He's moved all bonus content going forward over to Floatplane and, after feeling bad that he'd fallen off on making new After Shows, is currently in the process of closing the Patreon and is manually giving people refunds at request over the next week. Tbh I really admire Wade's transparency about all this, and I'm amazed and very appreciative of him uploading all of the After Shows individually
I hade the same iPad 4 with the same green case and it lived a similar life. Used it as my own iPad for a couple years. UA-cam, gaming, school notes. It did it all. Then it became my mom's iPad until it stopped supporting the main apps she uses. But Spotify and Safari still work on it so now it's mounted on the wall in my parents kitchen and is their designated recipe-book and music center for their bluetooth speaker.
I also love how the apple logo is always perfectly centered, it makes me happy! Also, it made the channel all the more unique for me, so yeah... We love the green guy❤

i have a 64GB iPad 3 that was gifted to me in 2019! i have the same case (mine's dark grey, i thrifted it for $2.99), though i also have the camera connection kit, an original 30-pin 10 Watt charger i bought brand new this past november cuz a discount store near me got a huge shipment of in-box 30 pin chargers??! and the coolest part, the fancy docking keyboard! it's a full typical keyboard from the era, but with different function keys and a dock for the ipad!!!

I use an old third gen to prop my door open lol, also in mint condition. Works fine too. I actually had to create another network using WPA 2 just so it could connect to the WIFI. After that it was Promoted to Apple IDoorProp
I’m still using my 5th gen iPad and it is still running so well. Yes it is now stuck on iPad OS 16, but that means nothing since these tablets can last so long.
my mom had (prolly still does) this exact same iPad with that exact same green cover whith the exact same facebook-to-kitchen cookbook trajectory lmao, only thing is we replaced the magnetic screen cover because it wore off (bootleg one didn't even compare to the original's quality)
I have that exact same ipad, it had a nice long life of youtube, pdf reading, gaming and a camera. I even had the full angry birds collection on there, including the ones that were removed from the app store. Sadly, the battery died and on that same day it fell off the table and the screen almost shattered, losing most touch controls, so it needed to be repaired. The repair guy did back everything up but they also did a clean install as well, and worst part is we can’t access the backup because booting into that requires ipadOS 14, which we could not install at that time. I still use the thing time to time even though it’s slow as heck, but I’m still upset about that almost complete library of angry birds games that were lost.
I decided to plug in my old air 2 that ive had for some 10 years, and last i checked (a few years back), it still turned on, but it has spent the last 10 minutes flickering onto the dying screen and onto a black screen, so i think its battery might be officiall cooked. it had a good run
I recently buy a brand new seal iPad 4 for 500rmb(70usd), it’s pretty fluid and beautiful under ios6. I enjoy the charm of it and left my new but boring iPad Pro and iPad mini behind. Also I try to find a green Smart Case and couldn’t find one, those things are so rare, but I bought two brand new green Smart Cover tho, it really looks good on the old iPad with giant white bezel.
iPads do pop from time to time 😢 mine lasted 2 and a half years and the NAND just stopped working in the middle of a game! Not happened since, hope I can keep my newest iPad for a very long time

You should use the iPad to record a full UA-cam video or just keep it recording on the table while recording some other video to make some kind of a behind the scenes of your iPhone and you talking while filming!
this is the same model iPad as mine! except my bezels are black. there's a crackline on my screen and the iPad can't update past iOS 10.3.3, it has a lot of games on it most of which are no longer on the App Store! I still use this iPad but I use it as a second iPad. my main iPad is a 2018 iPad Pro 11 inch!

This supports up to iOS 10.3. Why would anyone not upgrade it to that? iOS 7 is a little bit too much outdated, even on my devices that I have in my collection.
@@-validites- I always kept them as updated as possible, except for my first iPod Touch, which is still on iOS 1.0(more valuable for collectors if it is not updated, but back then I didn't know anything about updating those) and never had any issues with those that would make me stop using them.

I used the iPad 2nd gen from 2011 until 2022 when I switched to the iPad air. But it still works perfectly fine.
