Great product, quality is sublime, and was super impressed with how the car looked after installation. It took about 5 days after ordering for my spoiler to arrive. I found that drilling out the trunk holes to the full 9mm or 3/8" is absolutely necessary for the spoiler margins to be consistently wide and to not add flexural stress to the spoiler during installation. Do not follow the advice in the video about not needing to drill the holes that wide. My spoiler squeaked at highway speeds due to this and had to go back and drill the holes to the full recommended size to fix it. Also, the adhesion promoter was already polymerized in the tube when I got it, so I had to get some clear, flexible gorilla grip contact adhesive from Lowes. I thought is was also easier to construct the spoiler totally before bolting it to the deck lid.
Thanks for this info. I am a noobie to car mods and I just got a WRX. I just placed my order for this and am very nervous about drilling holes in my trunk. Luckily, I have a friend who is a mechanic that is going to help me.
Thank you. I Painted them myself. You can find it on my personal channel if you wanted to tackle it yourself I have several guides. ua-cam.com/video/1uVMZGiKnZk/v-deo.html
Installed mine a few days ago, didn’t notice till I put it on that it has some weird star shaped parts of raised paint on the top of the deck? Otherwise it was a breeze. Swapped out the glue for weather stripping and 3m though
Does anyone know if the OEM Stabilizers are also 3m applied, or are they drilled and screwed? Looking to buy an STI and take them off if possible, but dont want to deal with holes that might be left behind.

@@ThuGfunk I did not
@@ThuGfunk have you received it yet I ordered mine on March 2nd just trying to figure how long the wait is
What if I’m putting it on my base wrx with no duckbill
I love the WRC difusor wings
Ordered mine but the base caps with the 3 bolts don’t fully screw in and I don’t want to apply anymore pressure and crack it should it be loose?
Love the taillights

Any thoughts to come out with a coverplate for the holes to be able to remove the OEM wrx spoiler?
We are working on that!
Subispeed sells one
Bought one of these and it matched 100% and looks great.
