The lead at the beginning is dope af. So heavy and metalic sounds with a perfect groove.

Drops are difficult in eurorack. I really like pairing the Malekko Voltage Block with the Verigate + because they share the same clocking and save states over power bus msgs, and you can save and recall 10 instances of Voltage Block alongside Verigate and chain those instances into a repeatable sequence in "Song" mode. With this combo you would have 10 banks with 10 recallable, or sequencable save states, for a total of 100 total save states across all of the banks. The save slots also work with the Malleko Quad LFO and Quad Envolope modules, which allows you to design full on patch save states that stay in sync as each one has a 16 step sequencer for each of the parameters.
One trick to get some sidechaining is to mult a copy of the kick trigger to one of the gate inputs of the Quad Envolope, and send the output into an attenuverter. From there you can tune it to do some sidechain ducking over a voice with a VCA. I use the NE Quantus Ampla for this because it is compact and has a switch for each channel to attenuate or attenuvert the incoming CV signal over the VCA.

Thank you for making this video and sharing your process. Also, cosmitronic makes a great stereo compressor called Messor. Many of the parameters are also CV controllable, and it also has a sidechain input with a HP/LP filter for that input. It also has an envolope follower output, so you can use that as a way to sidechain other VCAs. I use the envolope follower a lot with the Boardbrain EQx5 module for multi-band dynamics processing in Eurorack
