Great video mate, I would agree with everything, except overlapping inputs. Overlapping (slightly) brake and throttle, especially just post-apex, allows the driver to slightly shift the weight rearward and prepare for mass understeer when hitting the exit. It also makes slight corrections to hit the apex easier, because the car doesn't unsettle nearly as easily. Cheers again for the valuable content bud.
Very timely, I have been trying to understand the science behind adjusting brake bias for cornering, you have explained that, but how much do you adjust is my question? The catagory I watch use brake bias to rotate the car, but the amount of bias added or removed seems to be a preset amount as the driver simply moves a lever forward or back. Cheers
Please show real-time on the foot camera first. It’s so slow that I can’t almost see or get a feel for what is happening. The descriptions were very good, though.
Ya There are some oval racing leagues like the Street Stock car rookie series all the way up to the big leagues like NASCAR. Now if you are asking about tips for oval tracks then I do not know about them just yet.
Check out Dori's full 'get better at iRacing' video series on his channel here:
