could be a change related to powershift, since there is often barricades in the platform hitting agaisnt buildings
I mean your not wrong, because the platform mostly takes things out in it's path.
I'd wager this was the reason, though I have yet to try the new patch. When I play L or M in Power Shift I'd use the Goo Grenade as temporary cover but its behavior with the platform breaks, while it moves you'd just go through the goo until you get stuck on it. You technically can get enemies stuck in the same way tho 😂
Today i learned from the goologist himselft that gundam goo exist in the game.

@@IthinkimobeeThey patched the movement tech where if you time it right to jump and slide on a ledge you get boosted much further forwards (this operates differently from Apex though, when that was a thing I could not time it right).
I noticed this a couple days ago when I was testing some stuff! The off the map thing is SUPER weird and the first clip you showed on Seoul is what happens. You didnt fall too low but I dont think this has anything to do w goo. A lot of weird mechanics this patch. I know the developers were trying to fix the foundations from breaking. Allowing players to get invulnerability under the map was probably their primary concern. Hopefully more goo tech comes back. Love me some goo tech. Great video! GOO GOO GOO GOO GOOOOO
Literally nothing about this is sad. That was unhealthy for the game. You shouldn’t be able to push things through walls, hanging on the edge of the map where 99.99% percent of players think that it is unplayable space isn’t really healthy. I loved the creativity shown with everything you’ve done and I’m legit bummed for you now that Goo is less enjoyable, but there are so many ways things like this get abused. I have no doubt you’ll figure out new bullshit ways to use Goo in the future. Keep it up!

It was doing that wonky thing where the goo does not place properly prior to the season 2 update. It was one of the updates right before season 2 where i started seeing it. As goo boy myself it is very frustrating.

@@schmo103 The Goo gun still seems to be working fine so that's good. It seems to be mostly the throwable canisters so be aware when you are playing they might not expand proper.
that goo mech is sick ngl. I haven't run into that teleport problem yet thankfully, only caught myself a few times this season
seems related to how deep you are, if you are very close to the bottom, it'll tp you out

Thought I was the only one in the world that knew about this shit lol, been working on barricade breaching for weeks :/ it was so fast to breach downwards, you would just make the loose barricade, stand on it, one goo shot.
I bet they didn't even remove it on purpose, but i can't say im surprised. It's a pretty jank thing to be in the game but honestly it was pretty balanced. It required practice to master it in any usable way consistently, and it burned a barricade cooldown. Compare it to the demat, i'd say it's pretty fair.

Embark's balance is so fast. Hard to keep up with. It's a good problem to have overall. Goo def bugged

2:00 goo has always been like that. Its usually a 50/50 on if the canister works or not for me. It will do this, go to me trapping me inside, or it will place correctly.

Goo got buffed! Wym bro. It sticks onto people as it falls on top of them, people faze into the goo out of nowhere, and people get trapped inside with the gernade and goo gun

goo on moving non players are doing that quite consistently, check Ekazo's video on goo tech on turrets. power shift probably took Embark to notice, as I just randomly and not so randomly pop goo with goo gun on the platform and find myself stuck often especially when its moving, especially dangerous when I play flamethrower, but if I just leave the gooey mess platform and let the enemy team get on it, preferably more than one, a single pyro grenade could perpetually cook them to death as they got stuck in the goo and/or panicking that when you're on fire and bumping on teammates, the fire damage overtime counter refreshes and spreads(!)

This is super cool and all but I wouldn't really call it a mech - I feel like a defining feature of a mech is its ability to walk around. Also, I love Helldivers 2 but I have no idea why you specifically say it's like the mech in that game - plenty of games and films have mechs exactly like the one in Helldivers 2, yet none of them are like a levitating wall that covers your back...
I thought maybe you had made some crazy Tears of the Kingdom style contraption using goo legs attached to 2 turrets or something to make them swivel and walk

Yeah most games leave a few changes out of the patch notes, so always keep an eye out. What do you think happened with smoke?

@@Mayorofsexytown1303so I run smoke + thermal vision and I was expecting it to become more op after they removed recon sense but instead I'm getting (sometimes) beamed through what I thought was thick thick smoke

@@ben05 Like Eka said it sounds like an unintentional bug. I don't use smokes so forgive me if I'm missing something, but are you sure that maybe someone just didn't clip you with a small amount of damage and they are using your health bar showing to aim at you through the smoke? Or does smoke normally hide the health bars even after damage? Like I said I dont use it, just trying to brain storm.
