Honestly, you smashed your LPC! I completed the LPC in 2018 at BPP and it was tough stuff. A lot of students don’t do particularly well on the course because it is so intense and content heavy, plus there is a lack of support generally at these institutions unlike most “normal” universities. Excited to see you progress xx
Awww that's so kind of you, thank you so much! Yupp definitely agree with you in respect of how intense it all is and there is a massive expectation to be more independent; especially as we have to prep for seminars in our own time xxx
It’s so nice to hear you enjoyed your LPC more than your LLB. Most times everyone says how they hated their LPC compared to their LLB due to it being so intense and different to the LLB, which truth to be told it has made me more nervous than anything so it’s been a breath of fresh air to hear you say that. & congrats!! X
Ah that's so good to hear - of course, everyone is different and has varying perspectives. A lot of people I met at law firms also said they loved doing the LPC, and the books you use are still used in practice too - so it's really applicable to your legal career. Thank you so much xx
Love it! I just graduated from Law and I love that you’re using this platform to help others 👏🏼 This video was so funny, love how natural you are on camera ❤️
Absolutely loved this video, so encouraging to see someone who has made a success of the LPC all by hard work. I wish you all the best in your training contract!
If you relied on LPC Buddy notes for Employment Law, that could explain your mark; they are extremely deficient for that module. I've had to make dozens of corrections and additions to get them fit for purpose.
I felt this about a lot of the notes I acquired. I got my hands on a few Procedure Plans for business law, and I swear all of them were terrible and full of mistakes.
I'll either do this as a video or Instagram post - definitely follow my socials to keep updated. If I don't get around to it, please feel free to message me on LinkedIn/Instagram and I'll provide you with this :) Thanks for the suggestion!

Thanks so much for the video! I am going to sit the interview assessment which is currently online! When you did the face to face interview were you handed the solicitor instructions 30 mins before the assessment or was it emailed to you and adviced not to look at until 30 mins before?
No worries at all! Wow the interviewing exam seems so long ago for me, I believe I was given the instructions on the day?? But I may be completely wrong, I don't remember I'm afraid, sorry! Hope your exam went well!
well done on your results & thank you for your helpful videos :) im currently doing the GDL and I intend to do the LPC but i'm worrying about applications and acceptance, would you say it is a difficult course to get into?
Thank you so much! From what I've heard as long as you have the funding to pay the fees it should be okay?? I'm not entirely sure though I'm afraid, as i did the LPC after I gained my TC offer. It may be worth contacting the Uni's themselves and asking about this.
Would you recommend the employment elective after finding out your results. Are there any other electives you would/wouldn’t recommend. Thanks for the video very helpful and congratulations!
I still would recommend it to be fair; I enjoyed the topic, it was structured. the main thing with elective choices is it should be a persona choice on what you think you would enjoy - something I'd enjoy or recommend may not correlate with someone's strengths or interests. Thanks for watching!
Sorry for the late reply to this! open book exams are all about your notes being organised, if your notes are presented in such a way where relevant sections can be found fast and also these notes are written to reflect the same structure you can use for certain questions, then that would be very beneficial to you! organisation is key!
I would say making sure you're clued up on the terminology first is very important - e.g. what's the difference between a share and asset sale, terms like 'squeeze out provisions,' 'earn out clauses' or 'mezzanine debt.' Secondly, in the question make sure you know who you're acting for - the buyer and the seller both have different aims so knowing their objectives from the outset, before answering the question is vital. Thirdly, annotating SPA's (Share Purchase Agreement) and other contracts in every workshop helped me to understand what each clause should include. You can even use different colours to represent what the buyer would want in the SPA and what the seller would want for example. Hope this helped!
please have a look at the tips in the video above, as some of these really helped me with doing well - especially the one about organising and consolidating your notes from day 1. If you have any further questions, please message me on LinkedIn or Instagram. Thank you so much!

Could you do a video comparing lpc vs the llb and more detail on what lpc incorporates? I start it in like 2 weeks at BPP

Can you please give tips as to how to answer open book exam questions?

Do u have any tips for the mergers and acquisitions exam?
