WATCH: ‘The Making of a Habitat Home’

KPRC 2 proudly partnered with Houston Habitat for Humanity in 2020 marking the seventh consecutive year we’ve helped build a home for a deserving local family. This year’s home belongs to Adriane Marks, a mother of two who lost nearly everything during Hurricane Harvey.

I was a volunteer for habitat for humanities.. I loved it. The new home owners has to compleat sweat-equity mean they have to help build home as well, along with everyone that’s gonna own and live in the home. Habitat go all over the world. They are truly committed to make their dreams come true!!!!

I would likecto see something similar to make tiny homes with the homeless ...not all of them are suitable but building for themselves with help goes a long way into helping recovery of self worth .Anyone Making a contribution to something will take pride in it and themselves ....choosing decor and being taught how to paint and wallpaper means life long skills ...

There's already a lot of organizations which do that. You can't help everyone, but being able to help just one person or one family makes it totally worth it

I think it depends on what size your family is where you live the videos I've seen on UA-cam are mostly would I've never seen any brick.
