Fr though. It feels they made money a good but harder though I’m not sure if that’s cuz I’ve been playing master rank ice borne and had 14 million at my disposal at any point in time lol. Also I’m playing dual blades this time around. Very fun. What isn’t fun is that the current meta requires a totally new armor set and weapon for each element LOL.
There's a faster mission for resetting the upsurge. It's the one star village quest "Roly-Poly Lanterns". As soon as you load in travel to the sub-camp. Facing north, there is a firelantern directly on the right side of the mountain. From there you wirebug over to the next closest firelantern to the north. You can check where the firelantern is on your map and use the filter to find it if needed. You will only usually only need to gather from two firelanterns (once in a while you may need a third). My fastest time to do this run is 23 seconds and I'm sure I could get it done even faster.
@@nyleo04 I got more than this route here on my first botched attempt at Gaijin's route. Definitely better execution all around. The passive Argosy/cohoot income is a nice addition though.
I prefer this mission as well, although I've gotta respect the community interaction angle they took by challenging people to race them. Credit where it's due, that was a good play.
The first few games are a hell of broken hitboxes and terrible farming, your pickaxe could break, you would bounce off small monsters with yellow sharpness... Trust me you didn't lose much
There's a fish that appears in most ponds I've found (the pond in section 10 of the lava map had it all 3 times I went there) that sells for 500z, you can farm up a stack of 99 of them in like 15 minutes if you're good at placing your lure. I made almost 500k in about 2 hours while listening to a podcast the other day.
I was maining one single weapon while a friend of mine was experimenting with different ones and consistently going broke, making me think "how can anyone go broke in this game"... Until I switched to a different weapon and tried to craft a weapon for each element. I‘m sure my face when realizing I couldn’t craft the final upgrades for reasons other than a lack of monster materials was priceless.
Probably common knowledge at this point, but I go through my monster materials and sell 10 of anything I have 20+ of, if that makes sense. You're always hunting and increasing these numbers, so why not?
@@Buphido it helps too that I can't put any real time into Rise until Friday nights at the earliest + some time on Saturdays, so I'm not hurting for $ so much as time.

Luckily, I still had stuff to sell, but it was a scary couple of minutes.
I kinda hope they either the decrease the costs of weapon upgrades in the future or increase the money you get from quests. Having to do 4-5 Quests just to upgrade a single weapon seems a bit much.
I like that its so much easier to find ways to get richer. Back in world I would have to look up tutorials, but with Rise I was just noodling around and already found like 3 ways to get quick money without having to grind too much all the way back in low rank.
I just run the last boss (no name for spoiler free) while watching/listening to youtube or something. It's how I farm all my talisman mats, but also if i need money i just sell for about 50k + 20k for finishing the mission. I've got him down to about 8 mins per run with bow.
@@dragonsgamingunite2565 the high Rank ores in the volcanic caves are 800-1000 zenny a piece. And you get 12-16 per mining spot. That stacks up quickly
I think its funny that after recommending Geologist, you did the run without Geologist lol. Upsurge only lasts 10 minutes, node respawn takes 4. If your route takes 4 minutes, you can run it 2.5 times. The route starting at subcamp 2 is MUCH more node dense than subcamp 1. Even better, the Sonic event mission is a time trial, and if it's completed in under 2 minutes, it rewards a golden egg that sells for 20k! Fishing for speartuna isnt too bad either. Get your rare endemic dango and you get an infinite Speartuna respawn in the volcano 3. 1000 per fish, max stack of 99, and less than an hour to get a cool hundred grand. Just bring dung to chase the bigger monsters away.
Also. The cohoots nest can give you a golden egg which sells for 20k. I’ve done 80 quests, been trying to be good about checking it and I’ve only gotten it once. Bottom line, It’s rare af
If you use the same method but the rout that gaijin hunter uses, you can easily make up 300,000 zenny and the rout is quick asf so you can actually manage to make at least 3 laps if around the map collecting mining outcrops.
Be careful on this one because you can get stuck on one of the wind things haha. at least you can complete the mission to get out of it but you lose the rest of the surge.
That first one. It's much better to go for Blue Mushrooms... Don't sell the Blue Mushrooms themselves, no.. instead put them into the Motley Mix and turn them into Herbal Medicines, then sell those... You'll also get massive amounts of Dango Tickets which also sell for a lot. That's waaaaay more money than any item you can sell directly from the trader.
Farm Almudron for a single plate for hours on end and sell everything. Starting to think it's non-existent at this point and I'm over 25 hunts in. Getting all the breaks and 14 of those hunts were captures.

Bless you Vestmore. Bless you
Thanks making weapons and armor then upgrading them is burn a hole in my wallet so Thanks a lot
I just got good at taking down Goss Harag and ran the high rank version and sold everything from the results screen
Carbalite is breaking Kamura's economy
I believe it’s faster to reset the village by letting yourself get carted in the arena quests
Holy fuck I had NO idea there were that many mining nodes
That first one. It's much better to go for Blue Mushrooms...
Don't sell the Blue Mushrooms themselves, no.. instead put them into the Motley Mix and turn them into Herbal Medicines, then sell those... You'll also get massive amounts of Dango Tickets which also sell for a lot. That's waaaaay more money than any item you can sell directly from the trader.
Farm Almudron for a single plate for hours on end and sell everything. Starting to think it's non-existent at this point and I'm over 25 hunts in. Getting all the breaks and 14 of those hunts were captures.
Desire sensor is like that. I had to farm Almudron plates yesterday as well, but got the two I needed in just two hunts. RNG is truly a mysterious being.
Does anybody know how you unlock the other slots at the argosy? I can only send one buddy away😭
You have to fulfill Rondine's requests. When you progress far enough, she'll ask you to do some things for her so it will unlock for you.
@@KidxBlack thanks!
Before you can get that you gotta do your village quests, m8...
I've been doing rampages with the money boost food skill.
Got tickets and zenny lined up.
