She’s going to love that huge enclosure. Make sure to show us what she does with webbing it up!
Yes I too would love to see her webbing work and how cosy she makes her new home
Well, she is absolutely STUNNING!!! 🖤🖤💙 and how considerate of her to just sit there for us to admire her beauty!!! I'm glad you mentioned the recommended abdomen size in comparison to the carapace, it upsets me when I see some people overfeeding their spiders 😔 and I agree, they all have their own little personalities 🥰 thank you Mr and Mrs Dave for another awesome video 📹 🤍🤍🤍
I had just got up and opened youtube and seen the thumbnail of this spider and didn't like it at first. Then after a few sips of coffee, I looked at it again and realized it was prettier than I first thought. It really is a nice looking spider. Beautiful blue color against the black. I was just thinking towards the end that she hadn't moved at all, then you said something about her not moving. She seems to be comfortable in her new home.
She's a beauty with that lovely midnight blue and a hint of gold. Look forward to seeing what she does in her enclosure and future updates. Cheers Dave and Camera Lady :)
Absolutely a stunner of a spider, very attractive!! Can’t wait to see what she does with her new enclosure, keep up the the great work Dave...
what a colour of blue that she is showing PROFF, interesting talk on the care and the humidity for these spiders.. the spinnerets are amazing in length .another fine interesting project for the beastie room collections, great video CAMERA LADY, many thanks guys and take care
Many many thanks❤️❤️❤️
Just like all my tunnel webs nice and calm .
Another outstanding video!! Thanks Dave and thank you Camera lady!!
I could listen to you talk all day Dave. You talk about each spider as if it's your one and only and they are all so well looked after and cared for. Love your videos keep it up
Thank you ❤️
Beautiful spider. She seems so calm.
Wow, what an incredibly beautiful spider! Great talk about humidity and environment in general, too. Looking forward to future updates. 🙂
Thanks so much!
Wow now that's a pretty spider.
I have a female aswel and it's lovely to see others that love the fallax as much as I do. Nod to the camera lady for capturing this beauty and showing her off 👌
Brilliant. On this side of the pond we would say "She is feisty" rather than "full on".
She is a very regal young lady posing for her portrait. And Camera Lady is perfect at Beastie portraits.
Hi ya Dave and Camera Lady!!!
❤️❤️❤️
Wow, she looks like the love child of the Indian sun tiger/ funnel web, she really is beautiful.. those spinnerets are very telling aren't they!! 10/10 again Dave... Camera Lady and yourself are true treasures in the Hobby, I'll bet that there's no keeper out there who couldn't or doesn't learn a thing or three from the Beasties room crew!! 👍😃👍
Thank you , your so kind ❤️👍
She’s absolutely gorgeous!! Love the coloring!!
She is gorgeous! Love that black and blue. Can't wait to see her enclosure webbed up.
Amazing looking spider. That blue on the legs was coming through beautifully.
Thank you! Cheers!
What a gorgeous spider. We have them here in Australia. Yet to find one in the wild though.
Good camera work! Can see quite a bit of the details on her… the striping and deep inky blue of her legs. Beautiful Spider.
Beautiful...She looks like a patch of midnight.
I had to laugh at your comment about your GBB being broken, as my GBB sling is also broken! Lives in a small clump of moss that I put in her enclosure, and she had not webbed up any of her enclosure 🤣😂🤣
Great video as always, watched it while rehousing a few grown on slings and setting up 2 arboreal enclosures for tomorrows delivery from you 😍
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I have to say that L. fallax is a stunner ! The dark blue really seems to come out in the light. Looking forward to seeing how much this one webs up its enclosure over time.
Stay safe and thanks for sharing :)
You and me both!
What a beautiful spider! 🥰 The blue shade ist absolutely gorgeous and she gave us a nice and relaxed "show off"! 😆
Thank you so much 😀
Wow she is absolutely bloody gorgeous ...
Never have I even seen someone rehouse spiders like it's no big deal. I mean I know you're Uber careful but you make it look so easy. Bravo!
Thank you 🙏
That is, quite honestly, one of the single most well behaved species of curtain webs I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. I'm used to seeing them teleport at the slightest movement. Definitely going to have to see if any make an appearance at the local shows
Where are you from? If you're from the UK, The Spider Shop have them in stock at the moment if you're comfortable with deliveries x
Beautiful spider for sure. I love how you point out individual behaviors within a species. I mention this aspect all the time when giving advice. I think it's really important to recognize your individual's behaviors and needs, and not just follow the norm for a species. They are all unique in their own way, in my experience.
Thank you 🙏
Its midnight here and the neighborhood fireworks are keeping me awake. 😡 at least Dave can calm my nerves. 😁
❤️❤️❤️
She is stunning Dave I think she is a beautiful spider we definitely need more breeding of these.
Thats the plan my friend 👍
Those spinnerets! Fascinating the amount of webbing that comes streaming out as you pull the paint brush aside. Black Velvet Beauty!
Dave, you are a true ambassador! Thank you for your continued flow of knowledge.
I appreciate that! ❤️❤️❤️
Honestly Dave ( and camera lady ) love your videos as always , the missus has finally made the jump and instead of a jumping spider she now is the proud owner of an avic avic 🎉 it’s thanks to you ( camera lady ) petko and Richard honestly you guys all together got my other half over her boundary and instead of fear it’s understanding and fascination 😁
That’s amazing ❤️👍
very pretty spider, cant wait to see the babies !
she's a beauty Dave love, love her!
I was going to comment "Since BTS, TSS have stocked these." until I saw the box! Must admit, the first time I saw any type of Linothele, it was the megatheloides in a video on here referring to them as "The Nightmare Spider" and, as a former arachnophobe, I can agree. However, there's something about them that's so other-wordly and SO creepy that makes them impossible not to research and admire. Perhaps a morbid curiosity or masochism but they're too unique to ignore. They've made their way into my following hashtags on Instagram and I'm always in awe every time one pops up on my feed. A little too close to spindly-legged trues for my liking though.. Maybe one day. Great video as always Dave & Camera Lady 💕
Another absolutely fascinating video from Dave's Little Beasties.
It's the way Dave goes into every detail of the spiders life cycle and care that keeps the video interesting from start to finish.👍👍👍
I agree, once you start the video, it`s IMPOSSIBLE to click off.
Thank you so much ❤️
What a beautiful colour! Always enjoy a Monday when your new video appears Dave! 😀
Thank you so much 😀
Fantastic video, fantastic spider - as usual!
This is it, this is my favorite Big Spider. She's got such a lovely midnight blue velvet color! And the webbing from just her getting pushed out of the container is crazy - can't wait to see what it'll look like in a week's time. x)
We definitely need regular updates for a bit!
Absolute beauty! I have fallen in love with these...recently purchased a female linothele sericata (ex megatheloides) and again completely obsessed 🤣
The genus has changed?
@@Kumoruis apparently so, I have only just recently found out about this.
can't wait to see the update video on this one! Thanks Dave!
I AM ALWAYS SO HAPPY WHEN I SEE YOU POST A VIDEO. EVEN THOUGH SPIDERS FREAK ME OUT I AM ALWAYS SO INTRIGUED BY YOUR LITTLE BEASTIES. THANKS SO MUCH
❤️❤️❤️
She does look like black velvet so beautiful!!!
She’s really pretty! Thank you once again for such an amazing, informative, AND as always incredibly interesting video! I’ve watched so many of your videos at this point that my teenage children now know all about them and walk by, saying “oh there goes Mom again, watching about those spiders…” 🤣 👍🏼
Thank you so much! got to get the kids involved now 😂❤️👍
Well, I'm very early for a video about one of my favourite genera of true spiders. What a treat!
Hope you enjoyed it!❤️
the best series for spider holders. Above all, described in such a professional and very detailed way. I've never seen such a good documentary here on Yotube on the subject.
I agree 100%, Dave is about as good as it gets!
Thanks you my friend ❤️👍means a lot
Such a pretty spider!
She is absolutely gorgeous!!
Finally, my favourite species
Hey Dave from Australia 😊 love watching your videos and the knowledge you pass on to us 🙏🙏
By the way she's a stunner 💙💙
Awesome, thank you!❤️❤️❤️
Terrified of spiders but the blue is quite pretty.
Oh great!! I just love these videos and always look forward to them. Cheers to everyone👍❤️
Glad you enjoyed it❤️❤️❤️
Love the level of your expertise and care for your beautiful little beasties.
❤️❤️❤️❤️
This is a wonderful channel Dave. You do a wonderful job educating and showing arachnids aren't scary monsters but fascinating animals that should be protected and admired. 🕷
Thank you so much ❤️
Hi Dave and Camera Lady 💕💙 hope you’re doing well and having a great day.
WOW 😯 isn’t she a cracker! She’s definitely something very special 🕷Love her colourisation 🕷💙 and her go faster stripes on her butt. Well, I say go faster very loosely 😂 She certainly made herself a happy home sitting on her branch 🥰 Will look forward to seeing her in a few weeks time, to see how she decorates her home 😀 And future breeding projects!
Take care and stay safe 💕💙 xx
P.S
Great camera work as always 😀😘
This a wonderful spider like a true spider
👋😊 Hi there dear Dave and Sweet Camera Lady and that was a beautiful colored spider girl! What a beauty with that deep velvety blue shine and those stripes. We most certainly got a very good look on her when she did so calmly hold a pose for us so long on the stick! Thank you for yet an amazing video and this Summer has for sure being a spider year so far for us where we live in Sweden. We have spiders everywhere both house spiders and spiders from outside to take care off ( we relocate them or take them out ) most days. I never hurt a spider that's for sure because they are good does in nature and serves us as pest controlers indoors too!
We would be in trouble without them my friend ❤️👍
@@daveslittlebeasties Yes that's for sure!❤️🕷👍
Wow she looks like a well polished weapon. Love your videos keep up the hard work.
Thank you 🙏
Great analogy regarding the air quality.
Thanks 👍its sometimes difficult to put into words 😂
Wow what a fantastic spider
Wow. I always wanted a L. fallax. Maybe some day :) Great video
what a looker. Lovely thing.
Well done.
Spoidahh. I love the shiny purple tint on the legs
Beautiful Spider, and considering its fast, the female was indeed, very calm indeed. Does have some amazing hues of black, charcole and grey/blue colours on her. So cool.
I wish you would do more follow up vids on how the enclosures look after the spider gets settled. Love seeing an entire enclosure webbed up. Great vid!
We did on the walk round video 👍
@@daveslittlebeasties i somehow missed that one, thanks. Keep playing with awesome spiders and I will keep watching ;)
This came in last night but I was just to tired to watch it until today.. The black spiders like this one and the Japanese funnel web still send shivers up and down my spine.. It's all in my head I know (that is what makes it so funny) Maybe it comes from my folks, when I was a kid, warning me time and time again about black widows and to stay away from them.. Who knows really.. thanks guys this was as always fascinating stuff.. Maybe you GBB has a slight defect to it's silk gland.. Sorry it is broken.. ;-)
Another great video Dave and Camera Lady. I learn so much about these sadly misunderstood creatures and find it very heartening that so many people enjoy the invertebrate world. This girl is a beautiful spider and hopefully she will make many babies. Love your vids Dave, keep 'em coming.
Thanks so much
Very awesome, amazing spider and the colour is beautiful, got to curse ADHD though, on a lot of the close ups all I could really focus on was the tiny (by comparison to the L. Fallax) native spider moult on the branch off to the left! Had to rewatch to get a better look at the spider you were actually showing, not that rewatching is a bad thing, such a gorgeous blue black!
Love the deep sapphire blue coloring of the spider!
Such a beautiful spider 🕷️. Love her color. She looks very soft. But I would not be brave enough to touch her.
Ooooooh weeeeee what a stunner!!!
I really liked your explanation of humidity levels and the way you gave example for it… I feel like a lot of us struggle with humidity levels and what’s right, wrong, good, bad… but the way you explain things really helps to understand where we need to be. Thanks for another great video! Can’t wait to see this breeding project!!!!
Thank you so much!❤️👍
You are such a responsible breeder, you want to do it right and the spider is important to you, every species shows how hard you work, and Mrs Camera lady works very hard as well, a very great team! ❤️❤️❤️
They do such a fantastic job!
They really do a phenomenal job!!
Thanks really appreciate your support ❤️❤️❤️
Wow just wow .. I have the Colombian funnel web female and she looks so similar but abdomens are a diffrnt color but sizes are similar.. I’ve had mine since a sling and she just webs up everything .. love it
Brilliant to not only see the spider but how you go about building your enclosures tailored to the spider and it’s nature. Great work
Wow Great clip Mr Dave :D
Great advice about balancing humidity with air quality. Sounds a good thing to remember.
Awesome Video and yet another AWESOME spider Davies little beasties
Why am I watching this before I fall asleep.
The color is gorgeous I can see the blue. Good job Camera Lady!
Dave your videos are absolutely banging sir. I have the fear lol but somehow love watching your channel.
I appreciate that!❤️❤️❤️
What a beauty! the legs really resemble the legs of a cobalt blue
Another awesome upload 👌
Oh my god, I adore her. She's gorgeous. Deff not experienced enough to keep this species myself yet, but maybe down the road.
I think you would be surprised how easy they are to care for.
That spider is so beautiful
You've totally become my favourite guy to wake up to, dont tell the boyfriend😜🤣😂
I love curtain webs, cant wait till you get a sac, I'll defo be buying a couple when you do😁
😂😂❤️❤️❤️
Yes the color is amazing Dave!!!!!
Spider 🕷 🕸 is amazing 👏 wow
To look at, and everything else so fascinating...didny realise so many spiders existed 😳
Absolutely beautiful! 💙🖤💛
What a beautiful Spider. This Blue Hue almost like Indigo. Very pretty. How old will these get? If You'd like to answer. Looking forward to see more of them.
I think you should get maybe 6 years from a female?
@@daveslittlebeasties Ah okay, thank You.
Fabulous looking Spider Dave, is she poisonous at all ??????
Yes all spiders are venomous 👍
Hello Dave and Camera Lady. What a gorgeous little spider! The blue and gold on her legs is just stunning. I look forward to her putting some size on. About how big will she get? Last question, do any of your tarantulas jump? I know the Texas Brown does. That would get your attention, right? 😂. Anyway, thanks again for a lovely video to start my week. Stay safe and take care.
She will get a little bigger but not much , all the avics will jump as well as the psalmopoeus genus 👍many will jump 👍❤️
Hey Dave, a number of months ago a friend of mine sent me a picture of the Megaphobema mesomelas (Costa Rican Red Leg Tarantula), in the wild, which looks very similar to the Mexican Red Knee, they live around the central valley in Costa Rica and their environment is usually damp and temperature in the high 50s to low 70s.
Was on mark the spider guys live last night mate and this guy from new Zealand come on and mentioned the tunnel webs
I love the tunof'webs.. lol
They're in my top 5
Just an absolute beauty!! Thank you so much for another wonderful video. ♥
Awesome, I couldn't find much care when I brought mine so I had to remember that I had one quite some years ago and use the same care method as all them years ago
