I think your point at about the 15 minute mark is all it takes to basically prove this right. They all clearly retain their own animation style. The Pete from the Insomniac Universe is the one we see with the actual game aesthetic. The others are just other variants of Spider-Man.
The better question is who even gets confused about this in the first place.
yeah sorry i know i get to the final point like 4 minutes before the video ends but i agree, i think most people just see the insomniac suit (regardless of which one) and go "oh yeah thats the same guy"
I like this idea but I can also see how him chasing miles would make sense too. I say that because I believe Peter already understands how to make that kind of sacrifice (the sacrifice of miles letting his father die) because he already had to make that sacrifice with aunt May to save New York. Having to sacrifice shit is what Spideys all about tbh. I feel like Miguel has probably had “the talk” about what happened to him with many other spider people (bro already had a slide show presentation for it). Everyone is scared of losing something, they are all spooked by the idea of losing their universes. It would make sense for it to be a dangerous mindset set they all fell into.
With that being said… it would ALSO make sense that he didn’t because Spider-People are also knows for fighting to do right by themselves. Multiple times we see Spider-men push themselves to the brink to get a job done. Sure most Spiders storylines are super depressing but it doesn’t change the fact that many of them still have hope, hope to change their destiny (wink wink some of them didn’t want to chase miles) (and plus everything you said ofc).
In conclusion. My head is splitting into two cause I can’t pick which I believe more.

I know Insomniac Peter was just meant to be a cool Easter Egg and is not going to be important at all come the next movie, but I genuinely find the idea of this guy being at the Society more mind boggling and more fascinating than any other cameo in that movie. There's just, SO MUCH they could do with that particular Peter and how he would interact with Miles and Miguel and who he'd side with at the end (Miles, obviously) and like, I know why they're not even gonna try, that would be a nightmare to try and work with the game's canon without just breaking it (ironic huh) but it's such a cool and obvious idea that I can't help but hope they'll at least allude to it in a DLC or something more self contained of the sort. You can't just put THIS Spider-Man in THIS story and expect people to not ask questions.

13:02, more proof to this is how Peter reacted to Yuri/Wraith, she’s “done” with her cops dying and wants the most optimal way of stopping deaths by killing villains, Peter disagreed with this, the entire “Kill someone, and all deaths stop” fiasco Yuri has is VERY similar to Miguel’s “Let someone die, and the universe stays intact”, if Peter’s against Yuri, logically he’d be against Miguel too, as Peter keeps telling Yuri, there’s always another way.

I wholeheartedly believe that insomniac peter was not in the movie at all, but i do also feel like all the other spider-people went after miles not because he wanted to save his father, but because based on miguel's explanation he would die anyways because it would break the canon. Miles would be destroying his own universe (perhaps even others if that's how the web works) to try and save a single person that at the end, would die regardless. It's not a matter of how their specific character is written, i think all of them would want to stop it after everything Miguel has said/ taught them (i think its all bs but we'll find out in beyond the spiderverse)
Gonna be honest, there were MANY cameos & spider-men we know from popular spidey media, yet theyre out of character or just… there. Happened to I think most. Despite the fact they’d never be on miguel’s side, they for some reason are in atsv.
I agree with you on this. It doesn’t make since for this version of Peter to chase miles when he’s trying to save his father, he’d do the same for his aunt.

To add on to your point 1610 Peter Parker had his own variation of the Insomniac Spider-Man suit. Those all could be different Peter's from completely different timelines that are completely different to those of the games and the comics. Also the point at the end where you mentioned different animation styles is also valid as every Spider has their own art style that is completely unique to their own worlds. Good vid!

Insomniac Spiderman refused to cure Aunt May to have a mass produced antiserum at the end of Spiderman1. I think it make sense for this peter to chase miles? Every spidermen who chases Miles wants him to understand that breaking the canon event can cause his universe to collapse.
another person brought this point up as well, but I agree with them in the aspect that it's also what may would've wanted (to not cure her in favor of the cure being synthesized) but I also feel that bc of his personal connections to both miles and the morales' in his universe he would at least be hesitant to chase him (if at all)

I don't believe that peter was the Insomniac peter we know, since there's clearly 2 of them, but more so, Insomniac' peter did yes let aunt may pass, but he also understood, that's what she wanted, and she was simply already too far gone since she died moments later, as far as miles' dad, Peter actively blames himself for the death of Jefferson Davis, going as far as to feeling like he owes it to Jeff to look after Miles, hell even in the character bio of the first game post Jeff's death, Peter says he wishes Rio knew he was Spider-Man and hated him for it because it would've felt easier, but even upon finding out peter was Spider-Man, Rio showed no hate towards him, makes no sense for him to turn around and let a different version of Miles' father die

Honestly, I feel like there’s a lot of different spiders that wouldn’t chase Miles in the spider society. I know a lot of people talked about this already, but it doesn’t feel like Spectacular would be nearly as gung-ho about it as we end up seeing in the film. I’m not saying I dislike the movie by any means, but it does seem that from what we know, a lot of the spiders we know in the background are acting really out of character.
I have yet to watch TSSM but based on what I do know+have seen of his characterization I'm inclined to believe u. I do think a lot of spiders noped out of chasing miles, ngl

Peter struggles with whether or not to drink a serum that will remove his spider powers and live a normal life. He chooses not to in order to uphold his "great responsibility" and put the greater good over his personal happiness.
Which means Spectacular is perfectly aligned with Miguel's viewpoint.
Another point to back this up is that 1610 peter had an advanced 1.0 suit in his secret base thing in itsv. It could just be a common suit design for Spiderman variants

I think it's odd Peter's 2nd face makes him look a lot younger (making Peter and MJ look like they have less of an age gap in SPM Remastered), but for whatever reason they decided to change up MJ in SPM2, making her look like 10 years older.
I think her new face would have been a PERFECT fit with the original 2018 Peter.
If he had his OG face in SPM2 Peter, Harry and MJ would all look the same age range... now Peter looks like he is hanging out with poeple that are like 5-10 years older.

My argument is basically the same as yours which is that these suits are not the same and also I know this might be just different interpretations of Insomniac peter by different creators but the spider-verse style Insomniac Pete has his white spider much smaller and since our Peter did not know Miguel during Spider-Man 2 then those other impostors are definietly not him...
I ain't gonna try to write an essay cuz it's 1 am and I am sick right now but yeah those are my general feelings about the character :D

I do agree with most of your points, and you clearly did your research so gold star! But one thing on why i think peter might agree with Miguel. Not that he would want miles to lose his dad but remember what Miguel says, "you have the option to save one person or save millions ". Peter had to go through this twice now. With aunt may when he had to let her die while he held the cure so others can have ut, and with harry when he had to kill him to stop the invasion. It would make sense for peter to understand this philosophy and agree with it. But again i dont think peter chased miles, just a thought on if he did why i think he did
The biggest determiner for me would be the style. The one time they explicitly specify that it is an Insomniac Spider-Man, he's in the video game's 3D aesthetic, and Spider-verse hammers down on there being multiple dimensions/looks that can count (2D, 3D, live action, etc). I agree that this Peter would not join the chase, but what if Miguel or other higher-ups (if there are any) forced Insomniac Peter (and possibly others) out of the Spider Society universe leading up to the chase as to not lead to a mutiny or conflict.
I dunno, just my take. Your points are great though, especially for audiences who are not too familiar with the games (I've played all three, but it's still important).

My theory is that insomniac pete joins the spider society after the events of msm2. So after the game, but that also doesn't make sense because of the anti-venom suit

Here's my theory: Peter did not want to chase ITSV Miles but he was left with no choice since he was scared of multiple earths being destroyed if he didn't want do anything. Insomniac Peter dose not want ITSV Miles to lose his father but he's too conflicted about what to do

5:23 that suit is most likely Peters Standard Red and Yellow iron spider suit. The scene's coloration is making the shiny yellow look blue and tealish in hue

@@squishcat0this is my account anyway here's my theory what if black cat really did have a kid so you remember in the DLC when she told Peter she had a son but hesitated to tell him if it's his well here's my theory she really did have a kid with Peter and the reason she became black cat again wes to get enough money to get off the radar and go someplace else like Paris in Spider-Man 2 she seemed like she was in a hurry and I'm sure you know that she said she got her girlfriend in trouble with some bad people but she said it in a way like she didn't mean it like she made it up on the spot so here it goes she really did have a kid with Peter it was a girl and she decided to name her mayday after she heard may died if you don't know who mayday Parker is she is the daughter of Peter Parker and MJ in the comics but insomniac seems to like to change a bunch of stuff in their games like hairy being venom or even in the trailer to the first game they only teased that Mr negative was going to be the main villain come to find out Doctor octopus was the main villain and was the leader of the sinister six even in the trailer for the second game I know a lot of people thought Peter was going to be venom so I think it's possible that black cat might be the mother of mayday Parker in this universe and the reason she lied to Peter wes to get those chips from the hammerhead gang family to wire money to her account so she can go somewhere with her daughter far away like Paris and the reason why she said she had a son wes to throw Peter off to make him feel like he can't trust her for nothing so that he for sure wouldn't find out she was lying about really having a kid and I know a lot of people were disappointed that the last mission was with Miles and not Peter because every time Peter has the black suit on and involves black cat there's going to be some funny business going around😅 and I feel like the only reason why they did that with miles in a way to kind of tease the future without us even knowing it because that mission with a black cat was too short and it should have been with Peter because Peters and black cats relationship history around it and for them just to put it with miles that wouldn't make sense they did this on purpose maybe I'm thinking too much but what do you think I want your honest opinion and thank you for listening .

I kinda wish that they used some of the Insomniac original suits from MSM1 instead of just the Advanced 1.0 suit a bunch of times.
with my limited knowledge of 3D animation, it honestly makes a lot of sense to just retexture the same suit for times sake
