Hm I doubt it. So- for starters I think sure MAYBE it was intended to be a playable area originally, but I don't think they kept it in as a DLC possibility for starters it's just not that big enough of an area to warrant such a thing, ultimately it's just more insignificant buildings to swing around there's no particular added charm like- it doesn't visually stand out from anything we've already got. And it wouldn't be a great precedent to set either so- I'd like the dream of it being DLC later just die now. Second (novice game dev here) likely what happened if it originally HAD been a planned area it was just left in for practicality there's no real reason to delete it so they just left it, it clearly looks unfinished with floating cars ect. And third which I think COULD be what's going on is it was built out and never intended to be playable they just wanted the added detail, and cars and people are procedurally generated so- no duh they'd still spawn there, this could explain why some are floating if the area wasn't created with this in mind yeah some wonky bugs would appear, also because of how assets work it's not shocking the different sound effects functions still work, you don't have to program each burrow/area that's not how this works guys. Basically if I had to guess people and cars spawn in people have a few randomly chosen personality patterns, the lights are coded to alternate or randomly change and the "actors" (cars, ect) adjust their behavior based on those results so again- that's why it would still function, but- totally possible it was intended to be an original part of the map, I'm just saying there's tools that could explain why it's so detailed even if that wasn't the case, interiors again are randomly generated. If I had to GUESS a lot of the buildings in-game are individual sort "stock" models that were sort of just placed and then tweaked manually. So in this case again- totally could have just been built for the added detail because of how close it is to the mainland and some of those NPC stuff is just- the result of what the game does normally, or like you said it had planned on being playable, but was scrapped. I think either way I doubt it'll become accessible through DLC.
Tbh the only real thing that I would say actually leads any credence to how it might've been cut, is how its even like grayed out on the map at all, I don't think they bothered even slightly doing that in SM1 or MM with the areas closest off the bridges at all, and they coulda just as easily have the filled in map just not detail any of that out but weirdly they did
I think this area next to brooklyn would be released in a DLC or update for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 but I don't see any reason not to expand to that expo area and beyond in Marvel's Spider-Man 3
Horizon Zero Dawn map should be 50 times bigger, so that's why there are a lot of free space in out of bounds area. In Spider-Man 2 the same story. Let's just enjoy the main map.

had feeling at the game the Devision, before the first DLC v came out you could glitch out the map and there was stuff like this npcs etc months later the first dlc made this area accassable
2:57 Arthur Ashe!
Love your accent, where are you from mate?
Scotland, UK!
Whats funny is i found all of this but my dumbass thought everyone already knew about it
Theres other places I can reach with the slingshot aand webwings and it says I'm leaving the playable area. The statue of liberty is one of them
That stark expo looked like star labs
Maybe we could go to the Tennis court during a mission in Queens in the DLC.
I think this location can take a place in new dlc's like witcher blood and vine.
I agree with TheShaneGuy...seems like it's for future DLC.
That big house where the trees are possibly could be where the X mansion will be the wolverine game is in the same universe as spidey but we haven’t seen the mansion yet
I managed to glitch inside of it but I lost the footage and it looked like the arena that the Miles Vs Peter Vs Kraven took place
you can get there normally lmao@@Cinogard
@@GT_Mr.C idk like I said I lost the footage of it and it was like 5 months ago but I remember it being the same shape
I’ve been outta bounce a lot in this game especially when I was high and bored and I found some cool areas
I'm trying to get out of the map, but it will not let me even with getting in front of the trains
@@actsofduane2406 do the glider glitch it still works
@@Dontcareidc I did not realize there was that kind of glitch.
@@actsofduane2406 it’s basically where you keep doing a front flip while spamming ur glider until ur launch boost fills up and you keep repeating the cycle and it gets you higher in higher there are tutorials on UA-cam about it👍🏼
Maybe dlc or this is where silk/Cindy Moon lives because in the credits that’s Rio’s boyfriends daughter AKA her soon to be stepdaughter
I’m actually playing the game looking for a video to listen too and i’m there right now as I write, love glitches in games.
That wooded area to the north with that big house is obviously the x-mansion
*Sees a forest* - must be tropical
Lmfao, i didn't mean tropical tbf 😂😂😂
I still don't know why I said tropical
I tried this glitch and got over 30000 meters away from the furthest part of the map
The “stark expo” is just a tennis stadium
Could all be dlc areas?
Tbh the only real thing that I would say actually leads any credence to how it might've been cut, is how its even like grayed out on the map at all, I don't think they bothered even slightly doing that in SM1 or MM with the areas closest off the bridges at all, and they coulda just as easily have the filled in map just not detail any of that out but weirdly they did
March 7th could maybe introduce this part of the map.
Later release or ran out of time because Sony wanted it out before it was finished...?
It’s probably them saving stuff for dlc
maybe these places will be accessible in Spider Man 3
I think this area next to brooklyn would be released in a DLC or update for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 but I don't see any reason not to expand to that expo area and beyond in Marvel's Spider-Man 3
Horizon Zero Dawn map should be 50 times bigger, so that's why there are a lot of free space in out of bounds area.
In Spider-Man 2 the same story. Let's just enjoy the main map.
Maybe they want to leave some stuff out so we get new content on marvel’s venom or spiderman 3
Probably where a DLC would've taken place i guess.
did they patch it by chance? or am i just bad lol
They've sadly patched it 😔
@@Cinogard I figured as much, I tried at least 20 times🤣
DLC: Carnage
DLC: Black Cat
DLC: Chameleon
How cool would it be if we not only got a bigger map through DLC but got to play Venom some more in open world? Hmmm? Hmmm? JS!
o really do hope they add this to the game
great video but the gameplay shown in the video looks extremely laggy and honestly bothers my eyes, but other than that great find
Yeah the video was filmed 5 months ago when the game first came out and I ran into so many problems with the file so I tried my best to make it look better but clearly it still shows
