Being alone for the holidays might be the greatest gift you have ever received. Rejection is a gift of saving your time, money and aggravation.

Golfed xmas a.m. with 4 buddies this year. All 4 of the guys divorced and between 2 of them there was 7 weddings. We laughed our ass off and enjoyed the round.....enjoying freedom. Peace, Quiet, and Freedom. Timmy C Arizona

That sounds ideal. I used to skip on to a local golf course with my brother to play a round on Christmas Day when we were young. Only free round of the year.

I have been alone for All Holidays since Christmas 1997, when my wife left. That one was very hard, but the rest have been so much easier and less stressful.
Thank You for the video and Happy New Year 2024!

42 years old. Still play ice hockey twice a week and hit the gym three days/week
Consistency is key. Much like life, half the battle is just showing up.
2024 is gonna get wild. Keep your head straight men and listen to wise words from George.
Been watching since before the Plandemic. There is a reason for that

Being alone for the Holidays makes it obvious that there is an absence. If you did everything you could to prevent the absence then try to enjoy the holidays by Synchronicity. Tapped into what is happening around you and make the most of it.

2024 is gonna be the year of renewal for me. Me and wife are separating but my health has never been so good (lost 10 kilos and gained muscles) and my career is the best I've ever known since I started to work. 38 years old but standing strong amidst the pain of separation. Holidays have been good because I was surrounded by family and friends supporting me, even those I wasn't present enough for these last few years.

☕️🥢👍 😊 A token of appreciation! Yes, first Christmas, and New Year’s without my brother, Norman. I am just so grateful I have my mom with me, so we can walk through this together, but mostly for me to be a comfort to her… she has now lost two sons and I am her only child left. I don’t know which hurts more, my loss or feeling her loss.

Life gives us all hard things to deal with and overcome. If you are feeling lonely embrace the situation and realize it is only temporary. There will be a day when you are with someone that loves you and what you are going through now will make it all sweeter.

Also, i lost my dad last year, we were never close, but the recliner is still there. And my little sister cant bring herself to donate/toss his old clothes.
Its painful. But he wouldnt want us/you sitting around and being sad. He is with Him. He couldn’t be in a better place.

This year will be my first holiday season without my Wife since cancer took her in March of 2024.
It’s going to be tough as well as her birthday coming up next month.
My oldest biological Daughter is pregnant and she is due on my Wifes birthday- how special is that.
Shes naming the baby after my Wife…..with. A letter A at the end -Joanna.
My youngest Daughter is also pregnant with a boy and shes going be a total wreck without her Mom to be there.
My wife was a pediatric nurse practitioner so she was always heavily involved in my Daughters pregnancies.
Gonna be a really tough year for holidays especially for the grandkids and my Girls but we will get through it.
I know my Wife would want us all to be closer to one another as a result and we’ve already accomplished that quite well.
My Wife was like a rock for the entire family -so sweet yet dead pan serious and would just have the answer to any problem almost instantly and effortlessly.
The most intelligent person Ive ever known and people looked at her in such disbelief as to how things came to her so instantly.
She immursed herself in books from a very young age to escape a very rough childhood from a Mom that never wanted to be married and a Husband that cheated as a result , lots of abuse, neglect and put in harms way a lot.
Books were her escape and when her gaze met mine in the ninth grade hallway it was like a lightnjng bolt went through me.
She told me she felt the same thing.
We rescued each other and we wasted no time starting our life together at such a young age.
We became like a married couple and had our own place by the time we graduated high school and immediately got married a month after graduating.
The caterer she worked for catered our wedding for free and the whole deal cost us $1100.00.
Not many men can say they had a perfect marriage but I can….33 years , 11 grandkids, a dozen foster kids , two biological kids and five adopted, all by age 52.
Still young enough to do everything with them till that god damned cancer effing took her away.
The first time I’ve been without her since 14 years old.
Luckily Im a tough SOB with Russian heritage and Im getting on with life alone.
Its funny because my father in law, Her Dad has been divorced from her mother for 25 years now and he made a comment to my wife before she died that he hopes Im not going to be running around aimlessly crying like a little lost puppy dog if something happens.
Well….he just called me again this morning crying for his Daughter after driving a certain stretch of road that he used to call my Wife on all the time while they were both driving to work.
He told me he didn’t think it would be so hard but little things like that just trigger him and he said he know how I feel and that its probably way worse for me.
I told him its getting better but I still get triggered and Ive learned to tell people Im fine as long as I dont talk about it……usually when friends ask me about things in public and I dont feel like getting emotional.
Sorry for the rant….I’m just one of the lonely guys now that was blessed to have a one in a billion marriage with a total angel from heaven.

Short story we split in June then tried again in October we were doing ok but her daughter from a previous is a pain in the arse at 21 she knows how to wind me up and I’m too dumb to ignore her crap for long so I bite back not angry not violent just my smart mouth shutting her down the missus takes her side understandable she’s blood. Anyway in the latest fall out the missus told me her daughter was close to going to the police about my intimidation bullying and standover tactics ffs I’m 5 foot 6 I can’t stand over a snake so I quit I told em both I’m not gonna go to prison over her next bullshite accusations my arse is no knob pocket for a gang banging lifer so that’s me done that was the weekend before Xmas so the whole hols I’ve been on my Todd lucky I enjoy my job I’m good at what i do I love what I do so I threw myself into it. Great advise this mate cheers at 58 I can’t even think about trusting a woman again I’m over all the baggage
