I take a playful jab at the annoying fanboys, just for fun. I'm aware that fanboys exist on both sides, but it's particularly Forza fanatics spreading falsehoods about Gran Turismo. It's a pet peeve of mine in the gaming community, any fanboys, I just like to counter them. Like I said, we see fanboys from both sides, but there seems to be a trend of Forza fans undervaluing Gran Turismo. I wanted to address this issue. Moreover, I believe that many in the media who are fans of Forza have deceived the public by overhyping it. Additionally, claiming it to be the best next-gen car game is misleading. This is why there's a growing resentment towards the Forza community and the game itself-it feels as though the entire marketing campaign was misleading.

@@michaeldongor4281 100%, and I was so hyped for it. But it just killed my enthusiasm after about 10 hours in. I started to see that there really isn't much to it, apart from some good races we get online now!
The interior of the 190E in GT7 is just absolutely breathtaking. Even the smallest of details looks like it was given consideration. The different color glass on the side wing mirrors is an absolute testament to that. GT7 seems to be a car museum with a racing sim-cade attached to it, and for that I really love it. I sometimes go into the garage to just... look and appreciate.
Absolutely, the details in VR are truly outstanding. It blows my mind too, especially when I'm in the garage just admiring the cars. Watching friends experience it for the first time and seeing their reactions is always a highlight, haha.
I'm curious about your perspective. Why do you think the game is classified as 'simcade'?

You can make the GT7 3rd person camera more floaty to look alot more like Forza or Gran Turismo 3 and 4 back in the day.
During a race, go to the camera settings, down at the bottom you will find camera sensitivity and rotation axis offset. Set sensitivity to 1 and offset to 0. You can also change the 3rd person view to be closer to the car or further away.
I like that Forza has an interior view without the steering wheel.
Here is some pointless info for you. The FOV in GT4 is set at 90°

I switched to forza for 5 years but going back to GT, i feel like for what I want in a car game personally get more out of GT7, i think it looks better and its fun just to cruise around tracks where Forza feels like its trying to be more race focused and everything else suffers because of it. I like the cafe club vibe of GT aswell vs Forzas colder asthetic.

Forza Motorsport feels like a "pick your favourite car, take it to your favourite race track and drive it" while Gran Turismo 7 feels more like a "take your favourite car, appreciate its details up close and then take it to youir favourite race track to appreciate it even more"
Polyphony didn't just stick on pristine paint on their cars. You could see the micro-scratches on some models, that's quality work.
Even gtsport compared to fm2023 gtsport will win.

GT 7's car models are on another level entirely. However racing in FM feels better. It's like I'm more connected to what the tires of the vehicle are actually doing... then again in the sound compartment and when it comes to AI GT7 takes the crown for me... sometimes I just stop, rev.. and enjoy vehicles like old v12 ferrari's and the lexus LFA.

Personally, I feel that Forza only offers better driving when in chase cam because it's not static. But for realism and fun, I prefer GT because it's so demanding to hit those good times. However, I do race with a wheel and never use the chase cam In GT, I never have and never will [use chase cam], as it just feels too stiff. But playing inside or with VR is where it really hits the spot, haha! and the wheel play is perfect. As for Forza, the gameplay with a wheel is really poor, even after watching 100 videos to get the right settings. It just doesn't feel right. However, when it comes to chase cam, I like to go online, rip through the tracks with the controller, and just chill for a bit, haha!
I have the same with GT, even after the update no chase cam for me. Also I don't have a wheel for my xbox so I can't compare those. I hear it A LOT though (that wheelracing on FM is kinda dissapointing)

The 190E is one of the many cars Forza refuses to remodel after using it in previous Forza games dating back to the XB360 days. If anybody’s wondering why it looks off in certain areas, that’s your answer

I enjoy both of them as well, but I'm 100% for GT7 due to its features and VR, which is a game-changer for me! However, sometimes I like to play 'chase cam with a controller ' and take on people online for fun - that's where Forza comes in. GT is for when I feel like I'm in a real-life motorsport race using the wheel and VR; it's so demanding, haha! UPDATE: Forza is boring AF now lol

Thank you for your comment, and apologies for my late reply. As someone who is quite particular about graphics, I prefer my games to look their best. Therefore, in Forza, I usually opt for the 'VISUALS' setting. However, when I go online, I sometimes switch to 'PERFORMANCE' mode.
@@AutomotiveVPThanks for response. If you are doing a comparison video you should have both games at the same 60fps framerate. Therefore you should have Forza Motorsport in either Performance or Performance RT mode. Visuals mode is not a fair comparison because you are lowering the FPS to 30FPS to make the game look better. Essentially its cheating, because why not lower to 1FPS and make it look even better again... please use Performance or Performance RT for comparison to GT7.

0:33 Beautiful game, but I still dont get why GT7 has these aggressive bright reflections that ruin the whole picture and make every Replay come with an epilepsy warning. I know that it might be real ( brand new paint and chrome under dessert sun) but its not easy on the eye and should atleast be able to turned off or lower.

I’ve been a Forza playing since e FM2 and I must say Polyphony really won me over with GT7. No question Forza has been missing the mark for a long time.
Both games look amazing, and if I had the cash I’d have both a ps and Xbox. But gt7 is my game for now even though it’s still missing several cars I want. Same thing with forza.
The thing I want for GT is a greater variety of everyday cars, like in the old days!

I got both consoles and games. They do both look good, but that changes when you start actually playing forza. Could be because I'm a huge car guy, so the details and all have to be good. Which forza does for most the cars, but some just look bad lol

Forza is not using the same car models In game and show room cars unlike GT7 car models in game and in show room are consistent all throughout the game.
You can observe this throughout the NPC cars as well. GT7 maintains consistency, but the tire quality in-game seems to be lower in GT, although I'm not sure why. I guess in reality, none of us are really focusing on the tires, haha.
It all depends what you're into in both of this racing title. Some could be more into photography, livery, fun factor, physics, racing, customization, collecting. Tuning ect.. All of this is debatable and doesn't make either title leagues ahead of the other.
This discussion primarily focuses on the car model details and the community aspect within the game, especially with its VR feature. However, it ultimately depends on the players' preferences. You are right, and this is simply my perspective on why I prefer GT7 over Forza.

Hands down GT is the truest racing simulator in game form, Forza has always been an arcadish type of racer, not 100% authentic in its realism as far as physics/graphics/details, GT has it all.

I own both. Some things on gt7 are better, some things on forza are better. Gt7 had a rough launch with its own issues like ray tracing, micro transactions, poor payouts, drm etc, it’s just people have forgotten after a years worth of updates.
Forza has had a bumpy launch also, not meeting requirements they set for themselves. I’m sure in a years time this game will be in just as strong a position as gt7.
As for damage modelling it’s pretty weak on both, but better on forza just but not surprising it isn’t full implemented. No doubt to do with manufacturers wishes.
Finally we can see a GT better than FM…

How do u wreck roof, front and side windows, side doors with front collision in forza. Car looks like its been rammed from every corner or hit with a bat. Wheels remain same place. Another fake advertisement. Better to have like gt7 minimal damage at right spot or non at all. I guess we never gonna have quality damage models like in Beam ng and Wreckfest.

I had souch a big hopes of FM... its better in car controll, good whell controls and day and night cyccle... but It was delivered in Project cars 2 also PC2 looks better and dont need new GPU for 4k 60 fps... The lack of damage models is my biggest gripe with GT7, feels like there is no downside to crashing. Would love to see a full on damage system in a gt game one day, does anyone know if past gt games have had one? Gt7 is my first gt game

@@GNFNR The game is nice, but calling itself “the real driving simulator” when it’s just a sim-cade racer is funny. There’s no real alternative on PC to GT other than Forza, but you can get into actual sim racing with other titles (some get to be expensive) and less expensive gear (console compatible DD wheels tend to have a higher price). Best GT titles so far have to be 3 and 4, even if they’re pretty old. If you can get a PS2 or use an emulator, you’re set with either of them.

I'm not a huge fan of Forza's vehicle shader. looks too much toy'ish
Gt has a sharper more saturated look whereas forza has a softer look with nore realistic lighting so its a "your preference" type deal there but I will day however wtf is up with the engine sounds on gt7?

I am just not impressed with the new fm and proably never buy it either, the worst parts are the outdated car models, fomo career mode, sounds worse than previous titles, very boring upgrade system to, gt7 has it flaws for sure but its way more complete pakage in my opinion
(Regarding The New Forza Motorsport) The controller driving is kind of fun, and the suspension compression audio is amazing, but it's sort of meh. It lacks any of the personality that GT7 has, with a boring, forgettable excuse of a soundtrack. Also, graphically, while courses for the most part look good, car models are sort of meh. I think it primarily has to do with the games lighting, because vehicle interiors, along with the very static interior camera, look awful. Funny enough though, both games have incredibly boring single player "campaigns", but GT7 was a tad more fun with its license tests, circuit experiences, and mission races.

I don't like that wobbling in cockpit view in GT7. And why is there no dashcam view GT7?

Gt7 is the winner for pure detail, upgrading cars, customisation, tracks, sounds when upgraded, physics, car models, content like chalanges and VR.
Gt7 has only a few problems, the car sounds need more bass without upgrades and the game cant be played on pc 😢
I bought it on launch day and can say that it is a great game while forza motorsport 8 is mediocre and not an upgrade from forza motorsport 7 with the same models, worse sounds and terrible pc performance with the game also lacking good content.
I’ve played both extensively, I wouldn’t say Gt7 is leagues ahead at all, it’s ahead in a lot of ways, graphics, features, how the leaderboards work, especially VR, and lots of stuff, but forza is ahead in physics imo, GT7 just doesn’t feel real, when you get a clean lobby forza produces better racing because the cars feel closer to real life, gt7 racing is kinda weird and that’s because of the physics, and track limits too! Forza nailed this, the forza physics are leagues ahead imo, that’s the most important part to me, gt7 just feels too arcade, too easy, you don’t feel that ragged sensation of being on the edge of grip that you feel in real life, GT7 just feels like you either have grip or you don’t, as soon as you lose grip you’ve lost the car, forza absolutely nails that gradual aspect of weight transfer and grip, especially in cockpit cam, there isn’t a better sim Cade game in this regard at the moment, and this is coming from someone who loves GT7

When it comes to facts, GT7 is better. There's no doubt. But what makes me hate this new FM is the soulless job they did. Of course, there will be new patches to improve the game, but it's pretty obvious that this franchise has been suffering a lot recently. The feeling, the passion about cara, all of this matters when you're playing a game. GT always brings us these characteristics, just like the older FM ones

I understand why you might think that, but Forza doesn't actually have more detailed interiors. It's quite minimalistic in detail. The difference lies in the lighting-Forza is brighter, allowing you to see everything clearly, while Gran Turismo often casts more shadows.

I both agree and disagree with you. I don't play using the chase cam, so for me, GT is much more enjoyable, especially since I mainly play GT in VR. In contrast, Forza only seems superior in its chase cam experience, but I find its AI lacking. However, I do enjoy playing Forza with the chase cam, but that's about it. When it comes to playing with a racing wheel, Forza also falls short in my opinion.

You must be blind. The graphics in Forza are well better, better lighting and more realistic looking environments. Not to mention the amount of detail missing in gt7 compared to Forza. Gt7 has pop in despite not having as detailed tracks, and for not having ray tracing. The damage physics in Forza blew gt7 right out of the water, and gt7 silly camera movement is so off putting.

All that burnout and not a tire mark left on the track in GT. Neither game is perfect. They both miss things. But to act as if GT doesn't have the epitome of raging fanboys gets lost on me. I've been playing both games from the start. I played GT when it first came out on the original PSX and the very first Forza Motorsport when it came out. GT fans have been attacking Forza since it's inception, and every iteration after. You can't check out Forza content without raging GT fanboys screaming at the top of their lungs about how GT is better. Both games are great, and play the one you love. But all you are doing is adding fuel to the fanboy bonfire. And I'm sorry, GT fanboys have been historically worse, and they attack almost all car titles. You can find them everywhere in almost every racing game that's "sim-like".
As mentioned in the description of the video, I also clarified at the end that it's just banter. When I upload Forza photos, I receive a lot of feedback from both communities. However, whenever I upload GT photos, I'm often confronted with comments favoring Forza. This is just based on my online experience, as we all encounter different content. I didn't make a biased comparison; I presented both games favorably while highlighting the extra features that GT7 offers. The video is unbiased and honest, which was my main intention.
I own/completed all the Forza and GT games. My opinion is that Forza was oversold, and here's why. What significant changes has Forza brought to the sim racing genre? In my view, none. The developers promoted it as a groundbreaking, next-gen sim racer. However, their main competition seems to be GT. This marketing created immense hype, suggesting that if their claims were true, we'd have an exceptional game. But in reality, what did they achieve? The only positive is the online racing experience similar to GT7, which is not always about bumper cars. However, the game falls short in many areas. The rain effects seem superficial, almost like a visual trick seen in GTA mods. The wheel gameplay is disappointing, the car models are not up to 'next-gen' standards, and the game frequently crashes or shuts off. It launched with numerous bugs. Even with the premium version, I couldn't get online for three hours, and then the game would kick us out. In contrast, GT never faced such issues, had zero game-breaking bugs, and was never overhyped. It's cross-gen and offers the best car models and track data available. This is the stark reality of the situation.

@@AutomotiveVP Um, I was there for both the GT Sport and GT7 reveal. Both were oversold. Remember the hyping of Ray tracing, then they had to temper everyone's expectations because it was only in replays. GT7 is far improved from it's launch. Forza literally launched for about a month now. You've got to be realistic. Bugs are going to happen and remember Forza isn't just on the Xbox platform, it's also on PC. Game development is complex, I always temper my expectations. I also know that there are a ton of people working hard to create something for me to enjoy. I'm not going to trash what they've created because it wasn't perfect. All I can do is hope that they get it to where it's suppose to be. I play forza on both PC and my XSX. My PC is more powerful, but the game runs way better on my console. It annoys me, but I know they are working hard on trying to mage a great experience for everyone. They've been very communicative and transparent. I just know it must suck to see so many people gaining clout by bashing what they've worked hard on. People celebrating the flaws and wishing for the downfall of their company. You might not do that, but check out your comment section and those that have created similar content to this video. It's absolutely terrible. I enjoy the game and I can't wait for it to get better.

Overall GT is better but the online experience on forza is more exciting and it’s been that way since the last iterations. This motorsports however had a good chance of being better than Forza 4 which was my personal favorite.

Gt7 has better sounds than fm, no vacuum cleaner sound anymore in gt, they have better sounds overall, the tables have really turned remember how good fm4 sounded and how bad gt5 and gt6 sounded, since then gt has improved massivly, and forza sounds has just gone downhill since then

@@b.t.motori i disagree they have actully good sounds just not on every car, but they are better than fm, and they are up their with the competetion, they nailed the lfa demon and 992 gt3 rs in latest update, the lfa ex in fm sounds like garbage, the vacuum cleaner talk is just bs and that is not the case for either gt sport or gt7, the only problem gt is having is that the sounds can be to muted, but in the cockpit they almost always is spot on,they have pretty accurate sounds overall, fm does not
