Good for him being humble, but there will be guys at WSM who would get past our zero nearly every event at ASC or SMOE.
If he doesn’t get in it will be an absolute joke.

He was on the "missed list" last year already, he will be invited. Tragedy would be as an alternate for injury, like Mitch was his first appearance. But in some way shape or form he will be there. Undeniable.
I think Colin has already said hes invited to the 2025 WSM.
I really enjoy Lucas's youtube channel, I hope he does well at the Arnold's. I expect to see him have a good year this year!

I believe Hafthor says, he knows a guy who made him an elephant bar replica - as close to the official one as possible, but not an identical bar.
I thought it‘s a replica of the Hummer Tire Deadlift bar that he‘s reusing?
Nah he tried getting one but Rogue wouldn't allow anyone to remake it, he simply uses a longer bar and adds 4 collars on each side before the plates to space it out further
@svmuscle7677 I know, Rogue is not in on it, I just think the longer bar was a random metal workers attempt to replicate it ftom Hafthor's description. It is a long bar and a handful of collars, I know....
It seems to make a good impression of the real deal.

Thors bar is a replica similar to the hummer tire bar. Not super whippy like the Mammoth Bar

Whatever Giant's Live show they do the Log Lift Championship is the one Lucas should be invited to. He smoked a 465lb log, so I think he could push near the record.
I don't mean to brag, but Lucas gave me a thumbs up when he was behind the curtain at SMOE. You could say we're basically besties now. Be jealous...

I really like Lucas’s point about career timing. I think it’s one advantage North America guys have in the current landscape.
They mostly come up via the high level amateur circuit (OSG, Arnold Amateur, Shaw Classic Open) and in doing so ensure they really are the best amateurs before getting a lot of high level pro invites.
UK guys seem more likely to get pulled into Giants Live before they are ready and struggle to progress past that level.
Europeans and other international athletes have a more varied path. A lot of times SCL can function a bit like the Amateur circuit but comes with the pitfall of making it harder to transition when you are ready because it’s tempting to keep competing at multiple levels at once.
Lucas knows his stuff him and his coach are a wealth of knowledge.

I’ll be curious to see by the end of year:
1. If any those guys can get consistently to the Tom and Thor level where you expect them to win major shows.
2. If Thors pressing improvement or Tom’s new coach can be enough for them to challenge Mitch more consistently.
Definitely top 3.

Now that Mateusz Kieliszkowski dropped out of the Arnold I believe there is an even better chance Lucas will podium. Just now putting it together that The Terminator pulledbout of the Arnold. Not that I was sure Mateusz would have posiumed, but he would have definitely mixed up the points gap between Mitchell Hooper and the rest of the competition.

Still a dark horse in regards to beating Thor and Mitch. As Lucas points out, he was 20 and 30 points behind them respectively at SMOE, but he's definitely a name people should be talking about. I fully expect he'll be on the podium at ASC
