- 2023 marked the end of the franchise that defined DC’s 2010s on TV, the Arrowverse. Not just that, every show that debuted on the DC Universe streaming service before being moved to somewhere else has ended as well aside from one. So as we enter a new era of DCTV, what does the future have in store? Well, in this video I’ll be going over everything we know about every DC TV Show that’s been confirmed for the future going into 2024 in as much detail as possible including both live action and animated series.

TBF Attack on Titans anime had a manga and the manga finished years b4 the anime, with peacemaker the story could be about anything, we don't really have a manga to hold us while we wait for the next season.

The kryptonian has to be General Zod, I think Lex Luthor will be teased in Season 3 as his greatest enemy
I remember reading an article where the crew of My Adventures with Superman were told they weren't allowed to use Lex Luthor, Zod and Brainiac. So with that in mind I think instead make him Ultraman or some D-list kryptonian

Honestly yeah it would be really cool if they could make that universe and the DCU one in the same, but it will probably not happen

I recently got some pictures for the CapedCrusader show all I’ll say is It looks really good.
The Arkham show is set in the DCU not the BatVerse as confirmed by James Gunn recently.
My only problem with Suicide Squad isekai is that a standard isekai world in a universe with places like Apokolips, Phantom Zone, Azarath or New Genesis would look really underwhelming
Just send them to Skartaris at the Center.of the Earth or Gemworld, instant Fantasy setting. Adam Strange is basically an Isekai since he literally gets transported to another world, Hell so is Superman when you really think about it, dude could have even had a Harem with all the woman he's been close too over the years. Lois, Lana, the Mermaid, Diana, Maxima and so on. Lol.
Dead Boy Detectives first appeared in the Sandman comic, so this makes perfect sense!
I truly just want Young Justice back. Also if we're getting new Lanterns content there's a fantastic green lantern animated series with a backdoor to a revival from Young Justice. Just saying.

Just watched Merry Little Batman yesterday twice. It’s lighthearted and aimed for younger audiences, but nonetheless it’s actually good and fun! There’s even inside jokes that only true Batman fans will get, as well as older audiences familiar with Batman mythos. I loved it, so did my nephews. It was a great Xmas DC watch when my nephews and I are huge DC/Batman fans. I thought the animation would distract us from the story, but it’s actually executed well. Check it out fellow bat freaks! 🤘 🦇

To be honest , I think that there others DC tv shows that the black lion forgot to mention , Including :-
1-Untilted John Constantine tv show which is expected to shopped elsewhere on streaming service network other then max and it’s set in the DCU
2-Madame x tv show which is expected to shopped elsewhere on streaming service network other then max and it’s set in the DCU
3-Val zod limited tv show which is set in the DCU
4-DC Super Hero High animated tv show which was announced way back in October 2019
5-Untitled live action Aqualad series which was announced in April 2022 and it’s very likely set in the DCU
6-Untitled suicide squad spin off series which was announced back in January 2022
7-bat wheels animated tv show which got renewed for Season 2
8-The night begins to shine animated spin off tv show which was announced back in 2021
9-legions of superheros adult animated tv show which was announced back in December 2021
10-DC’s Netflix tv show sweet tooth which got renewed for third and finale season
11-Static Shock animated tv show which was announced during 2020’s DC fandom
12-potential renewal of young justice animated tv show for multiple seasons at Amazon prime
Most if those shows are probably gonna be reworked to be put in the connected DCU etheir on max or as cinematic movies just like alot of these projects that were on the slate were announced in the early 2010s to be apart of the dceu but we're cancelled and then brought back but changed

The only valid mentions here are Sweet Tooth S3, Batwheels S2, and I guess he could've mentioned a potential renewal of Young Justice for S5, everything else isn't valid any longer. 1, 2, and 3 aren't confirmed. And 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, and 11 were all canceled.
We need some more Olicity level drama in the new wave of shows 😂😂

Small corrections, Nightwing does exist in the bat-family show. He was in a list of phone numbers Batman gave to Damian in the animated movie. Also, the Arkham show will be set in the DCU, not the reevesverse.
I think releasing this many shows is an amazing move by DC. Let’s say Creature Commandos, Penguin, Joker 2, Bat-family, Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League, Suicide Squad Anime, Kite Man, Harley Quinn S5, Superman and Lois S4, MAWS S2, and Beware of the Batman all release in 2024, then if 4/5 of those get good reviews, trust on the DC brand will really begin to get built back up. Then add the fact that Legacy and The Batman Part 2 are both coming in 2025, and I think trust will be at an all time high by then. If they nail every project I mentioned, then it’ll be around 13 successful projects back-to-back, which will definitely help faith in Gunn and the DCU going forward.

Tbh I deliberately didn't mention it. It's technically a DC property due to it being under Vertigo but Sweet Tooth is also it's own separate universe and the characters have never appeared in the DC universe. Technically you can add The Boys season 4 and Gen V Season 2 to this video as well. All of these shows and their comic sources are too disconnected from the DC universe for me to consider them DC Shows.

It finally has a show runner. Like I said they should have a trailer or a teaser by now! Don't tell about a show runner . Show me what you got . It's like pulling teeth to get a straight answer. Doesn't matter if it was canceled or not. This was project announcement in 2019. You are telling me , during DC Fandom then didn't have any news or nothing until now. If they don't have at least a trailer by the end of 2024 , this project is dead! I am tired of these excuses! If they don't care , as a fan , why should we as fans care!
@duanejackson4430 they weren't able to get to filming for the original 'Green Lanterns Corp' show so a trailer wasn't possible, they were only able to tell us who was cast, but the show is canceled now so all the info on it doesn't matter anymore. And wanting a trailer for the new 'Lanterns' show in 2024 isn't possible because they won't be filming until likely 2025 or 2026. Be patient I guarantee this time the wait will be rewarded, trust 🙏.
So i will be patient. So, if there is no trailer at least late in 2025 or summer 2026. What's the excuse going to be this time? Creative differences? It's not that really a trailer I am not really concerned with. It really is a lack of information Its like almost 4 to 5 months that any information has come out. @@duanejackson4430 The reason why is because they don't have a script, they haven't casted anybody, they don't even have a director and its 1 out of 23+ future DCU Chapter 1 projects. They haven't begun shooting anything yet. James Gunn is doing Public Relations via twitter and the reason they haven't shown any art is because they don't have any again this project could even come out at 2027 at the very latest so wanting the same amount of information we are getting for Superman Legacy for Lanterns is greedy since its coming out years later. And yes Zaslav could potentially cancel it but its extremely unlikely for the situation its in since this isn't another CW project, its a DCU project that they will be pouring millions into.

I'm looking forward to Superman and Lois Season 4, Penguin and Batman Caped Crusader and I'll probably watch My Adventures with Superman Season 2, season 5 of Harley Quin and the Kite-man spin off, but other than that everything else just screams hail mary. Also since this video came out the Arkham Asylum show is (Unless Matt Reeves says otherwise) no longer part the Matt Reeves Batman universe, which if true makes me really disappointed and worried about the future of those films, as I'm looking forward to Penguin and the Batman Part 2 more then anything.
Most of the shows your calling a "hail mary" were already deep into development so canceling them would've been stupid. These shows weren't announced a few weeks ago but were many months ago

The more I know about James Gunn and Peter Safran's vision for DC, the more disinterested I become. Most of these DC Movies and TV shows will flop. Who's going to be interested in "Creature Commandos" or "The Authority"? No one cares about a prequel Wonder Woman TV series or animated movie. This looks like a complete and utter disaster, and I'm an older DC and Marvel Fan, but the recent DCEU movies flopping has taught these idiots nothing. How well "Superman Legacy" does will gauge how successful Gunn and Safran's DC vision will be. We'll have to wait and see, but to me, this doesn't look promising. Just because Gunn had success with "Guardians of the Galaxy" doesn't mean he'll be successful at DC. It also doesn't mean he'll fail either, but I wouldn't bet any money on that.
A big reason the 4 2023 DCEU films flopped is bc James Gunn revealed his DCU b4 they released making them basically pointless and that they werent going to lead up to anything. Also there is currently no animated movie project for the DCU
@@obsidian2249 Agreed. However, what's interesting is that DC is still doing animated movies regarding the "Tomorrowverse" starting with "Justice League Warworld". An Introduction to the 3 Part Justice League "Crisis on Infinite Universes/Worlds". Even though I liked "Justice League Warworld", DC seems to be a mess about the direction Gunn and Safran want to take with the franchise. I hope "Superman Legacy" is good, if not, Gunn and Safran will have an uphill climb to make to generate interest from the fans for the DCU. We'll have to wait and see.

@edg4441 The 'Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths' Parts 1, 2, and 3 are being made to END the Tommorowverse. Letting them have an actual conclusion to the universe is the right thing to do before the DCU starts. Unfortunately, the DCEU didn't get as lucky. And for 'Superman: Legacy' all we can do is have faith James Gunn does Superman right. All the information about the film looks promising so far though.

It'll be a shame Jensen Ackles probably won't be the voice of Batman in the DCU, and Catwoman probably won't be with Batman anymore like in the "Tomorrowverse". In one way, it's no loss because most of the "Tomorrowverse" animated movies have been terrible. Only "Batman The Long Halloween" and "Justice League Warworld" have been good. I liked that Superman and Wonder Woman got together at the end of "Justice Society: World War II in that Universe", but I didn't like that Wonder Woman had an Eastern European accent. I'm a huge BatCat or Bat/Talia Fan, a SuperWonder Fan, and a SpiderCat Fan. After 80 years of Batman being alone and Superman being with Lois Lane, IMO it's time for Batman to marry and have kids with Catwoman, Superman to marry and have kids with Wonder Woman, and after 60 years Spiderman to marry and have kids with The Black Cat. I appreciate your optimism about the "Superman Legacy Film, but I can't see it. Gunn has lost his credibility the way he treated Gal Gadot and Henry Cavill, stating "The Flash" is a great movie, and his choices so far for the DCU. By 2025 or 2026, we'll know if it's more of the same and a dumpster fire, or if he's going to be successful. Thanks again for the information.
Well that kills Peacemaker. Nobody waits for a tv series that long. Plus locking down the actors that long is idiotic. Harley Quinn is crap junk. The spinoff won't last long. These all seem very bad and low effort. I think Gunn's already spreading himself too thin. Depending on the merger there's a chance none of this will get made.
11/20 are already to deep into production to be cancelled, so no alot of this will and or are guaranteed to be made.

@@obsidian2249 The point is there have been and are too many Batman shows. If you saturate the market they are of course going to be of diminishing quality. DC has many more characters than Batman.

When you use a character too much the story / quality takes a big hit, however, they are pouring a lot of money into the upcoming Batman shows and have multiple talented storytellers for each one. I can't tell the future so I don't know if they will be any good, but from all the information we have on them, they look great so far.
@@obsidian2249 They also poured a considerable amount of money into the Joel Shumacher Batman and Batman v Superman, that did not make them good. It would be best to give Batman a break and concentrate on anyone else. Try a Plastic Man movie, it would be great. Or maybe a Black Canary animated series. Heck I'd love to see Wildcat in anything other than a guest appearance. With a huge catalog of characters it just doesn't make sense to keep rehashing the same character over and over.

I was hoping if WB Animation/DC Entertainment TV would make new shows like "Wonder Woman: The Animated Series", "Superman Family", "Rima The Jungle Girl", "Flash Family: Speed Force" & a new series called "Batman Incorporated: Gothamverse" - (1 hour series). A series about 100+ Bat Family members vs the 100+ Gotham Rogues in Gothamverse. Now that should be interesting for Bat fans for sure! 🦇🌉🌃📺🎬🦸♂🦸♀
