Hello John, This game is not difficult with good pigeons, good loft, moderately trained, health and correct feeding. Email me and I will send you my feeding program. Frank@McLaughlinLofts.com
Thanks Frank for all the great videos. They are very informative. You spoke about benefits of oregano extract, honey, apple cider vinegar, lemon. What are your thoughts on beets, ginger, celery, lemon blended to add to feed on race day return to help them recover faster?
I feel the beets, ginger and lemon all have positive effects. Not sure how you can add to feed but it certainly cannot hurt. Might be able to add to the drinking water.
Thanks for sharing that oregano avian solution is expensive. But it goes a long way I guess.. I boil dried oregano and then put that in with cold water. I think it might have some of the benefits.
Hello John, Any Chlorine remover that you use one to two drops to the gallon is best. I buy at Petco or Petsmart or online. Here is an example. www.amazon.com/API-CONDITIONER-Aquarium-Conditioner-1-25-Ounce/dp/B001OVD8IU/ref=sr_1_22?crid=3RELR3WXZ2SA&keywords=chlorine+drops+for+fish+tank&qid=1661016675&s=pet-supplies&sprefix=chlorine+%2Cpets%2C154&sr=1-22
The best yellow drops are the ones who contain acriflavine ; on the market you have a lot of yellow drops without acrilavine but they're not so good to treat cancer .
I never do that. There is no need to feed all they can eat two days before liberation.. If anything they will be too heavy for the race. You want to keep the bodyweight light and corky. One good feeding of rich fatty seeds the night before shipping day and light feed mixed with some fat seeds the day of shipping is plenty. I do not feed too much day of shipping. Maybe 1/2 normal amount if the race looks easy. You can give normal amount day of shipping if the race looks harder. I feed early morning and maybe a couple handfuls early afternoon so they drink. Take a look at the Video Are my pigeons too Heavy for the Races? Only fresh clear water day of shipping.
Very clear and articulate, Frank. Thanks!

Hi Frank, will using the VBG counter act probiotics or can you use them together
Hi Chris, I do not think it will hurt at all. Giving this product does not hurt the good bacteria in the gut so it should not be a problem.
The best yellow drops are the ones who contain acriflavine ; on the market you have a lot of yellow drops without acrilavine but they're not so good to treat cancer .
You are absolutely correct. I will make that clear going forward.
Hi Frank! How often should i give the VBG oregano mixed in water to my birds as a preventive? Is once a week enough?
I feel three days per week to get some benefit. You can use daily for a couple months when you first move to antibiotic free.
Thanks Frank!@@FrankMcLaughlinPigeons
Can you give vbg to breeding pigeons?
Yes feel free. Start at 1/2 strength for a few days until they get used to it and then full strength a few days per week.
Thanks Frank!
Dumb question but id figure i ask .. hey frank if the pigeons ingest oregano in their food is that the same as the avian solution?
You can certainly feed them fresh oregano and some pellets may contain oregano but the Avian Solution is crazy concentrated.
If I can't find the avg avian in my country what can I use instead
Most countries sell a good Oregano Solution. Any of these should work.
@McLaughlin Lofts thank you , love all the videos
