    Habitat for Humanity Monroe County
    Habitat for Humanity Monroe County serves the Monroe County community with affordable homes for qualified applicants.
    Habitat Monroe has built over 100 homes in Monroe County. Since its start in 1995, Habitat Monroe has lead the effort to build safe, decent, and affordable housing in the area. More than 148 adults and 229 children now have homes of their own because of Habitat.
    The Habitat Monroe volunteer experience allows members from all corners of the community to interact with each other and work together towards a common goal. Habitat Monroe has welcomed individuals and groups from all over Southeast Michigan, including church groups, school groups, corporate groups, and others to help build homes, community, and hope.
    The Habitat Monroe ReStore is also located in Monroe County and is more than just a typical retail store. They offer a unique variety of home merchandise, at an affordable price. Products are donated by the community, promoting a conscious effort to reduce waste and to give back to others. All of the ReStore's profit goes directly back into Habitat's fund to build affordable housing in Monroe County.
