Over the past 4 years, you have learned a lot on what makes a really good game, and then though us those skills so that we may improve. I have watched your channel since the first video, and I loved it and everyone video after. I think you have made your dream game become a reality in no way anyone has done before, and I am proud that you have finally achieved your goal. Take a rest, and when you are ready, you will be able to tackle what every you next endeavor may be. I wish you the best of luck
It's been a fun journey! I've been following the series since the probably 2nd devlog came out, and you inspired me to start making games! Good luck with your other projects.
After following this game since the first devlog episode, its quite incredible to see how far its come! And I am super excited to continue to follow your game development journey. It is so inspiring
I’ve been watching and following a long for years, I just want to say that’s it’s so amazing everything you’ve done and after all these years you didn’t quit even through completely revamping your game twice! Will buy and recommend to ALL my friends thank you for this amazing journey!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉 I wish you success in every way and I hope you have a great year of 2023 🎉
I’m super excited to see what’s in store for your game development career! You are a HUGE inspiration to me, as exactly what you are doing is my dream job. Are you planning on making any DLC to Patch Quest, or are you done with the game as a whole?
More than positive that with all the experience on your belt its gonna accelerate whatever endeavor you choose to embark on! Happy to see where youll go next!
I really want to thank you. I first played the game in the open alpha as a 13 year old on my crappy laptop, it even made my laptop crash once. I wasnt actively involved in feedback ore testing, just played it for fun. But needless to say that i have been following this game for a while, and have learned much from you videos. You are one of the primary reasons why i started gamedev myself, and am now even thinking about a career in game design. Again, thank you for making this game and these videos, and by doing so inspiring and teaching others like me. I wish you all the best for your next game, or whatever you decide to do. You are awesome, Thank You.
I have been watching since the beginning this has been an amazing journey, patch quest is amazing, I just got a steam deck and I’ll probably binge play it tomorrow morning, thank you for making an amazing game and many amazing devlogs!
I lost track of Patch Quest news a couple years back. But now that I've finally stumbled back in on it, I'm happy to see it in it's completed state atleast! Liam, you've done a tremendous job these past few years! I hope you're proud of this amazing game you've made!
I don't usually comment on videos but I wanted to tell you that I think the game is great. I have really enjoyed watching you devlogs about the process of making the game and I purchased the game as soon as it became available on Steam. I am started a lot later in life but I am working on my Computer Science degree now. I have always wanted to develop my own games and your channel has been great inspiration. I am looking forward to your next project. It is too bad that you haven't been able to port the game to the Nintendo Switch at least because I think it would probably sell well there.
It’s been awesome seeing your progress, discovering your video from 2 years ago, and instantly being so fascinated and inspired by Patch Quest’s style, gameplay, and monster design. Can’t wait to see what you do in the future, thanks for making this awesome game :)
Congrats man!!! Must feel great (and scary at the same time). Can't wait to see what your next project will be, excited to be in the ride from the beginning since I wasn't for this one.
I loved watching the devlogs and it kinda makes me sad that this is the last one for patch quest but it makes sense that you have to move onto other project. I hope that you have successful future! I hope I'll still be here by then.
I'm very impressed by your progress and wish you success. I admire your devlog updates. The best thing you could do is create a strong "lore"/world for this all to fit into, which can then be part of a "brand" that has a more clear identity and attitude. Right now it feels very generic, even though it has neat ideas and mechanics.
What if you had an update or monsters interact with each other for example, if a tyrage meats a cobra, the tire rage with driving by the tail and slam it on the ground and the crobra would run away
Maybe it is too late now but you could still do videos on music, maybe do a lets play with other youtubers etc. Just because it is done doesn't mean you stop advertising because it will help keep viewers for next game. So hope to see more videos still. Or take haitus so you can store 20 videos up and when second game is up. You just upload weekly to keep momentum up. I just bought the game and love and gave it a good review on steam 💜
It’s a shame to see it go. Especially after watching the devlogs for so long, I hope you succeed in whatever new games you decide to make!
Yeah, even tho I just started waching

Loved seeing the game evolve and grow, as well as play more and more smoothly, for so long. Congrats on the game's success; it's very well deserved!
It's been a fun journey! I've been following the series since the probably 2nd devlog came out, and you inspired me to start making games! Good luck with your other projects.
Mate I love the changes and new stuff you’ve done, exited to see what your doing next, I loved the game so much and still do!

I really enjoyed these dev logs. I'll eagerly wait for whatever comes next for you!

I’m super excited to see what’s in store for your game development career! You are a HUGE inspiration to me, as exactly what you are doing is my dream job. Are you planning on making any DLC to Patch Quest, or are you done with the game as a whole?
Pretty sure dlc's off the table.

How much has Patch Quest made? You should do a video on what to do and what not to do when starting an indie game dev journey. 👀
Aaaaayyyy! Time to get back in!!
Had a great time with this thanks!
Love this gem, play it on my Steam Deck.
Congrats
It's been good, It'sbeen fun.

Can you upload the soundtrack to UA-cam and Spotify? I’ll love to listen to the amazing music of this game on the go.
Maybe it is too late now but you could still do videos on music, maybe do a lets play with other youtubers etc. Just because it is done doesn't mean you stop advertising because it will help keep viewers for next game.
