What a fantastic flight. Love listening to the exchange between you and ATC. Incredibly busy on the frequency with the heavy's on approach. It would definitely take a fair bit of experience flying into a major airport like this. Thank's for posting and i look forward to future videos.
Appreciate your drawing on the STAR, Approach Plate and TAXI so that we could get an idea of how you were being radar vectored and taxiing on the ground. Enjoyed the hard IFR flight.
Welcome Back! Great flight, well-executed and presented on this video. Really like the way you keep the charts up for a time so we can follow along. Hope to see more soon!
Thank You!!! Followed the charts on flightaware.com. Departures and arrival charts vary due to this being a year old. (presumably) It's like "Picture Pages" without Cosby and that squeaky marker!
Great video....I noticed at beginning of arrival you were starting descent using VNV....very good! Also be careful, one of the Garmin Gotchas is using VNV, if you overspeed aircraft, vertical mode will cancel VNV and go to PIT mode....which can get you behind the descent angle and not make your next crossing altitude! FYI.....you probably already know.....😎👍
Line up and wait sounds odd. I haven't flown since 2004 and I'm used to position and hold. IFR into ORD was one of my favorite arrivals in a B200. Nicely done and subbed.
Great videos! Love them ! Keep em coming please! Question, in busy airplane like that are u toggling back and forth from nav mode to heading mode? As they bounce u from heading to way points? Ty, phj
Great to see a video from you.. again . nice video... Funny I was just wondering how things where going since no videos for so long... Thanks for sharing...
Just found your channel and love it! How come they have so few taxiways coming off 27R and 9L? It seemed the controller was telling every aircraft to keep the speed up! They should give the guy a break and put down some more concrete! Keep up the good work.
Great video. Enjoyed the flight......soupy all the way. Great job, and great landing. Did you feel the turbulence ATC was referring to, during approach?
Another excellent video - Must see in full screen! At the 4 minute mark the tower tells you to turn right and you turn left, your only option. As a non-pilot, what I am missing?
I would have floated half way down the runway, except I don't have a Mustang, and probably never will. How short of a space can you drop that puppy in anyway?
That was awesome, man the radio work alone made me sweat! I couldn't tell from my POV but did you pick up trace ice? As far as O'Hare goes, why can't they build a few more runways LOL?
I enjoyed the maps with the highlighted markings. Nicely done! Keep those videos coming.
Great video! It doesn't get any better than this! Busy airport, great editing, IMC, ILS, ATC! Thanks for taking us along!
KINGSHAKABOBO Thanks. Glad you liked it.

Spiro thanks for the comment. Hope to post more very soon.
Very interesting watching you work into a major airport. Controller was earning his pay.

Another great flight to follow on Foreflight as well as practice copying clearances and atc instructions.
Thank you!

It's been awhile, glad to see another video!
Sick panel.. I'm jealous
Wow, very busy! Great vid mate.
Awesome teaching video
Good videos. Maybe you can get some close shots on the panel when you program your flight plan plus if you have to change it in the air. Thanks

Just found your channel today. Great video!
Nice video. I am only a short distance north of the 9L final.
Great videos! Love them ! Keep em coming please! Question, in busy airplane like that are u toggling back and forth from nav mode to heading mode? As they bounce u from heading to way points? Ty, phj

ac ak Thanks for the comment. “Right turn to heading 060” is my initially assigned heading after take off.
Thank You!!
Very nice.
Crazy that you guys had to taxi off Runway 9L at O’Hare fast.
I guess they mean it
I would have floated half way down the runway, except I don't have a Mustang, and probably never will. How short of a space can you drop that puppy in anyway?
The Mustang can get in and out of a 3k ft runway with the right conditions.
great video man. is that the ap turning the trim wheel by your right hand thumb? btw, Huge ones... made of brass!
Rick Shelton Thanks. Yep autopilot turns the trim wheel.
That was awesome, man the radio work alone made me sweat! I couldn't tell from my POV but did you pick up trace ice? As far as O'Hare goes, why can't they build a few more runways LOL?
pdutube good question as busy as it is.
At ohare, Even on a clear day it’s good to have an approach loaded to your runway so you don’t pick the wrong one.
What do you do for a living...
cirrus sr22 t I’m president of GlobalAirCharters.com. Check us out.
Why did you not slow to 210 as instructed?
Frank Hatstat I slowed to 210 kt IAS, It’s just that the GoPro speedometer is showing ground speed not IAS.
Citation Mustang Pilot Thx for the update. That makes perfect sense. I appreciate your follow-up with me.
Nice
