Polo deep blue will be steadily on my rotation in this spring for work
I actually like the Deep Blue. I pick up the ‘crystal fizz’ as an effervescence and it’s rather addictive. I keep smelling my arm throughout the day. I wish the performance was better.
How is the performance? I was looking to perhaps buy it, but if it’s performance is underwhelming I’ll have to rethink it.

Great review! I went to Dillard's looking to smell the new ADG Profondo and ended up buying the Deep Blue instead. They essentially stole the mango note from Polo Black (which I enjoy) and added it to the Polo Blue EDP along with some ambroxan. The ambroxan is a little harsh to me in this one and takes some time to "calm down".
My favorite Polo Blue is the EDP. I think that one is slept on. It's one of smoothest, well blended fragrances I've had the pleasure to smell and does smell very different from the original to me. It's not harsh at all to my nose, I don't get any ambroxan, and it's much more masculine.
I got the new Chrome Extreme as well. Can't wait for the review on that one! I really really like this one. It's definitely a warmer, darker, "blue" fragrance with the cashmeran and amber base. But the mandarin and juniper hold well throughout and add a freshness. Smells NOTHING like the original Chrome. It's a very simple fragrance but I love it. I can see people not wanting to pay retail for this simply because it's Azzaro, but once this hits discounters I think it will sell. I couldn't wait that long to get it tho. Thanks for what you do 👍
Does the new Polo Blue Parfum smell metallic? I'm hoping not. That's what I get from Gold Blend which my nose just can't take. I'm hoping Deep Blue is more wearable .
@@edgesdragon888 eh it doesn't smell metallic to my nose. But I do get some harshness from the heavy dose of ambroxan. It is a very potent fragrance to me . Definitely probably want to test it out. I have not smelled the gold blend but I do have the regular Polo Blue EDP version and that is certainly smoother than the new Deep Blue.

Classic blue to me is so awesome! I love the cucumber note I always go for that in a summer fragrance

My two biggest mistakes in perfumes are Invictus and Alien Man. Both horrible, but i still wear them from time to time, girls dig Invictus and i received no feedback from Alien.

Deep Blue is expensive and there are way better picks out there. You can get Profondo, Profumo or Sauvage for the same price, not to mention Dylan Blue

I know I’m late lol but I’ve had deep blue for over a year and I’ve gotten so many compliments on it.
The only reason why I hate spring fragrance list is because most spring fragrances have no body no power to me.. I'm still forced to wear my Tom Ford ombre leather mugler pure havane and Givenchy pi.. I wonder if I'm alone with my feelings on the spring fragrances

I'm with you... I live fall fragrances the most... But these summer fragrances get me through this time of year.
You're not alone, but I guess I'm the opposite. I love spring and summer fragrances. They're uplifting, fresh, and invigorating.
Then again I think that's kind of my personality. I like to be bubbly, silly, and joke around with people. That just fits better with spring and summer fragrances than winter and fall.
You're going nose blind to them....there are summer beast mode frags just like there are winter beast mode frags.
I'm looking forward to your thoughts on those mugler samples. I liked a lot of them, but they don't have much longevity;and given the price, its a hard no.

I like the Decant I got of Alien Man. Really long lasting. Deep Blue sounds interesting

Polo deep blue smell's like a mix between aqua di gio and Perry ellis 360 red with a hint of polo red. Honestly the average person would not know the difference between deep blue and 360 red. Not worth the price tag. Just save yourself money and get 360 red by perry ellis its a performance BEAST for a fraction of polo.
Actually ADG Profondo. Smells like something Polo Blue would release. Dry down smells almost exact.
How is the logevity of ADG Profondo if you've already tried it yet?

Best Polo is Gold Blend
It's quite underrated
My favorite is the Polo Blue EDP. That stuff is smooth AF to my nose ha ha. I'm not the biggest fan of incense which is why I didn't take to the Gold Blend
Straight after spraying it on it smelled almost like gin to me but after about 5 mins it opened up a bit
Man i love polo deep blue but i dont believe its a parfum concentration. Lasts an hour on me very weak. My batch code is almost 4 years old so i dont know but man its weak .

A teen can pull it off no problem. Just wouldn't wear it and expect people to notice it though. It's not an attention grabber.
LNDL doesn't really have an age associated with it, now I think about it. I think it's a nice balance between sweet and deep/mature.
Daniel Solis is there an alternative to LNDL that you would recommend?

@@iankourtis8825 Trussardi Riflesso is a cheapie alternative described by Ash as a cross between LNDL and L'homme. He prefers it to both. I have all 3 and I agree it's on par.
What is your opinion on deep blue vs. Blue gold blend? I have gold blend and to me they smell very much the same. I tried deep blue and it's nice, but I passed on it because I felt like I already had the scent with gold blend.
That’s funny because I’m actually thinking about mixing them! I feel like gold has a lil more sharp mature alcohol smell that’ll help balance out the blues fruity smell from deep blue
