Dude, I was just telling my brother the other day that they needed to bring the plastic phones back. And I told him. If you made half the phones plastic and the phones metal. Before too long, the metal ones would not sell anymore because those plastic ones felt like they were lighted as a feather, literally holding string with my left hand and I would spend the phone with my right hand because it was so darn light never had any problems breaking or anything stupid like that. Guarantee you the phones would be preferred for 90% of people.

Yeah after switching to the Motorola edge I can agree one ui is really good but no lie so much of it was like a cherry on top nothing really vital to the the experience for me

I was genuinely so disappointed when I saw the watch ultra and the new buds... I'm genuinely considering switching to iPhone because I don't want my whole ecosystem to look like an Apple knockoff lmao

@@nottherealme9589 look at the Samsung odyssey, that thing is beautiful! Look at the displays THEY MAKE FOR OTHERS- they’re amazing. But not because I don’t preffer Samsung means that I glaze Apple, they’ve messed up a lot. But Samsung is… just no.
@@nottherealme9589 also how about you actually bring up a point for Samsung instead of just saying I “glaze Apple”? Seriously, there are plenty of other good Android brands out there. Samsung’s recent actions are worse than Apple’s, and if you can’t accept that then I’m sorry, but you’re just coping at that point
If im being honest the main reason why people bought the galaxy watch is because it doesnt have a square blocky looking screen its round and looks more elegant and then they just stopped doing it
I don't get how Samsung copied so much from Apple's design with the Watch Ultra, only to then fumble on one of the most critical parts of the user experience and not include a physical rotating piece to cycle through content. Seriously, the Apple Watch line is turning 10 years old this year, and it was clearly established from the beginning why you need some kind of rotary encoder, and it's because on such a tiny screen your fingers will obstruct the view incredibly easily and your accuracy in touching elements on the screen gets even worse. How are we 10 years in and Android watchmakers still don't understand this? And no, the emulated rotating dial by awkwardly sliding your finger around the edges isn't the same. Especially in a watch for extreme activities like hiking, diving, and swimming, how the hell do you expect the touchscreen to work? Their official answer on why it isn't on the Watch Ultra is for durability-they wanted it to pass MILSPEC durability tests. But I'm going to tell you right now that for 95% of buyers of this watch, better controls are more important than more durability.
bro their lead designers are Apple fanboys what did u expect from iSheep Samsung fell off hard after the galaxy S10 which is when they got this bum ROH💀 they removed the removable storage instead of improving it, they removed the headphone jack for vastly inferior Bluetooth e-waste, their tablets have a bezel thick enough for 2 cameras yet they still have a notch, they are getting rid of the boxy design next year, their very capable tablets have 1 port 1 USB-C 3.0 PORT NOTHING ELSE and the screen hasn't improved since the tab s5e 6 years ago 💀 next year they are going to ruin emulation compatibility by switching to a mediatek chip that is as powerful as the 8gen3 that would basically be a yearold at that point. Samsung's just too comfortable at the top that's all am gonna say
sad for people who didn't know who HUAWEI is/ HUAWEI makes samsung look bad and worse camera and speed/ glad i'm a huawei fan huawei design i much better and huawei make stuff that make sense and a 2015 huawei p8 lite budget beat's samsung galaxy a34 from 2023 in camera.
Nah, they're copying. It's one thing using the same wristband but it's another copying the model name and stand out design and functionality features of the Apple watch ultra
@@zues121510 if you reckon Samsung has used the word "ultra" in their flagships for years now, it aint copying brother, if its someone who took advantage of that word its apple, Samsung used "ultra" to make it seem like top of the top since their s line up resembles that nowadays and the ultra stads as "best there is"
@@karma_charger8306 fair enough, I'll give you that, but you only mentioned one of the things I referred to. What about the blocky design and the almost identical button on the side? If Samsung only copied one of the things resembling an apple watch ultra it wouldn't be much of an issue, but all of these things at once, whilst the same department also makes the first stemmed wireless earphones that look *extremely* similar to Airpods, it's difficult to blame it on coincidence. People do not design a product by coincidence, everything is intentional to some level, same as how Apple didn't copy widgets from android by "coincidence".
Man, as someone who loves the Note 9, the older watches and still uses the og Galaxy Buds, I massively feel this video. When I unboxed the Note 9 for the first time, it was special and just incredible (coming from a Note Edge). 3 years later, the S22 Ultra was just boring and basic necessary things like a charger and even 45W compatible cable had to be bought seperately. I have further not been able to find a dongle as good and just seemless as the internal headphone jack
I use a Galaxy S3 Classic and have been disappointed to find out that from next year it won't be compatible with any new Samsung phones. They are essentially killing the older watches because of...reasons?
S24 Ultra is my favourite phone design they have ever made, a completely flat screen, minimal rounding on the corners of the screen + S-Pen. You're completely right about the Galaxy watch line, it drives me nuts, they have such a great company identity with their rotating Bezel and it's why I and many others choose Samsung over their competition I got a free watch 6 with my S24 Ultra and it just sits there because I'd rather use the Watch 4 Classic with Rotating Bezel and I know I'm not the only one who feels this way, I'm soo dam sick of Samsung neutering themself for no reason, if I wanted an Apple watch knock off I'd go on Temu
S24U is a downgrade if u think abt it thoroughly... u don't get a curved display and a 10x physical zoom lens. They literally nerfed it to 3x and 5x from 5x and 10x. Sure 3x and 5x may sound practical to a lot of people but, with how good Samsung sensors are, the main camera should be fine with zooming to 3x or 4x.
@@tanzilalislam9939> u don't get a curved display thats an upgrade, more info available on the screen but if the camera downgrade is true then thats quite unfortunate, zoom is really useful to have
With the right direction I feel like Motorola can make a strong come back. The new Razr is genuinely a good foldable phone. And their stylus phones are great if you're on a budget.
I actually switched to the iPhone after 7 years of constantly using Samsung phones. The phone got boring and my S23U got really easily scratched up. There were software and camera issues, that have never been resolved. Hell the battery life got much worse after the S24U came out. I am not even eligible to try out the beta program in my region. So I finally ditched Samsung to move to the 15 Pro Max..I miss many android features..many Samsung exclusive features. But it overall works pretty well and that's what I want.
yeah, im also planning to switch from samsung to xiaomi (where i live there are only about 5 viable brands and iphone is way too expensive in my currency), after my A34 started showing problems out of nowhere, there isn't a single samsung i bought that didn't have screen issues even under warranty, and honestly the competition is offering much more for about the same price of samsung phones, the only thing that is keeping me is OneUI and videography
@@Fazuyr yeah Xiaomi is definitely a good choice if you aim for their flahship phones I was also thinking about the Xiaomi 14 Ultra but then I read that Xiaomi is giving about once in 3 months an update on their global ROM..that was a turn off for me don't know where you live but hopefully it will be better with the Xiaomi..and if not, then there is still the Nothing Phone
I had quite issue like you on S23+. Especially after Android 14/OneUI 6 update. So on december 31st I boxed my S23+ and pick up iPhone 15 Pro. I am now running iOS 18 beta because I can, it is avaible all around the world. And is it really really stable since the first beta. And Samsung is not able to fix the animations after many years 😅 TBH I do not my anything from android. And the fact the Apple health is best and how it is working with the Apple health kit, damn Android health conncect can have wet dreams 😂 even the Apple Watch SE which I have give me so many data.
Both phone companies are making bumswipe phones. Don't even try to defend the s24 ultra as they are just starting to do the same thing as the iPhone's.
What's so good about it? Headphone jack? Heart Rate Sensor? Open up your minds and see why these companies just stopped doing all these BS. The video owner basically talks about how the early days of Samsung was just them throwing cash here and there to experiment something that he would later just call it BS. But when they stopped doing so, he also called it a BS decision. The whole video is ironic to his own words. I've used the same S10 since 2019 and just upgraded to an S24 Plus and there's thousands of things that's making me not regretting so. I don't get what's wrong with these supposed "tech nerds" that barely used the same brand for a decade. I've never felt a regret in any purchase nor decisions they've made. My S10 barely lasted 4 years of software updates while this S24 can go up to 7 years and almost a decade of security continuation.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels like Samsung is just desperately copying Apple nowadays. Back in the day it was like a 50/50 with who had which phone, Android or Apple, but nowadays everyone's got an iPhone and I can't blame them, I do too. I used to have an S8+, but despite being a really cool phone it broke after a few weeks because I accidentally dropped it and then 2020 came around and suddenly all good Android phones vanished, so I bought an XR and haven't switched back to Android since, even after trying an S21, which I absolutely hated using. I really don't even like how Apple handles things especially with their isolated OS, but I hate how Android phones look like nowadays and how they slowly loose everything that made them stand out against Apple.
I wish they'd replaced the headphone jack with a second usb port - this way it could still be used for headphones, but also could charge at the same time, better for DeX, just all around making the phone a more capable productivity device.
personally, apple's accesories quality has been getting worse, but samsung's reputation for accesories is another level of Worst, they dont fit and virtually causes anxiety because it feels like a 2 dollar case on design, and their phone lineup except the ultra phone they make look all the same for the past 4 years, not to mention their OS, they stopped adding features to it since 2019 and they are becoming more apple like each passing year, I wish they kept the innovation and design philosophy onward from S5-S9 Note, but That's a hard no I guess, really sad days for tech Tbh
I really don’t know what do everyone mean when talking about good design. Most people don’t even know what a good design is. The reason everyone copies Apple and why Apple works is because they are the only ones who successfully stablished a design language for all their hardware products. In my opinion, Samsung never achieved that, they were close back in the S8 to S10 era, but even then, there was a huge difference in the language of each of their products. Google was doing good and then they just released the amongus iPhone… honest to god. Don’t get why companies think changing everything from one year to another is innovative. Stick to one thing and refine it, find the lines applicable to all your devices and keep them across all your devices! It’s doesn’t have to be exactly like Apple!
Damn what such an underrated Channel everything you said was a w it's really dissapointing that only you and other small UA-camrs talk about this unfortunate fact while the bigger UA-camrs are supporting it or hiding it and not only Samsung is affected by such disaster even car manufacturers, movies and other brands are too and This trend should Stop asap
I never would have thought Apple, the company infamous for removing the headphone jack and introducing the era of predominant blue tooth earbuds, are now giving us extra buttons on their devices. Samsung just keeps doing small incremental steps every year especially with their Foldables, and relying on the AI hype. GIVE US BUTTONS SAMSUNG.
The original galaxy buds were great. They were so comfortable i could wear them all day. The galaxy buds pro came out, and i wanted them for the sound cancelation and better audio, but they feel TERRIBLE. They constantly fall out of my ears, and they start hurting after like 30 minutes. Genuinely horrible design. Honestly its a good thing they switched to the apple "inspired" design because at least the airpods are actually super comfortable.
I used every note series except note 7. And then I moved to S series. Present phone is fold 5, maybe this is the last Samsung phone I'll ever use. Very disappointed with everything that's happening with Samsung phones in recent years.
Ironically people want to give Apple shit for "selling the same phone" as if Samsung isn't doing the same thing across various price points. Like???? The entire A and S series look the same because of the camera arrangement.
This is what I'm trying to say. Samsung is doing the EXACT same thing. When apple releases a pretty cool feature, everyone makes fun of it, and you kind of have to just go along with it. But when Samsung releases a cool feature, everyone praises it and loves it. It's like there's more Samsung glazers than apple glazers now
I think phones are becoming stagnant with their design, not that they can’t innovate but because there is nothing to change only to add. Unlike the older generations, there wwre a lot of things to add but now almost everything is already on it. We are actually seeing the carcinisation of phones starting from the screen. They are big screen, thin bezels, brighter screen, and more vibramt colors. Likewise that same goes with the camera. At this point changing the layout of the camera, adding additional buttons, and experimenting with colors are the best things they can do. Well they can redesign but at the end it will only a matter of time before they all look the same and again because of “carcinisation”.
I miss the old samsung, the galaxy note edge is still my favourite phone I've ever owned, followed by the note 9. Looks like the s23u I have right now will be my last samsung phone if they continue like this. Also, removing the rotating bezel is like removing the one thing that made their watches unique. The first time I saw a picture of the new watch ultra I genuinely thought it was a joke. At least I'm not the only one frustrated by this new direction the company is going in
I like my S23, especially its compact size by modern standards and how all models have a Qualcomm chip. I also don't like curved screens and coming back from a curved to a flat one feels very refreshing. My perfect phone would basically be the S23 but with a hidden under-display or pop-up front camera, square display corners, a headphone jack and a thicker body which flattens out camera bumps and makes room for a slightly larger battery. Expandable storage and two front facing speakers would also be welcomed. I didn't go for Sony devices which have most of these features because I had quality problems with my past Xperia and I've seen many other people complain about it too. Samsung also beats Sony in the software department with, imo, OneUI being a better skin and having way longer promised updates.
Removing the Headphone Jack was not a lame move. It was a marketing (and greedy) move. The purpose was to force to buy their air pods, just like that other greedy company with the apple did.
I agree basically with everything except the watch ultra name. While the design was clearly inspired by Apple, Samsung uses the Ultra branding on their phones and tablets and it makes sense to use it on their watch. It certainly makes more sense than the galaxy watch 5 pro. So While I don't like the fact that it looks like a Apple watch I think that the ultra name is not a problem
When android came out, it was a golden era for samsung & sony, they were on par with Apple, up until chinese phones lowered the value of Android OS... and now Android is associated with cheap
I had an S9+ from 2019 - it was amazing!! 4k screen, amazing 60fps 4k recording option, great 12mp camera. It sadly died last year, and I now have a Redmi 12.. with a 50mp camera that looks terrible, only 30 fps. :/
Hey, I'm loving the S24 Ultra! It's about time Samsung came out with a phone that isnt boring. I don't get why people say their new devices look like budget iPhones. They're not much cheaper, and they definitely don't feel any less well-made. I'm cool with them releasing something unique like the S24 Ultra every few years. I don't mind the models in between that attract iPhone users because it's good for Samsung and for us users, too. More money for innovation and a wider network for Find my Devices. I hope the next top-tier watch has a rotating bezel again. I've never had one on my Samsung watches, but I've played around with one and feel like I've been missing out. The S24 Ultra with its S Pen and a Watch... 7 Ultra? (with a rotating bezel!!!) would be the ultimate Samsung experience. Crossing my fingers that bezel comes back just in time to upgrade.
Personally i think samsung flip mini display is much more aesthetically pleasing and more thoughtfully designed than the full display of any othe flip phone
I'd argue the heart rate sensor was not a "useless feature", as you put it. I lost my S10+ last July, but I relied on that sensor during my workouts or to monitor my mother's blood pressure. It was also handy when taking selfies.
Note 9 was the finest Samsung's moment. Everything started going downhill after that. The S10 series was the moment of stepping on the breaks and then the dreadful S20 and Exynos 990 happened
I agree with the others in the comments about the s8 and note 9. Infrared iris scanner. All of the health features of the galaxy watch were integrated into the phone. Head phone jack. Highly accurate fingerprint scanner. All at an affordable price
My favorite phone design ever was the Galaxy S10 Plus. It was just so perfect: the dual selfie camera, the centered back camera, the bezels that look more infinite than the 'infinite' bezels on today's flagships, and the Bixby button (I know Bixby wasn't the most useful assistant, but they could've worked on it).
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING THIS! I'm so glad I'm not the only one who noticed this triend, especially post 2020. It always makes me so mad seeing what samsung has become, and especially how many ppl mindlessly defend it. Ty for spreading the word 🙏🙏
I owned a Galaxy S8 and it was one of the most beautiful phone I've ever used. It had a cool design, heartrate and oxygen sensor. Lightweight and nice curved screen. Now all their phones just look same, Its hard to tell difference from the back even between premium and mid range phones.
I miss the early/mid 2010s, they had the best smartphone design as every tech company tried out stuff to see what worked, they just don't take risk anymore
I had an S8 and switched to an iPhone XS back in 2022. The s8 was a fantastic looking and designed phone but Samsung pissed me off with the limited software support. It only got 2 years of software updates and was stuck on android 9. I loved having android but hated Samsungs implementation of it. The XS was a huge step up and I feel is way more useful today than the equivalent Samsung phone. Currently on the iPhone 13 Pro which has been fantastic but looking to try out the pixels at some point
I feel like the removal of the earphone jack was nothing even back during that time. It was only really a big problem cause Samsung flamed apple for it and the note was meant to do it all. The note 10 plus was one of the greatest phones in history right next to the note 9. The S20 was truly the start of new Samsung where they just released obviously half baked features and design
Samsung only focuses on their mid-end and foldable phones today. A35 and A55 look and feel just like the regular S series. They also pack the most competitive specifications in their price range. Their foldable phones look fresher each year with better flexible glasses, hinges, and designs. They may not be huge changes, but they make the phones way more durable. The designs and materials used are also fresh changes. While S24 and S24+ feel like overpriced budget flagships. It's been going on since the S21. Current S23 and S24 have the exact same designs with the older S21 and S22, minus the camera frame. Their A and M series also have the exact same design. Not to mention they also ditch the curved displays on the S series since the S21. I'm a Samsung fanboy through and through, but Samsung is not the brand that we used to know. They used to listen to what we want, but now they go the Apple way. I do wish they receive huge decrease in sales, so that they'll listen to what the consumers want again.
One of the disappointing admissions is Samsung was WAY more fun and useful when they were made of plastic. They had features that were fun; heartrate sensor. My Galaxy S4 had smart alarm, you'd be able to answer the phone by waving your hand over the screen and it'd answer on speaker [assumed your hands were wet/dirty], you could swipe on any contact to call or message them [this is now only available in the contacts app], it would call someone if you were in a text conversation or had their contact card open and you put the phone to your ear. Plenty of other features that were fun, but were admittedly half-baked, Samsung instead decided to increase build quality [welcome] but instead of improving on those features, just abandoned all of them and basically made an iPhone. Just doesn't seem like the fun innovative Samsung, that I've known.
All of your points are legit, but the silver lining to these minimal changes is your phone looks newer for longer! Between that and 7 years of updates they're kind of incentivizing you to just hang on to your current phone for longer.
The moment when Samsung follow Apple to remove the headphone jack I knew it's so over for Samsung because they the only brand that could fight Apple at that time
And you forgot to talk about how they *removed the SD card slot* from S21 onwards! Like... um... Apple, who never had one? I get that 256GB is plenty enough for many things, but being able to _remove_ the card helps with so many things (from copying large files to getting your data off of your broken phone). And the A lineup still has it!
Its been over for....8 years now 💀 but honestly every phone brand has lacked innovation maybe except for Huawei that seems to be pushing some boundaries
I gotta say it’s refreshing hearing people voice the same concerns about Samsung that they do Apple. People constantly complain that Apple is selling the same phone year after year and that it’s not worth updating anymore especially with the iPhone 16 not being a massive update. Samsung usually slips away undetected because of their foldables but tbh they’re just as guilty. The S21 to S24 and most of their budget phones all look the same.
Great Video! as someone who was an iPhone user in the early 2010's I was always intrigued by the innovations Samsung was pushing. I finally got a Galaxy Note 10+ shortly after that launched and it was a phenomenal experience. I know you said that it was when the decline started but I loved everything about the phone (except that the headphone jack was removed), and now I hate to see Samsung just make iPhone-looking knock-offs and I hate that it stifles innovation and restricts what the phones can do.
To make you feel better the s25 ultra is getting slightly rounded and its only about time where the s ultra becomes fully round and boxy design dies. Lol where is samsung
i also enjoy their styling on c. 2012 products, like their home theater systems, TVs, and, of course, the S3. Also i have a 2012 Samsung laptop that has the same brushed plastic back finish as the S3 and i think it looks quite nice.
Phones have peaked a long time ago. I dont want no damn experimental phone. I dont get how much unique you can make a rectangle slab. Bro couldn't even give a valid complaint about the laptops nor tablets. Entire video just seems like nostalgia glazing.
Samsung had to follow suit. Continuing to give much more in in terms of in box accessories, physical hardware, or software, than their competitors would make them come across as a needy and desperate. There's a certain aura that a company gets when they tell their consumer, "screw you, you're still going to buy it anyways". That makes them seem more prevalent. Samsung didn't want to continue being known as the "more bang for your buck brand." it's psychological.
Samsung literally regressed themselves so hard into a brand that has absolutely zero unique selling points over Apple, or even worse, any other phone at all.
I'm watching on my Z Fold5 wondering what lack of innovation you're referring to. And I have the S Pen. Yeah, the 6 isn't much different, but I heard the next Apple mod is an 8 track.
I understand this video is an opinion, but come on!!!! If you have nothing to say, don't waste people time with an interesting video title and say nothing. I watched up to 4:38 You called a feature useless yet complained when it was removed... what do you want?
I did get the Z Fold6. I did get the Galaxy Buds Pro 3. I did not get the Galaxy Watch Ultra. There is no denying that they are copying Apple. I am disappointed but I am still happy with my products...
The buds 3 really dissapointed me because my own galaxy buds 2 being cheaper than my airpods pro still had better passive noise cancellation and more bass because of the design . But oh , well it was good while it lasted

they know exactly why they did that. how can you listen to your music if you can't plug in your headphones? oh yeah, you go buy their earbuds.
Money
tech companies copy apple's worst decisions. copy it's consistency? no ❌ copy removing the chargers and headphone jack? yes ✅
Buy an IEM (In Ear Monitor), and you can buy bluetooth adapters for them, this way if the battery dies, you don't have to throw out your expensive earphone.
I was genuinely so disappointed when I saw the watch ultra and the new buds... I'm genuinely considering switching to iPhone because I don't want my whole ecosystem to look like an Apple knockoff lmao
But the watch ultra design isn't a knock-off they did it earlier? And also watch makers also use that type of design
Maybe try another android?
@@Shiroe-_- Orange band, square outside, extra orange button, dark red version of the watchface in the dark, the name?? It's pretty obviously at least 'inspired' by the apple watch ultra
@@JokeJunction_haha actually I have been considering a google pixel for a while, forgot about those while writing this comment lol
@@buzzyy_bee1897 samsung did the that first in Samsung gear sport but the colour scheme and watchface isnt excusable though
The galaxy s9 was the last great phone they made without the stupid holepunch camera. Still miss that phone. There is no need to remove a headphone jack just because your competitors did.
Literally everything they made fun of they did... The headphone jack, the holepunch, the "double dongle" no charger
@@ThatIceChampion You hate Samsung and glaze apple. You can't even deny it. You are on every tech video hating on android. I'm genuinely thinking we are getting the same recommendations.

@@nottherealme9589 also, Samsung isn’t Android. OneUI is a crappy Android skin.
If im being honest the main reason why people bought the galaxy watch is because it doesnt have a square blocky looking screen its round and looks more elegant and then they just stopped doing it
Other brands have better sensors and accuracy on their watches
It still has a circular display, just the body's square and that specific design language has been around for decades in watches.
Yeah this exactly
bro their lead designers are Apple fanboys what did u expect from iSheep Samsung fell off hard after the galaxy S10 which is when they got this bum ROH💀
they removed the removable storage instead of improving it, they removed the headphone jack for vastly inferior Bluetooth e-waste, their tablets have a bezel thick enough for 2 cameras yet they still have a notch, they are getting rid of the boxy design next year, their very capable tablets have 1 port 1 USB-C 3.0 PORT NOTHING ELSE and the screen hasn't improved since the tab s5e 6 years ago 💀 next year they are going to ruin emulation compatibility by switching to a mediatek chip that is as powerful as the 8gen3 that would basically be a yearold at that point.

8:44 fun fact! Samsung actually has used that orange wristband way before apple in a past samsung watch, could be a coincidence tho
The design partially comes from the 2017 Samsung gear sport.
the ribbed design on the band indicates its a copy
All phones are just flat , boxy and lifeless.
@@voteDC Imagine if Rolex was just like... yeah sorry your watch is no longer supported, you have to buy a new one 💀
S24 Ultra is my favourite phone design they have ever made, a completely flat screen, minimal rounding on the corners of the screen + S-Pen.
You're completely right about the Galaxy watch line, it drives me nuts, they have such a great company identity with their rotating Bezel and it's why I and many others choose Samsung over their competition
I got a free watch 6 with my S24 Ultra and it just sits there because I'd rather use the Watch 4 Classic with Rotating Bezel and I know I'm not the only one who feels this way, I'm soo dam sick of Samsung neutering themself for no reason, if I wanted an Apple watch knock off I'd go on Temu
@@tanzilalislam9939> u don't get a curved display
thats an upgrade, more info available on the screen
but if the camera downgrade is true then thats quite unfortunate, zoom is really useful to have
With the right direction I feel like Motorola can make a strong come back. The new Razr is genuinely a good foldable phone. And their stylus phones are great if you're on a budget.
They should really focus on improving long term software support. I believe that’s the main issue with them.

This is precisely why I've kept my S10+ since i bought it in 2019. Im glad someone else out there realises how bad their new stuff is.
That’s the last good Samsung ever lol

The note 9 was my favourite phone of all time. I was sad that they removed the headphone jack afterwards
Is that what Samsung is doing tho? Sticking to one design and just refining it?
@@592Johno I literally said they never did that in the past, but their current strategy (Copying Apple) isn’t doing it either.

I like the clean designs the phone has now. I instantly recognized a Samsung phone now with the camera layout which they will keep.

It's like there's more Samsung glazers than apple glazers now
Frok hating on smaznug couldn’t see that one coming
Idk apple had the best shaped earbuds so im glad we finally got a proper Samsung equivalent.
2:39 galaxy a8s/a9 pro 2019 in the corner:
The S8/S9/S10, especially the S8 and S9 are by far the most beautiful pieces of tech I've ever used, plus OneUI on the S8-S10 are peak

I had an S9+ from 2019 - it was amazing!! 4k screen, amazing 60fps 4k recording option, great 12mp camera. It sadly died last year, and I now have a Redmi 12.. with a 50mp camera that looks terrible, only 30 fps. :/
The oneUI and the Spen is only reason why I'm stuck with samsung
Once you get in, you can't leave.
I hate Samsung now. Their midrange tvs got to be the biggest pos out there. Their phones are lame and their watches are overpriced for what they do.
I agree, not to mention the camera bump is almost non existent and I love the the all black camera design
Note 7 was truly samsung's peak. It went bad samsung juggled its spirit.
Beside the self starting fire tendencies... it was a very good phone for its time. I did almost buy it, but it did feel "to big" naive me.....
I like how he talks about the s20 like its dead when im watching this video
All of your points are legit, but the silver lining to these minimal changes is your phone looks newer for longer! Between that and 7 years of updates they're kind of incentivizing you to just hang on to your current phone for longer.
The Flip 2 was imo a phenomenal design. The flip series is one of the only cool modern phones imo
3:56 You omitted mentioning that the S20 and S20+ had plastic backs haha
7:18 those silver ones look like urinals at german highway pitstops 🥲
Lol where is samsung
yeah i agree, samsung has definitely become a "Let's copy Apple's homework but change it up just enough so we can call it our own thing."
i also enjoy their styling on c.
Don’t let him see the one ui 7 leaks
Yeah I really could've included 2020. The Note20U for me is just the epitome. And the TabS7 for tablets. Thats the cutoff
Samsung then: Original design,good looks
Samsung now: LG/Apple copy,bad looks.
Samsung literally regressed themselves so hard into a brand that has absolutely zero unique selling points over Apple, or even worse, any other phone at all.
I'm watching on my Z Fold5 wondering what lack of innovation you're referring to. And I have the S Pen. Yeah, the 6 isn't much different, but I heard the next Apple mod is an 8 track.
removing the charger is a very stupid move tbh
I understand this video is an opinion, but come on!!!! If you have nothing to say, don't waste people time with an interesting video title and say nothing. I watched up to 4:38
You called a feature useless yet complained when it was removed... what do you want?

I did get the Z Fold6. I did get the Galaxy Buds Pro 3. I did not get the Galaxy Watch Ultra. There is no denying that they are copying Apple. I am disappointed but I am still happy with my products...
Thts saddening the last few years has been saddening for technology for technology in general
I remember thinking the s7 plus in a metallic color was the best looking phone i ever saw
I still have my S10. Peak design, and they fell off ever since they removed the headphone jack & Sd Card slot
The buds 3 really dissapointed me because my own galaxy buds 2 being cheaper than my airpods pro still had better passive noise cancellation and more bass because of the design . But oh , well it was good while it lasted
samsung is trying to play the game safe ig...
I mostly buy Apple, but those curved displays were so cool I really wanted to switch.
Samsung used to be pretty wacky, especially when you look at things like their UMPCs back in the day
