Started watching your videos a couple months ago while I was off work due to Skin Cancer surgery. I can say you inspired me to get back into the model building hobby. Would love to see your model collection. Also I just picked this kit up at my local Hobby store (Chucks Depot) Thank you again for these great model building/reviews. 👍👍
Nice! I always like to see what comes in the box. This one is well stocked with extras! It looks like they combined the wheels/ tires from the Stacy David rat roaster along with the wheels/ tires from the original 32 3 window as options! Well done Revell! 👍 I do hope they will come out with the other 32's in this series as well! That's a small block 302 Chris!
this kit turned out gorgeous, i had it in its original release, and used it to kit bash something i was building, and figured that i would get another, i missed that boat, now,, here it is again, and thank you for showing us, if you prim and paint the side glass, you can easily make a sedan delivery out of this car,, although the sedan delivery had no back seat, i plan to biuld a regular sedan as you have here, and a sedan delivery as i mentioned earlier, the box print on yours says early 90s 5.0, but more realistically it is more fitting as late 80s ford crown vic 5.0 with a,o,d, transmission, like your build on this, both of mine will be full fendered, and yours looks fine with out, i have the three window coupe, and the five window coupe, as well as the lately released 29 roadster, thanks for showing us this build chris!
The top inserts on Fords were made of stretched cotton painted with an early, waterproof and cheap plastic paint called proxyln. The steaks or patterns were caused from the hard bristle brushes used to paint on the goo. Ford did this to save money on steel. Top inserts were built on a wood frame. I really dig the options you used on this. And the color is really nice. A fenderless high boy! Thanks for sharing, Chris.
The top of almost all auto bodies at this time were not steel. It was not Ford saving money on steel, the tooling industry was not advanced enough to press all-steel bodies. Even Cadillacs had a vinyl insert in the roof of sedans.
Thsnks for the review and build up! The choice of wheels and decals is great! By the way, the Color Shot paints work nice for a quick build. Their Satin black and Flat black works great for chassis parts. What I like about that line of paint is that the nozzle doesn't plug up.
None of the Ford engines have siamesed ports. Not big, small, or mod motor. The double hump oil pan on this 5.0 pegs it as a Fox body application. The last year with a carburetor was 1986, then went to EFI. The Metric trans pan makes it an 4-speed Automatic Overdrive and is also found on the later 4R70W electronic versions of same. Nice build!
I'm impressed with this kit and all the optional parts that come in it. I'm sure that second engine and the optional wheels can be put to good use in another model or if later on (as I sometimes do) you end up taking apart a kit and rebuilding it differently.
Very nice kit this is. Would be looking very good a candy Red or that candy lime Green. I hope the come here in europe also on the market, then i may buy a few of them.
Cool kit Chris an nicely done always enjoy watching your video's an 99% of the time time I always pick up a new technique an Thanks for the time an effort you invest into the video's you make for us 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻looks
I know it's a lost art but those vents on the side hood are called louvers and my dad had a cheap set of dolly and hammer sets to make various-sized louvers and it was a very strong part of early hot rodding just as ripping off the fenders of the old family sedan was so you could drive around in a cooler vehicle w/o embarrassment!! Not many options like that with today's family sedans lol
I haven't seen this box! The '32 TuDor I built had a blue fendered car on the box IIRC. The car I built looks almost exactly like the image on that box. Thats so funny.
MCW Paints has a vinyl top paint that dries with a vinyl-like surface, for anyone who wants to paint the top of this car a contrast color that looks like vinyl.
I had a problem with the steering linkage. You thread it thru the torsion bars before assembly, then what? Part of it is supposed to attach to what looks like the steering column but doesn’t reach. Where the rest of it attaches is a mystery. Some place on the disk breaks.
Seems a lot of hobby lobby’s take quite awhile to cycle in new kits. Years ago I read about certain stores getting in the Louisville plow and Autocar dump truck kits. The store I frequent just added those kits this year.
I wish Revell would make all their kits with the choice of building factory stock vehicles. They just saved me some money, though. Doesn't matter to me how many other versions are in the box, my build collection will never have anything but cars as they came from the factory. In fact, Revell using "2'n1" on the box is a bit misleading, since most buyers would think that means "one stock, one custom".
Great job Chris.😊

As he ever responded to you?
Love your color choice works well with the decal colors. And the pinstripe is the Von Dutch bunny. Great job 👍

The kit looks great! Those Revell Ford rods build up so nice. Love the colors. Thanks for the review. 😎
I really like the markers, it dose make the doors pop out more.
I have the original release of this, been meaning to get to it - now I have some inspiration!

Great build Chris!
I'm glad they finally started producing a nice flathead motor for those 32s
I sense great joy in you when you are doing autos, hot rods & truck kits. You certainly have the gift to turn it on with paint jobs.
Nice job, loved the grey seats
Another beautiful model kit love the blue detailing is awesome 👌
That's a GREAT kit!!!!!! 👍
Nicely done Chris.
Great video Chris, keep em coming I'll keep watching.
Sweet kit!! I had the original issue, and regret selling it off. I will be grabbing a couple of these soon.
Great build as always!!! Love this kit!!! With all the options I will build several versions.
This kit is really stepping up the game!!
You never cease to blow my mind .
One of my favorite kits from Revell. You did a great job on your version.
Very nice looking build. You are right, there is a ton of options on this one. Great work on a well engineered kit. Thanks for sharing.
Great work ! I love your detail work that you do on all of your models!
Thsnks for the review and build up! The choice of wheels and decals is great!

Fantastic as always. I appreciate your inspiration and skilled craftsmanship.
Cheers
Very nice Chris , the engines that have the two middle headers next two each other is chevy and dodge small blocks .
Loved watching this build. I have it just haven't started it yet. I get a lot of ideas from watching you. Thanks.
Looks great - thanks for the build.
Got a killer idea to do a 1950s era Jalopy with this.

i love the chrome drip rail.Right on!!
Nice Great Job Just Have Fun Modeling
Very nice kit this is. Would be looking very good a candy Red or that candy lime Green. I hope the come here in europe also on the market, then i may buy a few of them.
Nice build 😁
Love it
Great looking kit👍
I ordered mine just before you posted the video. It seems to be a lot like the Revelle 29 A kit. SO many ways to build it, ya can't just get one!
Nice build n review
Un beau résultat ...Congrest ...
I think I need 4 of this kit.😂
Great build! So many options!
Just an FYI, small block Fords don't have siamesed center exhaust ports. Small block Chevy and Mopar do 😉
Excellent review Chris!
Glad you liked it!
Cool kit Chris an nicely done always enjoy watching your video's an 99% of the time time I always pick up a new technique an Thanks for the time an effort you invest into the video's you make for us 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻looks
that thing on the firewall is called a beehive ignition

Who doesn't love Chris Haugen...?

It's Wirth getting just for the extra parts
Very cool! But...we need some classic NASCAR!
Hey Chris what is the brand of black panel liner you were using ? Hot rod looks great !
18:23 I've never seen a kit with individual pedals to put in. They've always been molded into the interior tub
Revell has a few models like that AMT rarely does the separate pedals!!
Besides the flathead motor, the other one is a small block 5.0L/302 ci. Ford Mustang engine....😉

I'm thinking about a Bonneville salt flats car
I 2nd that!
Are you using crazy glue to ahere parts that have already been painted
Do you keep all the models, if so how many acres is the manor sitting on 🤣 ?
Our Hobby Lobby don't get the new kits just the same Ole models all the tine
Same in Farmington Nm too buddy!! Drives me crazy
Seems a lot of hobby lobby’s take quite awhile to cycle in new kits. Years ago I read about certain stores getting in the Louisville plow and Autocar dump truck kits. The store I frequent just added those kits this year.
I love your videos, I just picked up this kit from my local Hobby Shop (Chucks Depot) to add to my collection.
Interior doesn't fit too wide I had 2 can't get it wright

the modern engine is a ford 302
I think you and I both have a wrong idea of what mat means. Look it up.
Anybody here remember the Orange Crate?
I built that as a kid. I was looking for one recently, it’s discontinued. Had a lot of chrome though, can’t imagine I did well with that.
