**NOTES**
- Taylor Avery added that there's a variety of turquoise known as "Sleeping Beauty" turquoise which has no inclusions (like the black lines). This is really fitting for Venti since he sleeps so much! Reference: silversunalbuquerque.com/turquoise_mines/sleeping-beauty/
- Quick Correction: Lapis Lazuli doesn't exactly dissolve in water, but it is highly reactive with water and should generally avoid contact with it. It's not like Malachite, so that was a poor choice of words. Lapis Lazuli is technically made up of lazurite, calcite and pyrite, the latter two should not be exposed to water as they will break down and can be quite toxic. The gem itself is also slightly porous in its raw form and can end up acting somewhat soluble in water as a result. What's happening is that the calcite, pyrite and lazurite are just separating from each other.
This also means that the gem referenced here is likely JUST the lazurite component and not lapis lazuli as a gem.
Ash do you think it’s possible that paimon and the unknown god are actually two of the three moon/Rhine sisters? It’s a weird thought that I just can’t get out of my head since I can’t help but be reminded of the endless speculation about the unknown God’s identity. In the beginning of the game, prior to the dainsleif quest, our man goal as the traveler was to find the unknown god in order to find our sibling. Because it was such a mystery, there was countless people speculating that paimon was actually the unknown god since none of the archons in Teyvat seemed to resemble the unknown god in description or theme (especially since the seven archons have clear dominion over their respective elements and not the weird cube thingies we are attacked with at the beginning of the game). While that theory is still plausible considering that even people native to teyvat do not recognize wtf paimon is, after this video I can’t help but think about paimon and the unknown god in relation to the moon sisters. This theory could also serve as explanation to why exactly paimon is helping us in the first place as her motive for helping the traveler could ultimately be linked to her own desire to meet up with the unknown god.

@@ivyvega5110 I have the same feeling the mentioning of the sisters having a fight with each other would explain why paimon ended up in the ocean for the traveler to fish her out. would also explain why the goddess is attacking everywhere rhine goes. I don't think the locations are the real target. I think celestia is after rhine and the locations are just the unfortunate fallout.

Yep. I had a theory, for about 6 months, where Rhinedottir was attempting to usurp a secret, to be revealed later, character named Rhine. Unfortunately, with some new information from Albedo, I’ve placed that theory into the “nope” category

Ah, i knew it! When i heard her Name, it was like hearing Mondstadt for the First time. Something familiar, but a wrong pronounciation, so i didnt recognise it at First. (My First Language us german and Mondstadt has many german words) Also, good hob with the research! I woud have never known, that Rhine is the River Reihn.

Either way, we won't know for sure till we see her, but Genshin sure loves characters with multiple names. even the MC technically goes by a nickname / alias we decide, since the sibling calls us Aether / Lumine in We Will Be Reunited iirc

Hmmm... There are three Rhine Maidens. We know that Alice, Mona's master, and Rhinedottir are basically a coven. There are three of them. What if they're the Rhine Maidens? 👀

Also the fact that Alice knows a lot and have travelled to many places, Mona's master can read the stars, and Rhinedottir excels in alchemy. Pretty much their coven knows everything about Teyvat. They are pretty sussy.
I would remember though that Mona's master has a vision that Mona was able to use, then Mona had her own vision after some time. But what if the vision of her master was actually not her master's but just something that she can use just like how Mona can. 👀

The connection between the gnosis and a ring makes the final form of the statues of the seven all the more interesting.
Also makes the armillary sphere theory a bit more interesting

Highly entertaining that Ashikai got absolutely lost in the sauce about the moon sisters and biblical connections and the chess set, and then remembered “wait how does that relate to Rhinedottir exactly”
Here's some ideas with fun implications:
What if the Katherynes are all puppets like the Shogun and Scaramouch? She has a keyhole on the back of her neck, talks in computer when idle and none of them ever leave their post or become managers. Even in Mondstadt, where NPCs walk around and talk with each other, Katheryne is left alone to stare blankly forward until her services are required.
What if Aether and Lumine are 'creations' of Gold? All we know about them is that they arrived in Teyvat in the form of shooting stars before the Cataclysm, the chosen sibling was asleep up until the fall of Khaenri'ah and were sealed away for "the arrogation of mankind". The arrogance of man, when the travelers claim to be stars. So what if they landed in Khaenri'ah and were researched by Gold, who had an interest in the memories preserved inside? She would have transmuted the memories of the first star into the form of our sibling and only finished the player shortly before Celestia descended upon the secular nation.
If each archon is a chess piece with Celestia being their king, the disposable allogenes would be the pawns. However, in the event one of the useful pieces is killed, it can be replaced by a pawn. A pawn that has to reach the other end of the board. To reach the full power of an allogene in game, we must ascend them, or move them forward, six times. Just like a pawn.

The gold theory is really interesting when you consider the fact that many scientists believe that meteorites actually brought with them lots of minerals that are now on earth, including gold, I'll be it a meteorite and shooting star isn't a perfect comparison, but it is often implied that the traveler actually slept in a meteorite. While the Abyss sibling lived in Kanrieah (I hope I spelled it right😅) and after their incounter with the heavenly principles
I am half joking about this, but you said the rod, two rule tablets and a pot of manna was put in the ark. Manna is, to my knowledge, a form of sustenance that feeds the body and soul. Point being, our favorite travelling companion is a glutton, and maybe by finding this manna, it will fill the black hole she has for a stomach and restore her to power.

A black hole inside Paimon is really interesting theory.
Or you could call it more of a "void".. it's more like the emptiness Scaramouch feel after he lost the gnosis , since he was supposed to hold the gnosis, but proven too emotional to hold it, so it was taken away from him.
Also, since fox lady Yae already knew all of this, it seems she intentionally gave him the gnosis , knowing full well that's what he desires the most, and he was entitled to it... It's her own way of fixing the foolishness Ei did, since Yae is going into full intervention mode anyway.
Now talking about Yae, when she talked about Paimon, something in her tone told me she knows what Paimon is, or at least she have made an educated guess...
She was specifically giving her an advice to "learn more/study about human" for some reason or another.

The 13 pieces in Tafl work really well with the namecard: "Achievement: Colors of the Rainbow". The namecard depicts the seven currently known elemts, but the way they are place, they leave 5 empty spots.
Btw if u want to call ventis gemstone core a cut u can always say it's a cabochon cut. That's how most gems/nice looking rocks that usually can't be cut like zhonglis square cut is. Usually cabochon cuts are circular/oval which matches ventis and yes turquoises usually are cabochon cut, if fact u could say that ventis particular brand of turquoise is similar to that of a "sleeping beauty turquoise" where there is just the colour of turquoise with no inclusions. Kinda fits for venti who has a history of sleeping for a very long time

@@Ashikai no worries. I've been researching gems and everything I can about them for the last couple of months for a story I'm working on so I've become kinda of a nerd about it.
I was kinda curious as to what zhonglis stone was as u can get alot of yellow gemstones even in ones that the majority of people think are just one colour like sapphire, garnets, Beryl's, fluorite, citrines and I was hoping it be diamond as that is the hardest type of gemstone but when u mentioned it's said on ingame I saw it said topaz so mystery solved lol
I'm am curious what cut Baals piece is, my best guess might be triangle cut considering the electro symbol. I know Baals is a amethyst but I wonder if mihoyo is aware that amethyst can actually be found (mostly in Anahi) merged with citrine (as they are both quartz) to give Ametrine which typically is half purple half yellow which would match the two electro slimes colours. Probably will just be purple though buts i think it's good food for thought atleast :3
I really like your Ragnarok angle! It got me thinking: who could those “old” gods have been? Then I thought back to a dev interview a way back where they discuss the significance of artifacts in the game. They mentioned that each artifact represents a concept: Flower = Life, Feather = Death, Timepiece = Time, Goblet = Space, and Circlet = Mind. There are five artifacts, which we obtain by rejuvenating petrified trees, which have five crowns hanging above them. Celestia also seems really keen on destroying said trees, and doesn’t like humans interacting with them.
There are also five circular symbols at the very top of the domain tablets, with the central one also seeming to extend downward into a symbol that can be found in the design of the Ubiquity Net. Ubiquity, of course, being synonymous with “omnipresent”. Interestingly, the central artifact is the one representing time, the god of which seems to have mysteriously vanished from Teyvat, at some point.
Perhaps the Irminsul contain the essences of one or more dead/sealed “primordial gods” that Celestia really doesn’t want to see revived/released? Perhaps because these are the gods that whomever founded Celestia overthrew in order to create their sealed utopia, and whose stolen power they now use to control it?
In the manga, when Vanessa asks Venti about Celestia, he alludes to several Earth mythologies in which a god’s body is used to create the world. What if Teyvat is actually created from the god of time?
This is a bit of a stretch but if Dainsleif is a sword (due to his name being the same as a sword in Norse mythology as well as him being called the twilight sword) and also the second heir who’s story is stated in the gnostic chorus, he could have been the sword Kaeya’s grandfather picked up. Kaeya said it fell from the sky or celestia and this would make sense as Dainsleif coming to Teyvat would most likely be him descending to it, which to the people of Teyvat (like Kaeya’s grandfather) would look like a gift from celestia. Another variable is that Dainsleif was spiritually connected with the sword that we see him holding in the gnostic chorus. Like ei to makotos sword, Dainsleif’s soul could have been residing in his sword. And perhaps when he was descending to Teyvat he ran into celestia and was forced to part ways with his sword or accidentally did so for some reason we don’t know about yet. Which then Kaeya’s grandfather found and brought to K’hanriah with Dainsleif’s body (without a soul) following him in hopes to find his soul/sword which would later lead to him to becoming one of the royal guards of the last dynasty of K’hanriah.
As stated before, Dainsleif is called the Twilight Sword. Twilight is the mid way between day and night when the earth’s surface is neither completely lit nor dark like Yin and Yang ☯️ (and yes I copied that definition from Wikipedia). The darkness could represent celestia’s taint on him (with his clothes being similar to paimon’s and similar to the ones venti fears in the manga whereas the light could represent his noble origins coming from a different world or maybe even the fact that he’s human.
This is all just words on a page and has some holes in it, like if Dainsleif was part of Khanriah at least 500 years ago why would Kaeya’s grandfather be there and to that I say, yea idk either 🤡. Maybe kaeya could have been lying to us? He has done so before… anyway thanks for reading this I hope some parts of this has some merit in future stories.
Well with Enkanomiya been releasing in 2.4, I think you will need to make a part 5 of this series. And probably when Sumeru goes out, more parts. Enkanomiya seems very interesting and relevant for the lore and structure. The developers said themselves in the livestream that "it is in Teyvat but doesn't seem to be from the same world" and they also called it the abyss of Teyvat. Oh right, and the region is based on the concepts of lightness and darkness.
Yeah I mean they're all likely be more parts later on but insofar as like the foundational structure of the world I think I'll call the series done after part 5 which contains the actual complete theory itself. And I think I'll only make another part to the series if we get new information that's specifically linked to the structure of the world itself rather than something a little more localized. Like maybe we'll get more information on the world tree and I'll end up making a video on the world tree which relates to world structure but may or may not actually impact the theory that I had? Idk we'll see.

I once saw a theory that Dainsleif could be one of albedo's brothers so like:

Actually Kaeya's constellation is a peacock and there is like an in between stage and the magnum opus known as the peacock stage because it's for everything turns into a weird rainbowy shade. So you might not be that far off.

Always found interesting how the night login theme is called Dream Aria, thinking the Aria in the name was just a word for 'song', but with the big moon in the background, I'm starting to think it might be referring to Aria herself.
According to an article mihoyo made a while ago about the development of the login theme, one of the things they tried was having lyrics for the night theme, to make it sound like a religious chanting, with the words themselves having no meaning, but the very first word in said lyrics was "Aria".
In one of your vids you mentioned that albedo is a creation trying to emulate the traveller, In this vid you mentioned that the primordial god can control all elements, which the traveller can do so Rhinedotter trying to create the primordial god basically means that she tried to create the traveller. And the traveller is the primordial god.

Not like that .. it's more like the Traveller is an outsider, not created inside this mini world.. so he doesn't follow the rules of this mini world. If I recall right, he was described as "pure" by one of the characters.
Sooooo, what I think Albedo trying to make is another "pure" being, as someone not restricted by Tyvat rules, or principles, because Celestia have control over these principles, and u see how one sustainer could reset an entire nation like kinraiah .. etc
They are just trying to get around Celestia, and trying to get to the source world where this tree (and small Tyvat world around it) dropped from.
Traveler has to get a super boost at the end of the game

I think maybe the twins are khaenri’ahans that escaped the confines of teyvat and were stopped by the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles as she saw their actions as an abomination. Similar to the Tower of Babel in the book of Genesis.

I think Rhinedottir needs all of the rhinegold, all gnoses to complete the Primordial Human Project and Tsaritsa and the Fatui are siding with her, stealing all the gnoses to complete this project. Overthrowing celestia is a necessary part, as they have 5 of the 13 gnoses. Albedo could also be a catalyst to get to the final product, idk

It may be true the fact that Tsaritsa is siding with her to overthrow Celestia because Zhongli the oldest of the Seven Archons had decided to give away his Gnosis, Zhongli must have known as to why Tsaritsa was needing Gnosis to give it away.

I realized something from when you pointed out how the stones connected to the archons are amethyst, topaz and whatnot.
Since it’s been somewhat established that the Fatui need Crystal Marrow to create delusions, (and it has some resemblance to amethyst,) what if Crystal Marrow was needed to create delusions, but only specifically Electro delusions. I realized this as upon replaying on a new account, I rediscovered an interesting incident that happened on Xingqiu’s story quest which I didn’t notice upon the first time I did it. The Fatui were buying out Cor Lapis from Chang the Ninth through Gentry Maocai. They were asking specifically for Cor Lapis too. And Cor Lapis is Zhongli’s Ascension material. Can’t say for sure that Cor Lapis is Topaz but it sure as hell looks like it.
I don’t know if this has any bearing, but hey maybe there is a connection there.
Oh, I realized I didn’t elaborate enough lol. What if the Fatui need specific ores to create delusions, that are related to the original stones somehow? Like Crystal Marrow for Electro Delusions and Cor Lapis for Geo Delusions and so on.

I remember that you once mentioned about how the five rings in domains are probably related to the five Archons that ruled the Abyss according to Gnosticism. What things numbered in five that are related to domain? THE ARTIFACTS. Each artifacts represent something which is Life (Flower of Life), Death (Plume of Death), Time/Eon (Sands of Eon), Eonothem (Don't know what this is related to but it might be Space or World) (Goblet of Eonothem), and Wisdom/Mind (Circlet of Logos). We know that the God of Time exist so maybe the Heart of Naberius might be the gnosis of the God of Time. Either that or it might be the five white taffles in the Viking Chess.
I was thinking the sword that was dropped into the see was actually Travelers sword. When the twins face the Sustainer the abyss sibling keeps ahold of their sword while the Traveler let's go. Later during the We Will Be Reunited quest we see our sibling still has their sword while Traveler has a Dull Blade. I think Kaeya's grandfather actually found Traveler's sword.
As much as I love all of these ideas and they make a lot of sense and feel highly plausible I can't shake the feeling that Genshin's real story is more straight forward and simple and not nearly as cool as anything we would come up with. I just get this feeling all of us are overthinking it. That said in my head I will believe it us more intricate and complex because it is more fun until the game proves other wise. So far I feel like all the different theory videos I've seen are pointing to a similar point. One that I feel like you are hitting closest to and I want to be the actual lore of the game.
The main plot will likely be super simple yeah. But I'm more here for the world building than the plot. XD
It might be just a coincidence, but I recently unlocked Elysian Realm on Honkai and one of the characters we’re introduced to is Eden and her code name is Gold. She also used to be an actress and starred in plays which I find interesting as theatre was referenced in the video. I really enjoyed watching.
That thing about dissolving the subject before Albedo in Durin to try again by dissolving it is something that happened in Honkai. In the Elysian Realm at one point Dr. Mobius talks about her attempts to create synthetic life and how a failed experiment was tossed away to dissolve but managed to survive and became the Gray Serpent and how she allowed that to happen because she found it interesting. Maybe a connection or a narrative thing that Mihoyo likes idk

I love your analysis and Theories so much. Here you associated Paimon with one of the 3 moon sisters. I originally thought that Paimon has something to do with the God of time.
Like everything starts with Mondstadt:
- God of freedom and time looked after the region
- venti suspiciously sleeping for an amount of time
- Keaya was send by his father to Mondstadt, expecially to Dawn Winery
- head master of Favonius are in an expedition etc.
When we started the game Paimon was nearly drowning in the sea and we saved her. The start scene in here is also, where we see the unknown Island (which is not seen in the map and associated with a world quest). With paimon we can bring time forward but not backwards. She also claims to be the best Traver Gaiden, just like you said. And the moon is also connected to time, like the sundial from the quest (3am) and in the real world for ebb and flow.
Since Venti is also connected to them, in the archon quest Jean said in one scene, that the cryo archon would like poses venti powers or something like that. Has ist something to do with the fact, that venti can predict what may happened though time through the ballads and songs?
I believe that paimon is like you said one of the Moon goddess but also connected with the God of time or also the God of time herself, since a god can have more titles like Morax.
There's no reason why she can't be both. :D
I wonder if the Heart of Niberius could be one of the Ominous Swords from the Shattered Halberd Story... each sword bears an elemental rune from each realm, each forged from a chunk foraged from the Divine Halberd...
I wonder if the Ominous Swords could be the gnoses forged from a "superweapon of the heavens"...
And the achievment for completing the collection: "The Divine Halberd Mocks the Heavens"... Did the halberd turn on the heavens?

That's definitely possible! It's very difficult to decipher some of these in game books because it's hard to tell what's a metaphor and what should be taken literally. But there's a lot of repetition about swords and divine weapons so I'm inclined to lean towards the literal interpretation for those are concerned
A few things that caught my attention and stirred some thoughts:
- Albedo's line about glassblowing not being a widely known art in Teyvat makes me wonder if that means Albedo has been to other worlds? If so, where?
- There being three Rhinemaidens makes me think of Hexenzirkel and how we know that Mona's Master, Alice, and possibly Rhinedottir are all a part of it if I'm not mistaken?
- Some part of me wants to think that the Heart of Naberius might've been transplanted into Albedo because it feels like in Albedo's character story, he had no real emotions until recent memory. He seemed like a robot that followed everything Rhinedottir wanted, but after arriving in Mondstadt, he seems to display emotions and now from Shadows Amidst Snowstorms, he even questions his own creation.

I don't know why but glassblowing feels like an innuendo for homuncular creation. Since Khaenri'ah isn't technically part of Teyvat, teyvat isn't the whole world, it's a continent. After Enkamomiya we know anything away from the seven nations, or far beneath the surface would be considered 'the dark sea' if I remember correctly...which I probably don't.
This is a very direct interpretation but if you think about it, Khemia is used to create life, we know so since that's what albedo practices and learned from rhinedottir. She created him and breathed life into him. And except for Ei's shenanigans we don't hear of any other cases of homunculi being created other than Albedo. A high possibility that she herself knows khemia which isn't practised at all present day and used that.
So I think Humans aren't widely artificially created in teyvat but khaenri'ah.
The three being fill ins for the rhinemaidens makes a lot of sense. But by Mona's description of her Master, she only knows astrology and is good at it. So maybe she is skilled at it because she fills in for Sonnet. And there's a slim chance that Paimon is the powerless Sonnet. So maybe Master Hag can't be a fit because the holder of that position might be alive but for some reason uses a name that can only be used by an Archon [Archons are the only characters so far whose names are directly taken from the ars goetia, Nebarius being a form of one name, so maybe he could be related to Khaenri'ah(?) Since the ring/gnosis was in The Alberich family or Maybe the eclipse dynasty(?)]
And if Albedo being the most Human out of Rhinedottir's creations because he has the missing Gnosis in him. That could mean his knowledge isn't his greatest asset but also the 8th Element.
And that Rhinedottir either left him to discover truth of the world because maybe that's how he might transition into Rubedo(?).
Since Nigredo is the first and durin is dead and no other creation of hers but the rift hounds exist but I doubt she would use them to imitate the primordial God.
... how did it just strike me that the ruined city Lumine sees at 5:32 is really similar to the loading screen (except obviously destroyed and not floating). All those arches, bridges, and pillars.
Edit: Okay now that I've finished the video, I am 100% on board with a lot of what you say and the ragnarok chess thing sounds spot on and I love it. I feel like we've even seen references to things that happen in Ragnarok. Fimbulvetr definitely brings to mind dragonspine going from lush and hospitable to barren and frozen. The world serpent going into a rage and flooding the world isn't a perfect match, but still brings to mind the undersea kingdom of Enkanomiya and their connection to at least 2 giant serpentine beings (orobashi and the dragon heir of the depths). Plus the 2.4 livestream mentioned that Enkanomiya is very close to the abyss, which strikes me as important. Heck, maybe the dragon heir IS the border between teyvat and the abyss, making it a world serpent of sorts. And of course there's the deaths of the moon sisters and also the whole rifthound wolf thing.
When you mentioned the gold being forged, I thought of Mora 😂 since Mora is used in forging and Mora is a “catalyst of sorts” as well as bearing the triquetra symbol. Oop :0
yeah but mora was created by Zhongli so i think its very unlikely to be it.

Mora us created by the Geo gnosis, and likely this function is older than Zhongli himself..

I love your take on the heart of Naberius. It seems that whatever he was, he must have been an archon or at least had a connection with Celestia. Given all of this, I know a lot of people seem to think he was the former Dendro Archon but I've always had the feeling he was related to something else entirely.
Also, Naberius is a really interesting figure within the Ars Goetia. Hopefully we get to learn more about him in the future!
An idea that came to me while i was listening to this fabulous video is about the mention of Solomon's ring controlling the Archons or demons. Obviously most are probably familiar with the murals depicted on Tsurumi Island. The underground room that has 3 of them has these small depictions of people. At least i originally thought they were people, ushering to the important site of power and even climbing the mountain since you can see one of the tiny forms at the peak on one image.
HOWEVER, my assumption of them being people was thrown into question when in the very next chamber with a mural there's actual humanoids, one wearing a crown, and others but it also shows the same, or very simialar figures from the previous three murals confined in pyramids. Almost like their freedom was stripped or they were imprisoned within the tri-pyramids.
So yeah, i guess it fits kind of nice that a crown or ring was rested from somewhere and then used to bound other beings with.

The first thing that immediately jumped out at me was the word "twilight" from Twilight of the Gods (aka Ragnarok) which also shares the same Twilight as Dainsleif's title "The Twilight sword" which just got me thinking about the potential link that might have to the Twilight of the gods whether it be direct or not.
Is the reason he despises the divine because he was used by Celestia in some way? And he was potentially also spurned by the survivors of khaenri'ah because he betrayed them in some way? I dunno, just throwing out some brain jumble.
These theories are so cool. Genshin lore in general is so deep and pulls from so many religions/mythologies and I LOVE IT. Thank you for sharing all this info with us, it's a wonderful distraction from real life 😁

We use Primogems to summon characters from a hole in the sky, what if the wishing system is essentially The Primordial Human Project, each character is a human (mostly) by using the Primogems we are essentially creating or re crating human life in way... unless they're recreations of past travels and there for are merely imitations.
Pretty sure there is a theory that basically says the characters we wish for are just their memories, and the traveler uses this memories to basically shapeshift into those characters, and the more memories we have of that character, the more accurate to the actual character the traveler gets
That's a very convoluted way to say that
Basically the more constellations are unlocked the more accurate the travelers shapeshift of that character is, with C6 basically being the characters at their max potential

Fun fact: Der Ring des Nibelungen is the longest opera written, often performed over separate nights. While full of awesome Viking mythology, it is also the origin of the horned helmets on Vikings. Also, also it is easy to see the not-so-subtle inspiration Tolkien took from the opera in the writing of Lord of The Rings :)

Suprised how little it was discussed even now, given how prominent the thing is.
Not a theory, but... this line is still confusing to me since it basically says that Aether is the canon protagonist of the game.
Not to mention that Dainsleif used the word "she", which most of the fandom drew the assumption he was pertaining to Lumine. And it's confusing because if the situation is that both Travellers are canon then that line should have been something else that applies to both characters. However, in the situation that Aether was the ex-companion of Dainsleif, this line would not make sense.
I would like to see how the story would pan out, and if that particular line is actually alluding to Lumine. However, I think the theory that it is somebody else is not entirely out of the question.

Incredible how Kaeya is basically a walking spoiler since day 1 of the game. He is disguisig himself as a 4-star while being one of the most important people in Teyvat lol

Another phenomenal performance Ashikai - You line up to the same conclusion on my end with the heart of naberius and what they might mean at the end. With how detailed their lore writters are i am sure Rhine is more than likely one of the moon sisters and even Varka has to have something to do with everything.

something i noticed about the gemstone core of the gnosis is that it matches the object that the statue of the seven is holding like the orb of venti's statue or the cube for zhongli's statue so the core of the electro gnosis will probably be the circle that baals statue is holding
Another way that we can interpret the Chess set in a way to include the pawns is that so far, every archon has or at one point had a direct shadow or helper. Venti has Dvalin, Beelabul had Ei, and there is debate on who Morax had/has be that Goubas past life or Azedaha. The Abyss tried to capture Dvalin, and both the candidates for Morax could be said to be out of play as well. In the case of the Raiden Shogun, hers is an example of losing the main piece, and her pawn getting promoted. We can take this further to suggest that once maybe Kanriah had an archon (the missing piece), and that its fall came as a result of losing its pieces. This would give a new look at how the heavens and abyss are playing games with the world and its denizens.
But to return to your idea of a controlling ring, a fully upgraded archon statue gains a ring like construct that looks like a crown. This could be because you restored the statues to their full power....or it could be that the oculi (viewing apparatuses) have been scattered, and thus wearing the hold of Celestia on the archon's kingdoms, and by restoring them, you are strengthening the power of Celestia. Both Morax and Venti are absentee gods at this point, so that would mean little. But for the theory that the Shogun was trying to protect her people by taking away their visions...you are the one that changed her mind as well as restored her statues on your adventures, which in turn brings her ideals more in line with that of Celestia, which is for the heavens to keep tabs on mortals via visions.

Just remembered that Naberius has a connection with Cerberus, the Guard Dog of Hades. Within Hades was also Tartarus, sometimes referred to as a deep abyss that kept the enemies of the Gods imprisoned within.
Here's to hoping it's Primordial One's consciousness/body/power that Celestia sealed away. I have a head canon that Rhine is trying to revive the PO by creating vessels powerful and pure enough to contain it. I mean she can't actually be a purely evil character, I just refuse to believe it. I think in her mind, she's working for a great purpose that can potentially save Teyvat.

As a loyal fan of your theories, i have to say that i really respect you for pronouncing (as far as i know) all the non-english terms so well. Like, i'm not from germany but i grew up w/ that language and i am truly impressed by your pronounciation. Just wanted to say that real quick ^^
I had heard from some other video that the sword dropped into the sea might be the one that one of the twins loses during the opening cut scene and I think that's a pretty interesting possibility. Also there's a possibility that Gold knew who's gnosis it was because it was given to her by the archon. I know it goes against the connection to the myth about the theft but I can see 'theft of the heart' being a euphemism for the archon falling in love with her or something like that, and with Yae and Zhongli we already know that archons aren't incapable of just giving their gnosis away for whatever reason they choose.
It’s interesting how well these theories have held up against and is supported by the new Enkanomiya lore. This video is rekindling my excitement about lore speculation!
