This week’s episode of Thought Digest , as they usually are , is packed with some light hearted conversation, as well as some weighty and controversial takes on some of the most spoken about topics!
The podcast episode is split into four segments , with the first being a life update - the ladies share their desire to focus more on their spiritual lives and improve in their personal relationships with God and in their ministry.
In the second segment , Caiah and Mpho discuss the controversial topic of Womanhood : what it is to them [biologically and socially] , and the line between femininity and womanhood .

The womanhood chat was so eye opening. As a young woman l have become so scared to be seen having soft and to embrace that side because of fear to be taken advantage of and that l have to protect myself.
It really is frightening to embrace softness in such a harsh world. But I think some of the fear we have in embracing it, is because we think to be soft , is to be weak. When that’s not true , yk ?

Great conversations ladies 🩷 I'm still watching the episode and the conversation about womanhood is an interesting one, especially in the new-age conscious world we live in. I value both your opinions and I think it would've been an interesting approach to have someone who is a transgender woman part of this conversation. As you both said, their experience is still real and we may not understand that experience. It would have been interesting to get an idea of what that experience is like and what they see womanhood as. Also, a great documentary about this topic is 'What is a woman?'

Lot of times what is even more dangerous is measuring your identity to human made social constructs. You will never win. It's either you will bake yourself with so much of the layers, or might need set yourself free.
