    All I did was rotate the same main meals every week.
    Sunday roast or chicken
    Monday Soup from and sandwiches ( from Sundays meat)
    Tuesday stew if you have any meat left form Sunday
    Wednesday Hamburgers and buns and salad or coleslaw ( cook extra hamburger)
    Thursday Chili (using extra hamburger precooked ) potatoes mashed ( extra cooled potatoes for later)
    Friday Sausages and refined potatoes and creamed corn
    Saturday is clean out the fridge day and / or Pasta ( lasagna; or spaghetti or stroganoff )
    I always pre cooked a wack hamburger
    desserts, vegetables, salades were the variables

      @@thecitysteadkitchen The kids would complain bitterly if the meal order got out of sync or was changed. We were on a very, very tight budget and doing this got us through some very lean years.

      @@thecitysteadkitchen Children were young enough .. would get unset if the expected meal was not on the proper day.. haha
