I am very satisfied with it. It’s been very economical, it’s got plenty of power, sporty feel. The only thing I would say is if you’re a bigger person the seats are quite narrow and you sit quite low in the car so maybe for bigger people as in weight wise a x3 style would be better.
What is the difference between a M sport 330i over the non m sport besides the exterior? Not sure if I should get the 330i m sport over the m340i which isn’t that much more in terms of cost
M-Sport can have the sport suspension as well as the adaptive suspension. Additionally it can have M-Sport brakes and a limited slip diff. I know the comment is 2 years old already but I thought I might answer it anyway, for somebody else wondering ;)
I picked my 330! M Sport Plus up (with every option other than a tow bar!) on Xmas eve......240 miles of motor way cruising with the driver assist function on was effortless...and I got almost 50 mpg!! A step up from the 328i that I traded in...500 rpm Lower at 70mph and although the published power is only slightly increased it feels a lot sharper. Oh, and the mrs loves the parallel parking feature😜 For all those who say 'but it's not a six cylinder'.....give it a try, you might be surprised. In fact I will guarantee it! In the real world a four pot twin turbo unit makes a lot of sense......and in the UK the 340 is another £8k+.... hard to justify.
I hope the next generation are Six cylinders...Because BMW is famous for it's I6's back in the day. I hope they follow the tradition of the true BMW way.
No way mate.. atleast not for 330 & below. Looking at the progression with other model over the years they’ll probably incorporate those hybrid technology shit with smallest engine displacement possible, probably a 3 cylinder turbo engine 😅
I had exacly like this and it was my best car ever, you allways need ton of Oil but car was great for fun and long distance drive Mine had 90 000 km when i sold him and i can say it was best car what i had.

Just drove one for 2 days -nicest car for its size i have ever used. ( rented) . Great engine and handling dynamics, and reasonably spacious. My next favourite was the Lexus IS 250 ( owned)

@@ottokimpi sorry to be blunt, but are you serious? Yes, same B48 engine, but you chose one with a battery. Hybrids are more tuned for reduced consumption and emissions. They therefore have more controlled and restrictive systems and exhaust probably. Also, in this case, while the 330e is more powerful, it is heavier and slower.
to make the car slightly more efficient they took away the cool (imo) upshift burbbles/farts away. To me it makes the car seem like its shifting slower even though i doubt it is..listen to the 2018 420i upshifting on my channel and you will understand what i mean

Eamon Os 1. The inline 6 na cant pass the new euro emission 2. Only the NA inline 6s are reliable 3. NA inline 6s are gas guzzling engine, I own an E90 328i before 4. The acceleration from the B48 is insane for what it is 6. The reliability on 30i s are actually pretty good, better than 40i s
I was going to buy the 330i 2019 and actually waited 3 months for it. Idk how but I ended buying the Golf GTI mk7.5 2019 and no regrets. A car worth it's price, definitely.

The sound these modern exhaust make are kind of lame though. My ex e46 325 sounded better without any enhancement . I’ll not even mention the sound from the VQ35DE in my Infiniti G35.

Why? You probably have never driven these cars. It's faster and more efficient than an E90 330i 6-cylinder. Similar B48 engine also fitted in Toyota Supra and Morgan Plus Four.
what are you talking about dude? There are 2 recent videos on this channel with a BMW M850i (3.93s to 100) and Lamborghini Urus (3.44s to 100) and they both have max accelerations of 1+ G. The Audi R8 must go close to 1.5G max acceleration

All American magazines clocked it at 157-160 kmh, which is right where 4 cylinders with this power are. This car traps the exact same speed compared to a lightweight M135i with 306hp. You understand why I said it's totally unrealistic.

@@Karpfenkarl Ein E46 ist nur 40kg leichter aber ganze 23cm kürzer…G20 328kg/m Außenlänge E46 332kg/m Außenlänge. Zudem hatte ein E46 damals deutlich weniger Serienausstattung und war 0,7 Sekunden langsamer von 0 auf 100. Und ein G20 hat den Fahrkomfort eines 7er E65 ist aber so sportlich wie ein E46.

@@PDriveTV I realize that. Then that car had JB4. Not stock, 100%. 167-170 is a higher trap speed than a BMW 335i F30 306hp. All American magazines clocked it at 157-160 kmh, which is right where 4 cylinders with this power are. This car traps the exact same speed compared to a lightweight M135i with 306hp. You understand why I said it's totally unrealistic.

@@DMCarReviews It's not flashed. It is a factory standard car -it had about 2500km on the clock. Trap speed isn't just a result of power and weight. Aerodynamics also play a big role, and transmission gearing.
