That towel was giving me anxiety 🤦🏻♀️
"Oiamiga" means "hi, friend!" In portuguese 😊
Thank you for pointing that out! I love when viewers engage with the content and share their knowledge. You’re awesome!
I was wondering why an UK based hair dye had a very "brazilian" name. That's a common expression here.
@@KarllaKatharinyRios maybe a Brazilian/portuguese entrepreneur or someone who sympathizes with the culture are my guesses
@@hair-buddha you're awesome too 😀 I learned so many things about hair care with you! You saved my hair from total destruction lol ❤️
Thank you!
What a lovely young lady though 😊 Refreshingly different than the ones who shriek, scream and preen at the camera with insta style learned behaviour as they don't know What they're doing either but have to act about it. She just seemed to be genuine and lovely 😊❤
She did say cool instructions are on the inside of the box right?? She must not have read them, because WOW😮 that application is a horror show?😂😂
charcoal shampoo is made of activated charcoal and is used as clarifying shampoo to remove product build up
I never understand why they buy 1 box. I have shoulder length hair and I buy 3 boxes. I would rather have too much than not enough.
It’s always better to be prepared! Having extra boxes means you can touch up whenever you need without a last-minute rush.
100%
Way back when I was a teen with no guidance buying too many boxes was default good sense.
Absolutely, I've got super fine hair that's mid back length and I always buy 3 or 4 boxes, but only me x one box at a time. That way the extra can be my root touch up after it's grown out.
Definitely my sister used to do it with one very thick hair and comb it. Never comb it all that does it rip your hair out.
I've never seen an application of hair dye done so horribly bad!!! I have second hand embarrassment!!!
Oh I have seen bad applications, but this was in the top 3
@@hair-buddha I've never ever dyed my natural auburn very curly and very long hair, and I know that I would need at least 4-5 boxes of dye!!! And SECTIONS!!!!
😂
😂😂😂😂
Thank you for putting this. Sometimes i feel bad for the companies having their product used so incorrectly. The bad results aren't always the product's fault.
Good morning everyone!
Good morning! Hope you're having a fantastic day ahead!
I got my hair dyed with a purple gradient with my natural dark blonde hair on top about 6 months ago. My cousin had a cosmetology license, so she did it for me and it was great. After a lot of fading, I needed a desperate touch up, but she wasn't available. I bought Arctic Fox Purple AF and did it myself. After watching your videos, I knew to start from the bottom and take fine sections. I only went over everything that was previously colored, plus a tad more just to help blen and it came out amazing. If it wasn't for your videos, i wouldn't have had the confidence to do it myself.
I've used this brand before and was super happy with it. Mind you, I actually read the instructions...
😂😂😂
Growing out my natural white hair, as my previous beautiful red fades… while I miss my ginger, I’m embracing this new chapter! I play with temporary color but will never use permanent dye again. I would love a good temporary product recommendation, though! ❤❤❤
me too same boat.
Are u in uk?
What do you think about just adding color to the ends? I am growing my hair out too, and wanted a fun color on the ends like green or blue.
@@anastasialiberate3568 no, U.S.
I honestly don’t think it looks that bad. It suites her. She just needs one more application.
YES! Vaseline..when I used to dye my hair I ALWAYS put vaseline around my hairline and on my ears.
I put clingfilm around my ears 😂
@@nixm9093 Whatever will work right, that's all that matters.
A massacre! Love it❤ Thank you Hair Buddha for your teaching us about hair! Happy Monday 😊
I'm glad you enjoyed the video! Hair care can be a journey, and I'm happy to share what I've learned. Happy Monday to you too!
Oh dear. I was screaming at the lady in your stead "take fine sections!"
As she says at the end "whoops!"
I love how you say charcoal 😂❤
I admire how brave people are❤
Reminding me of the movie Carrie 🩸🩸🩸
Oh gosh you're right.
The colour really suits her. I hope she redoes it to correct the patches.
I am just confused why she just wanted her sculp all red cause she was only applying there then the lengths. I will agree I am too concerned about the application 😂😂😂
Hi HB. I so look forward to your videos 😍 They never disappoint xx
I so happy
@hair-buddha you should be 🥰
He's the best!! I found him in 2022...binge watched all and now watch every week
So cute how you pronounce charcoal ❤
That's exactly what I was thinking 😁
Have an amazing week everyone 💜😊
You too.
Thank you! Wishing you an amazing week as well!
@@hair-buddha thank you
Ditto
In my country ALL the hair dyes have the instructions printed inside the box 😅
It was actually redder than I expected but she definitely needed more than 1 box.
Why do they always buy one box? I buy 3 or 4 of the color tubes or boxes. You're going to need to do your roots in a cppl months anyhow.
Exactly, I usually mix too much and probably over saturate, but I've never had an uneven result
Mine is to my butt and I'm about to start my dye job in 20 minutes. I have 4 ready to mix and 4 back up. I will never get caught without enough dye again!
This is becoming painful to watch 😂😂😂 I want to jump in and help her ❤❤❤
I hear you! Maybe we should start a "Help Her Out" fund-donations of good vibes only! 💖
I have fairly large hands, I wear a gloves size 9, and when I buy hair dye the gloves in the box are never big enough so I just keep a separate box of disposable gloves.
I think the colour suits her very good!
Red on her face and shoulders looked like a horror movie 😳 brought to us by Hair Buddah ❤️
Good morning Hair Buddha! Coffee and HB videos☕❤
Thank you for the morning love! Enjoy your coffee and I hope my videos bring a smile to your face!
Hair Budda you are too funny with your comments 😂
Thank you so much! Your kind words mean a lot to me. I love spreading a little laughter in the comments!
Hair clips to separate sections of hair are cheap at the drug store. A rat tail comb and root applicaror brush cane be found cheep on Amazon. Latex gloves that fit are a bit expensive, but if you die your own hair all the time, it is worth it. I've been doing it myself for 25 years, and it's the back of my head I have truble separating into sections, the front and sides I've got down. I've had hair at my knees and hair at my shoulders when dyeing. It takes 2 - 5 boxes depending on the length of my hair. I unfortunately can't afford to spend $350 - $700 (depending on salon) every month to make sure my hair looks decent. I learned by watching my mother do hers and paying attention at the salon to how the hair dressers were dyeing my hair. When I would treat myself on special occasions.
I’d buy a second box asap and add it all to the length. Seems like many people will try it at home, buy one box, say “oops” then leave it! 😂
I just went from Jet Black to a caramel brown. Don't worry I been a hair stylist for 25 years. I didn't use bleach! Of course u know that I don't need bleach to go a caramel brown color. When I get back from shopping a Ultra .I'll change my picture and put it up, so you can see it. Keep in mind I'm 48 ,so I'm not young like all these other girls on here lol!😅
I guess I was lucky my mother was a hair stylist in the 50s because by age 12 I was doing proper sections with bleach by myself. I don't understand why they don't even read directions or watch some videos!
What, if any box dye do you think is the best?
Schwartzkopf is really good! It's the only brand I've tried that doesn't fade out of my hair. I dye mine blue black and they have some really pretty shades of the blacks as well as all the other colors. But if you're looking for semi-permanant than I'd go with arctic fox or the O.G. Manic panic!
Hope this helps you on your hair dying journey!!
direct pigments wash out of towels with ease at 95°C 👌
The famous just squirt it on the head and squish it in the hair and hope for the best method 😂😂😂 Why did she also think it was a good idea to wear just a towel?!
Good morning ❤
Good morning! Hope your day is off to a great start!
What’s the ‘Corchael’(?) thing HB is talking about, please?
Edit:
Nvm, I think he means Charcoal- in shampoos and bleaches.
My bad.
Awww bless her, she's very sweet, but yeah that application was a horror story. And red takes aaaaaaaaages to rinse clear.
Happy Monday!! Hope you all have a blessed week.
Thanks! Wishing you a productive and joyful week ahead!
If you want a healthy, natural, vegan, cruelty-free, chemical-free dye that doesn't fade, run, or wash away quickly, use henna. It also restores your hair if it's damaged, gives you volume and shine, and looks much more natural overall. I use henna and cassia obovata to dye my hair copper and once you see and feel the difference, you will not go back to chemical dyes.
Absolutely! Henna really does work wonders for hair health and color. It's amazing how much of a difference it can make!
Love how you say charcole ☺️😘
I've learned that you always buy extra dye, because you never know. I have thick hair and it soaks up dye.
Absolutely! It's always better to be prepared, especially with thick hair. You never know when you might need that extra dye!
Love the mini me voice. 😂 Great to know about the shampoo.. I have blonde grey hair.. I buy 5-6 boxes.. ❤❤
The colour at the end kinda suits her would have been even better if she had help with it or more even application etc
Oiamiga is Brazilian portuguese for "Hi girlfriend"😂. I do my hair without leaving half the dye in my body. You wouldn't know I did it 1 min before you enter my bathroom.
I LOVE your channel ❤
Thank you so much! I’m really glad you enjoy the content!
@@hair-buddha And I'm improving my English a lot (I'm from Spain) ♥️ this Channel is 2x1
The first question that comes to my mind is : WHHHYYY posting that on the internet ?!?! XD
Hello and good morning from Costa Rica, Mr Buddha!!! ✨💖💇♀️🪮✨
Good morning from Belgium! Hope you're enjoying beautiful Costa Rica!
6:48 Well, obviously Hulks hands😂😂
@hairbuddha I'm confused, she is talking about charcoal shampoo (houtskool) which is known for its "pulling dirt" effect out of just about everything. But you talk about "corchal". Is it a mispronunciation?
Never seen that make before 🤔
Looks a very vibrant red - think it will suit her 🤞
I've always done the hair tie trick with those damn gloves, always wayyyy too big! ❤ Been doing it for 5 Years (:
Oh bless you i understand you want a change i have breast cancer and I've just had a mastectomy and my hair is black dyed while off work im wondering if I should let it grow out love to go red i don't know if i have to have chemo if so it will grow back Hair Buddah I wish you were near id love to have my hair done by you xx
Hair buddha I hope this reaches you i love your videos!!!! I have been getting blond highlights for 20 years!! Light blonde and no lowlights. My roots are now an inch out and its been nearly 4 months since my last set of highlights. I really want to let my natural colour grow out but my bleached hair is annoying me! My roots are brown. I was thinking of putting the moroccan oil colour depositing mask in either platinum or rose gold just to do something. Would you approve of that or should I just leave it ? 🙈 Hope to hear back from you x
Or can I do anything to the bleach whilst not touching the root ?
I color my hair since many years only with direct pigments and it is no problem at all to remove the stains from my facial skin with a little pressure using a damp microfiber cloth or damp towel. With nail polish remover containing acetone you can easily remove pigment stains from all surfaces.
By the way, it is not true that the pigments wash out less with cold water. The shampoo is responsible for quickly washing out the pigments from the hair. I only wash my hair with warm water and massage the scalp underneath. My hair is super clean, shiny, much more voluminous and the deep blue that I wear doesn't wash out much even in 6 weeks, but since I then bleach the roots again, I of course have to apply the pigments then to my hair by mixing it with fatty hair treatment. Two times of this treatment and I have an even blue color from root to tip. I repeat this every six weeks and my hair is deep blue all the time.
I tell you, Shampoo is really unnecessary, it only damages the hair because it washes out all the natural care that our body gives to the hair and we then have to use external care products.
I am a daily endurance runner and therefore shower daily and wash my hair thoroughly with warm water only. My very fine, straight hair has become thicker, more voluminous and shiny since I don't use shampoo anymore. 🙂
I'm used to stained towels and pillows XD I have special towels only for my colored hair. Pillows? They are mine, in bedroom and not for watching by anyone. I knew what will happen, but I it is a part of the vibe I guess XDD
Oops! He wasn't looking when she flipped her hair back and got red spots on the back wall (and probably ceiling)!
Wow that is one job and a half such a sweet young lady
When I dye my hair, I always buy more than I need. This was a real disaster & I feel sorry for her 🙁Thanks Hair Buddha 😊👍✂️
Macbeth! 😂
😂😅
HELLO, YOUNG MAN...I've learned a long time ago...buy my OWN LATEX GLOVES😂😂❤..they still haven't improved with those crazy HUGE gloves, that come with the dye😂
It's always a good idea to invest in your own gloves! Comfort and fit can make all the difference in your experience.
Ish, i don't need to see anyone talking with food in their mouth.
The color is nice for her skin tone.
A Massacre...😂
I wish her attire would’ve been different a T-shirt something then what she was wearing. Then after she had done her hair and started eating during her video that was kind of gross hearing her chew it was just a mess. The whole thing was just a mess.
I guess she thought she is by herself so who cares. 🙄 Once people start to talk with their mouth full of food, I’m out.
Thankyou
For what a drama this was application wise... it's not that bad😅
I love how you say charcoal 😊😊😊
Magic eraser and gel hand sanitizer, it will remove color of of skin and counter tops
I realize with an all over color, especially with fine hair, and not a lot of it (hello, same as me) she can get away with sort of slathering it on in larger sections.
Unfortunately, she's massaging like it's shampoo and not working product through her hair!
"Looks like a massacre" 😂😂😂😂😂😂
A Hemingway novel.
1:49 Stop calling yourself out girl. It's embarrassing.
But I know a lot of people that have had the same experience with coal toothpaste and the grey foam🙈
Being Hair Buddha has to be so frustrating…sections! Very few do sections…and apply to the lengths then the roots. 🙄
Shouldn't charcoal shampoo be detoxing and clarifying? At least that's what they promote here
Why do people always apply hair color like it's shampoo?? This really drives me nuts!!
It's definitely a common trend that leaves many of us scratching our heads! Proper application can really make a difference in the final look.
Its a good colour for her. She just needs to apply it better. Henna might have worked better.
I really hate it when people eating infront of the camera !!!!
❤
💜
What is the last word you say in your video? Is it Dutch?
Does he mean charcoal shampoo
In the instructions for home hair colour, it always says to start at the roots, so misleading
4:08 This is supposed to be an application?😢 It's not a shampoo! But good job, if you want to dye your scalp
Oiamiga. Is it portuguese or brazilian?
It's made in the UK
It wouldn’t be bad if it was even 🤦🏽♀️ When will they learn how to apply it - aargh!!! 😫
It's Char-Coal. From 'coal'. And 'to char'. Charcoal. Not "coarchal".
OMG - what is she doing there? 😱
She would have had a better time applying it if she wasn't KEEPING A TOWEL UP - by only pinching it on with her pits. *THINK RANGE of motion*
This is really hard to watch. Grimace 😮
:)
So difficult to watch some of these 😅
I get it! Sometimes it feels like a workout for your eyes-let's just say I've got a few “eye squats” planned for the next video!
God, that was painful to watch.. I often wonder if these people filming themselves would have more success if they spent less time setting up their camera/phone, filming themselves and giving a running commentary and more time CONCENTRATING on the job in hand, when often they have never even dyed their hair before 🙄
Hahaha keep flinging you dyed hair like that and you'll need to paint your bathhroom!
🤣
Its so funny because all they have to do is take their smartphone and do a little research on how to properly dye/bleach hair. But they dont. They literally have an encyclopedia of everything in their hands, and they are still doing dumb things because they don't know any better. Ignorance 2.0!
If i had a smartphone when i was younger i would have taken the time to learn EVERYTHING.
Thank you 🙏 how she applied that dye was so annoying, no one is that useless surely, it gave off a, "You've been framed", vibe, just saying 🤔❤️ from 🏴
