1957, and eleven year old me lived next to a Boeing engineer, who had just got a '57 Ford Town & Country wagon from Boeing for getting the new 707 jet passeger plane finished (all the engineers got a new Ford). I loved that car. The '57 Chev had been my fave until that Ford wagon. Chris, your buld is impressive and the option choices are spot on - for me. I can still remember riding in the back facing third seat, waving at the cars behind us. Thank you so much for this beauty build. I'm building one ASAP ! ! !
pretty excited myself to get this build underway and now i got a video i can reference if i get stuck. wish me luck its the first one since ive been an adult and well we all know how they went as kids hahaha
needless to say its not going perfect but its giving me this sense of achievement ive never felt before and i love it. i will ask though what glue are you using. mine isnt that easy to apply as its in a tube with a tip and not a brush
hi hpiguys i nice meet you i.m Lomas Peete i brought my 1957 Ford Ranch 2- dr Restomod yellow i use late model 2014 Ford MUSTANG GT 5.0 COYOTE MOTOR AND TRANS BUCKET SEATS CONSOLE
Chris I love your builds. I have been watching you for five years now. I watch you while I am building myself. I have a suggestion for you. If you decide to ever replace your spray booth. Try lining it with wax paper. That way you can control all the over spray and keep it cleaner. I'm going to build a large booth to do my semi's in. Thar is what I'm going to do for mine. Like I said it's just a suggestion. Love your builds and will always be a fan.
You have done another totally amazing build Chris enjoy watching your videos an thanks again for the time an effort you put into your videos you make for us 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Beautiful build! That paint combo looks like a perfect match for the box art! Those tires and rims give the perfect stance as well! Keep up the awesome work!
We had a '57 Plymouth wagon when I was a kid; so proud we didn't have to lift up the heavy rear glass like those '57 GM 2 piece rears still had. We pushed a button. Plus...'57 Mopars plain looked cool. Outstanding build here. People don't know these were real 2 tones of the day, I remember black and pink Buicks, turquoise and dark green Olds, and absolutely red and black Fords. 👀
Sweet build ! But for tinted windows, I use actual window tint, it's super simple and looks real because it is, and your able to see through the windows.
Another immensely enjoyable build! Just LOOKING at polystyrene parts has me salivating for my own kit! Stock, showroom new, original parts and paint colour scheme, for me! Would you know all the choices of paint colors at that time?
An ideal companion piece for the various Nomad wagon model kits available, looks great, but the location of the sprue attachment points on the wipers and the door handles have me a bit nervous, because the wipers on my Revell Mustang LX coupe broke and were unsalvageable owing to that. Thankfully I had another kit I had scrapped whose wipers fit the bill.
Is it easier to glue the motor and other body parts together first them prime I always did the l primer first them put stuff together. What is your best opinion?
I bought the original Monogram version of this model about 2016 (kit# 85-4193). I have been slowly assembling it ever since. I'm building it as the straight stock version, but I would like to do the supercharged version of the engine, which was an official Ford option in 1957. Unfortunately, they did not include instructions for assembling the supercharger. This model is a variation of the Ford Custom 300 2-door sedan model that came out a year or two earlier and did include the instructions for the supercharger.
Hi I enjoyed your video. Great work. What did you use to spray the wheels, bumpers so they reproduced chrome? Did you spray or use the liquid chrome marker? Thanks
I'd drive it I love them old cars or trucks themselves the ones ya can survive a wreak in caused they was made with metal an steel not like the cars now days nothing but plastic

Very nice. There are going to be a lot of different ways this can be built. Keep up the great work.
Aw man, I've been waiting on this one for a while! Now, let us hope they reissue that sweet '49 Mercury Woody Wagon also, the sooner the betterr!!!
Built the standars version of this kit years ago, it is excellent.
Great video Chris, keep em coming I'll keep watching

Looks great. Just received mine 2 days ago. Already have the earlier issues so definitely will have to do a custom.

As a person born in San Francisco, i say it's painted up in the Giants scheme!
Looks awesome as usual Chris. And that color combo is off the chain. I need to pick one up for myself.
Great kit, review and build.
Very Nice love the colors 🐎Mr. ED Says just have fun modeling
I so enjoy your videos, they play while I'm doing whatever I'm doing. So much better than other nonsense! Thank you for making your models you!
What a nice kit. Revell has really upped their quality the past decade or so. This is a great, easy to build kit. Good Job!
I had the older kit I may buy this one since it has more parts
I’ll probably buy 3 or 4 of this kit. Looks like a great kit.
Very nice build. Excellent color choices. It looks great. Obviously, this is another well engineered build from Revell. Thanks for sharing.
Sweet looking kit, great build👍
Un beau montage et une belle peinture ...Congrest ...

Whst is the green tape you use?
Comes In Three Varieties! -Hearse, Ambulance, -AND ECTO 1!
This is another excellent video; thank you! Question - what kind of Washi tape do you get, and where do you get it? Okay, that's two questions :)
I buy it right off the shelf in the paper crafts section of Hobby Lobby.
Which Plastruct glue do you use ? 2 or 16 ?
I use Plastruct Bondene
